So I went there this past Saturday with my dad to try to make a deal on a car. After speaking with a "salesman" Krystian we took the car for a test drive and sat down for the negotiation (ie paperwork and see if we could get a better deal) after running my credit they came back and said I was by approved for the car. We asked if there was any wiggle room we wer told that due to service provided internal and external (car wash and buff job) they could not reduce the price anymore without losing on profit. Doing the math given to us by the "salesman" I concluded that the payments would be too high for me and asked for $500 to be removed. (I was ready to leave with the car). After days of going back and forth we decided not to continue with the car and move on. Bill a sales manager sent me this text this morning. Thanks Bill, we'll be in touch.

Thank you to all of the staff members at this location. I'm glad they'll helped me find the perfect car for me. I like to Thank Paul, Tom and Yader for having patience with me and to help me in the process as well, the environment is really welcoming, they offered food and drinks to me and my father, also they recommend the best insurance company to me. I would recommend anyone including family and friends to this dealer.

The car dealer showed great customer service and interest in customer needs at the beginning when first purchasing , he guaranteed the cars at his lot were legit and no problems would be happening but just in case we were offered 2 year warranty on the car if anything does happen to be wrong with the car he has top notch mechanics that'll fix then. The next day I get my mechanic to check out the car and the car was not in the greatest shape it was missing general car pieces to help the car run, we then tell the dealer and his mechanics on Wednesday he then tells us there isn't any space in the lot for our car and we would have to wait until the following Monday for our car to be checked out. We then were able to negotiate him into keeping our car in his mechanic shop because we just drive almost 1 1/2 -2 hours to get there. The car was in the shop for more than a week and a half we picked it up the next Friday and it seemed fine until a few days later the car started unexpectedly turning off on us in the middle of the street, making turns , gas stations and the even check engine light turned on we've tried to switch cars and do something about it but the dealers aren't acting as courteous as they were before ! They seem to have a horrible attitude about the situation and a nonchalant attitude as if they don't care about the safety of us in the car that we got from them and is currently financing

For the East Dundee location:…read more The team at Driven Auto are generally personable and willing to help. We specifically came for a vehicle that they had listed on their website that was within our price range. Adam was kind (we felt no pressure) and went on a separate test drive with both me and my husband as we had our baby with us and weren't able to all go at the same time. The purchase process was fairly easy and we were happy to walk away with a new to us car that same day. After driving the vehicle home, we started to notice a grinding/clanking noise. It progressed and continue to get louder, so I called as I was concerned that it could be a significant safety issue. They got us in the following Monday and were able to determine that the front passenger side control arm needed to be replaced. We are grateful that they got us in quickly and replaced this free of charge. Unfortunately, there are a few issues that we are still having with the vehicle. The active noise cancelation system (ANC) has a microphone issue. Instead of reducing road noise, it is amplifying it when accelerating between 25-35 mph. My husband pointed this out when we brought the vehicle back for the control arm, but they were unable to fix that component. Also, during our test drive we noticed a noise that sounded similarly to an electronic deadbolt locking/unlocking (gear grind) when locking/unlocking the car. This was something my husband asked about but was told it was normal. Unfortunately, however it is not normal and it is actually a failing fuel lid actuator that we will need to replace as well. A few other issues have included tire sensor and display screen connectivity issues. I know what you are thinking... you bought a used car, expect issues. Yes, yes I know. This is just a warning for due diligence, as I'm not sure what type of service checks are done before these vehicles are listed. Lastly, the only other issue is the "I Owe, You Owe" contract. This was something we were asked to sign with the promise that the dealership would provide us a second key to our vehicle within 30 days. I made multiple requests regarding this, with the last 3 requests being within the last week of that 30 day contract. On the two occasions that I spoke with Max, who had also signed the "I Owe, You Owe" contract, he had told me he had been too busy over the last few weeks to call about a second key, but would get it taken care of. This is frustrating as I guarantee if we had "owed" something, and didn't follow up within 30 days, this dealership wouldn't have taken that lightly. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Good luck with your used car buying search.

They sold me a car with a known issue, misrepresented its condition-putting my safety at risk-and refused to replace the failed parts when the car broke down just a few thousand miles later. The full story: I bought a used Tesla here in October 2024. There was a steering alert on the dash--salesperson Ibrahim said he would fix it. After I got home (an hour away), the alert returned. Ibrahim told me the car was in great condition (which was materially false) and that the warning just needed to be reset. A few thousand miles later, the car became inoperable. Tesla confirmed the issue was due to worn suspension parts that existed when I bought the car and quoted me over $3,000 for repairs. The dealership marked the warranty disclosure as "N/A" and failed to note any defects, which I've since learned may violate Illinois law (815 ILCS 505/2L) because the car had under 100,000 miles. They refused to cover repairs--even if I used their own shop. Their service lead, Omar, quoted me over $1,300 to fix it. I've also since learned of multiple lawsuits pending against Driven Auto Sales across the U.S.

Honda quality and safety speaks for itself, so it was one of the top choices on our list. We were put in touch with Rudy Lika who is one of the senior sales associates at Gerald; he was very informative, kind, and honest with all the questions we had regarding the 2026 Honda CRV EX-L model. The test drive was fantastic, and my wife loves the classic and premium interior look. Rudy gave me the OTD price over email, so the day I came in, it took 10 minutes for us to discuss my trade-in and sign the contract. He fought hard for us to get the best value for our trade, which was the exact number I requested so the deal was quick, efficient, and smooth from start to finish. We got an incredible price under MSRP and can guarantee Rudy will give you the best price of all dealers in the area inclusive of various add-ons and your trade-in. I was at the dealer for a total of about 1.5 hours to finalize all the paperwork, and that's exactly how car buying should be. It was a very stress-free experience and I would highly recommend taking your business here if you're in the market for a new car. Thank you again Rudy and happy holidays! Best, Charlie

Everything was agreed upon and moving forward. We spoke the same morning, and I explicitly told him I would call at 2 PM . Based on that conversation, I went to the bank, got a check ready, and scheduled a pre-purchase inspection. Then, without any call, warning, or basic courtesy, I received a message saying the owner decided to sell the car and it was already sold. After wasting my time, they suddenly claimed I didn't send a $1,000 deposit to hold the car something that was never clearly communicated as mandatory. That excuse came only after the car was sold. If you are negotiating with a customer and planning to sell the car to someone else, you PICK UP THE PHONE and inform them. Instead, the manager said, "I'm just a hired hand, it was the owner's call." Passing blame like this shows a complete lack of responsibility and professionalism. This dealership does not respect customers' time, does not honor verbal commitments, and operates in a completely unfair way. Total waste of time. Very disappointing, extremely unprofessional, and not how any legitimate dealership should operate.
