Spark plugs Ignition coils Here is the story. I bought a car on October 31st 2019 and when I bought the the sales person Matthew was super nice and awesome I bought a 2013 Hyundai volester turbo. I payed 5,000 down and When I brought the vehicle I didn't buy any insurance cause that isn't what I afford but I read the contract I was signing and it stated that there is a warranty for the vehicle for power train for I believe 90 days. Here is the start. Not even a week later about 5 days only 3 business days on Monday November 4th 2019 my check engine light came on and knowing person that work on dealerships they should check these things but I was extremely angry. My engine had a misfire in the 2nd and 4th cylinders and I check the codes as well as brought it in and the car only had about 46,000 miles and it was the spark plugs and the ignition coils are bad. The spark plugs help power the car and it misfires and I don't want it to damage the engine any further. I take it in the shop and I tell them I just brought the car and the check engine light came on and literally I show them and read them the contract and they said the spark plugs and coils are not covered under the power train even though it gives power towards the engine and helps it run. I just brought this car not even a week and the check singling light comes on which they should of checked the plugs to see if everything f was good and passed emissions they say they were gonna charge me $900 just for the plugs and coils and I haven't even had the car a week it's like it was a joke I've already put so much money down and they expect me to fix something that isn't even my fault. I refuse and I have the receipts for everything and I brought my plugs which was $30 and the coils. Which was $123 we put the plugs in my car because we got them from autozone but we didn't put the coils in because I had to order them cause they were cheaper online I don't get them till Tuesday. It was ridiculous and keep in mind when I called to ask for help they said I have to talk to Hyundai even though I got it at Volvo and then they said I gotta talk to the advisor and the advisor said I have to talk to the sales guy why would I have to talk to him if I need service. I have the bad plugs but they were fried completely burnt all 4 I checked the filter system and it was filthy and I had to put a new one in there because if I kept This in the car it would cause more problems with my engine. It just hurts having a car I love have an engine light go on not even a week after buying it and saying oh we aren't gonna do anything to it. These things are the things they should check cause if I didn't it would cause more issues and more money. YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO CHECK THESE THINGS BEFORE A CAR LEAVES A LOT IM NOT STUPID I KNOW PEOPLE THAT WORK AT DEALERSHIPS

Here are two of those Shufflin characters.

We immediately called and drove straight to your location. Honestly, I was angry and felt awful for my son, that saved and put down $ 12K of his own money. That day, we worked with Ishmael in the service department, Larry Sweiss (Used Car Sales Manager) and Nick Garcia our Salesman. Had to leave the car for a few days to be inspected. The next few days waiting for an answer was rough. But then, you guys came through!! Spoke with Larry Sweiss, and it turned out that the fuel pump had failed and there was a recall on the air conditioner condenser. He took care of everything. The customer service that I received, from beginning to end was a true "Home Run". It was a collective victory thanks to Ishmael, Nick, and Larry. "Real customer service" isn't just placating the customer in the moment and then dropping the ball before the finish line...It is "following through until the end"....You guys did that, and I cannot express how much that meant to my family and I. We have purchased two beautiful vehicles from Nick Garcia, and I am sure they won't be the last. Will be sure to refer friends and family to Nick at Kia International Orland. Your Forever Customer,

The situation involved a challenging diagnostic process that required coordination with corporate engineering and took longer than expected. What truly stood out, however, was how dealership leadership stepped in, took the time to fully review the situation, listened to my concerns, and ensured the matter was resolved fairly and professionally. Danny and the management team demonstrated a high level of accountability and customer focus. Communication was clear, the issue was prioritized, and the team followed through on everything we discussed. In the end, the vehicle was properly addressed and the experience was handled the right way. Delays & unforeseen issues can happen in any service environment; what matters is how a business responds. Bettenhausen showed integrity, ownership, and a genuine commitment to doing the right thing, which is what earns trust and long-term loyalty. I would confidently recommend their service department and would not hesitate to return.

My car sat at the dealership for over a week and a half without being looked at or diagnosed. I understand that service departments can be very busy and that vehicles brought in by tow may take additional time to be seen. However, after waiting that long with no progress, I called to have my vehicle towed to another dealership. When I spoke with the service manager to arrange the tow, I was then told that my vehicle would be looked at that same day. Unfortunately, that was very different from what I had been told previously and only came up once I decided to move my vehicle elsewhere. Better communication and more realistic expectations for turnaround times--especially for towed vehicles--would greatly improve the customer experience.

I spend a lot of time in the area and simply wanted the opportunity to see and drive the right vehicle before putting money down. I left my contact information in case something matching what I wanted came in. Their internet salesperson, Gary, later reached out and immediately asked whether I wanted to leave a deposit. I explained that I wasn't comfortable putting money down on a vehicle I hadn't even seen or driven yet and would prefer to first look at the right trim if one became available. Instead of a professional response, the conversation quickly became dismissive and irritated -- essentially "leave a deposit or good luck." Apparently wanting to actually see and test-drive a vehicle before committing money is now an unreasonable expectation. What's impressive is that they somehow managed to turn a neutral, ready buyer into someone who now won't even consider the dealership and will actively warn others away. Inventory shortages are understandable. Poor customer service is not.

I bought a CR-V years ago from this location and I got 190k out of her before she retired. I had hoped, prayed this wouldn't be a lengthy, horrible process. Actually it was not!! Started glancing at cars on lot, knew I wanted a suv. A lady named Melissa was the only sales rep who came out and greeted me. We went over what I wanted, needed...she found a car just for me...a black HRV with a moonroof(A MUST!!!!!!!). The transaction was smooth, seamless. Numbers made sense. Melissa was professional but also gave a friendly vibe. They totally gutted the place since the last time I was here in 2020. Very nice!!!! Thanks Melissa and Community Honda.

Since the dealership was closed Sunday and I needed it fixed, I went to Firestone Complete Auto Care for a second opinion. They confirmed the alignment was still out of spec and I had to pay again to correct it. I was not provided a before-and-after alignment report at the time of service. When I followed up, I was told everything was "within spec," but no documentation was initially provided and my second alignment report was dismissed. I ended up paying twice for the same service within 24 hours, which shouldn't happen with a properly completed alignment. I'm hoping management can review this and help resolve it fairly.

I needed to think if this was my only option & of course I didn't want another car payment seeing that I was almost done with the Rogue. Well I was disappointed a couple weeks later that we just noticed & they did not disclose that the back window was replaced. We noticed glass broken on the inside of the back where the door closes. We checked the window the back lights & nothing broke. You can hear the glass as we open & close the back still inside. I called talked to the manager again expressing my upset. I understand that they only are concerned with motor & transmission. That is difficult not to miss though. Sad thing is I noticed the front windshield had a crack in it while there before the buying & manager was like oh go show her as I was reading the carfax report.vThey apparently filled that in. The manager was then he was like oh that is all cosmetic & to put my ipass in that area. Mind you it was down a bit from where that would go. I felt as if this was a brush off. I would have stopped in today but having PTSD from the other accident & didn't hear back right away I wanted to go home. Pictures coming.
