Repair was worth about $8k+ I payed 11.2kfor the car never said nothing about it & they masked the ticking sound with thick oil ! knowingly is the messed up part. 4 broken lifters, camshaft, 2 head gaskets, 2 valve gaskets, & crankshaft connector. Went here to check out Black Friday used car sales. I was there to check out a Subaru but when I arrived and inquired it had already been sold. I asked about a couple other vehicles or interest and was handed car keys and told to just go ahead and test drive it. I found the vehicles in the used lot but they were packed in tight, almost impossible to inspect and back out to test drive it. I got into the vehicle and immediately felt unsafe and that the condition of the vehicle was sketchy at best. To ad to that sentiment; a salesperson came up to me and said "go ahead and drive it, you can drive it to your mechanic." This vehicle would not possibly make it without breaking down. The steering wheel couldn't turn (power steering fluid?) and had a flat tire. The body was horrible (not as pictured) and the other vehicles were just as bad. It's basically a "pick and pull" with a used car dealership operation. I left without testing any other cars and do not recommend it to anyone. I didn't have a salesperson and the "free for all" style of operation was sketch and honestly just felt questionable. read more

Bought a subaru on 5/18/21 with a 15 day or 500 mile power train warranty on the engine and trans. On 5/28/21 the engine went out due to bad head gasket and both cylinder heads. After calling for almost 2 months consistently, the owner was never there nor did he returned my messages. On 7/7/21, Maverick (salesman) stated their mechanics don't work on those engines and thus wouldn't honor the warranty. Not even if I took it somewhere else with me helping with the parts. Please see the pics of the warranty and the towing date of when the car broke down. They are not honoring their own warranty nor return calls on warranty issues. read more

The salesperson I dealt with, José Alvarado, was very honest and truly interested in earning my business. However, the desk managers add a "market adjustment" onto a used car to bump the price as much as $2900. While the sticker price remains artificially low, the dealer adds the artificial markup into the OTD price. So, for a car that was marketed at $25,900, the OTD price was $31,000. After I asked to just be told what that $31,000 included, the desk manager set a $30,000 bottom line but would neither explain nor budge. Maybe I am naïve and just don't deal with sales people that often but that is really shady. read more

UPDATE on my best friend, so she had to leave her car in another State because EUGENE sold her a lemon.. She took her car to a random shop and they told her that her Transmission was gone, remind you that she just got the car from CARS147 in November. The mechanic told her it will run her over $9000 to get her car fix. EUGENE you should be a shame of yourself for putting a single mother and her kids in a vehicle like that to make a buck.. As some other people mentioned, the sales people are nice. Marco was helpful throughout the process of doing a trade and was very honest. As for Maverick, not so much. When it came down to doing the paperwork and going over the warranty, Maverick specifically said if there were ANY problems with the transmission or the engine, we could bring back the car and have it fixed by their shop if its brought in by the deadline stated on the warranty. The car was brought back to their shop after the transmission started having issues (a couple of days after the trade) and they said they don't do transmission work in that shop so we can either get the car that was traded back or keep the car that was purchased as is. What's the point in offering a discount on work the shop doesn't even do??? Save y'all money and y'all time! read more

Real mixed, the sales people are very nice, honest. We purchased a Toyota Highlander from them. the second set of keys and key fob was locked in a lady's desk. We returned for the keys and she was not there and the keys were still locked in her desk. We have made several calls to have the keys mailed to us, and no keys. We were told this lady arrives on site between 9am - 10am and leaves around 12noon and 1pm. All we want is the keys to the car we purchased. Gets better twice they said they had mailed the key and fob to our car. When I called today they said it was at the office. I told them that I didn't like being lied to and was screamed at by the manager. He said it was a mistake his salesmen made. I then said, didn't you also tell me it was mailed. He replied, yes. Not only did they lie twice, the Manger attempted to hide he was one of the employees that told me the key had been mailed. HONESTY FIRST! I bought a used car here during their Black Friday event.I bought a 2001 Subaru Forester and it runs great! It's my daily driver to work, 24 miles each way. I've had it for 2 months and it's running great with no issues whatsoever. Marques the sales associate was great. He let me take a couple cars out on extended road test, even picked up my kid from school and back. I could've taken the car to a mechanic but I chose not to because the car fax report showed me how meticulously maintained the car has been. Now known as Posen motors. Texted them on a 2009 Honda Accord coupe with a manual trans. I told them I was out of state and traveling 2 hours to get it. I have bought every car I own out of state. Asked if it would be as simple as me paying the 7k in cash and being on my way with the title. They say no $7,500 out the door. Guess it's one of those $500 "filing fees." Complete BS. They said come down and we will explain the fees. I asked, you want me to drive 2 hours so you can explain $500 in fees on an out of state purchase. They never called or replied. Don't seem to care if they get your business or not. Terrible. read more

We just purchased a 2002 honda crv and we love it! After going to quite a few car lots I can say without a doubt this was the best one, by far! The owner and salesmen are so friendly and accommodating. The owner, Maverick, actually had to move a few cars out of the way for us to test drive the crv and he did it happily and with a smile on his face. Negotiation of the price was not nearly as stressful as I had perceived and extremely fair. Thats the way sales should be and you don't see it very often anymore. After we had decided to purchase the vehicle, Kim helped us the rest of the way and she was amazing! Her customer service skills were excellent, friendly, easy to talk to, and nice. She explained all the paperwork and pricing, helped us get new plates and registration all in a very timely and efficient manner. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Buying a used car can be very difficult, and places like Discount Auto Mart help take a huge amount of stress out of the experience. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a used car.
