Called Rizza Cadillac a few weeks ago to inquire about a vehicle in their inventory. It took the sales representative 3-4 business days to get lease numbers for me. I gave them the opportunity to meet numbers from another Cadillac dealer, their response was unchanged so I leased the same vehicle at a more competitive price. Saving thousands of dollars. The dealer I ended up choosing took 3 hours to analyze the deal I was offering and to accept the deal as I offered it. I would if expected a much quicker response from Rizza Cadillac regardless of the outcome. It was apples to apples and I was surprised that it took so long to come back with an answer and that answer was so far apart with the competitor. read more

Deceptive business practices. Listed price is not the price of vehicle when arriving at dealership. Told warranty purchase, but when time to use warranty, miraculously there's no warranty. Dealership does not want to complete repair needed. Only made 3 payments on truck and was told they were not going to honor ghost warranty and "TO GET THE H## OUT OF DEALERSHIP". On February 22, 2025, I visited Rizza Cadillac to view a vehicle listed online for $87,950. The dealership ran my credit without my consent, added a mandatory warranty not disclosed in the listing, and delivered the vehicle to my home without my authorization. I did not sign any purchase contract. I have filed a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General and have an open Circuit Court of Cook County case regarding this matter. Consumers should be aware of these practices and ensure all agreements are in writing before providing personal information. read more

DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED!!! My dad and I went a few weeks ago to get a Chevy Blazer. All was good until we realized we got $CAMMED. My dad and the sales rep Greg Parker were negotiating numbers back n forth.. they finally both agreed on a number only for the dealer to then INCREASE the final price about $4k! My dad was rushed when signing the papers because it was closing time. He didn't look at the numbers(I understand bad on his part) because he thought a deal was a deal since him and Greg shook on $23k. We noticed the huge increase once we were relooking over the paperwork. First thing we did was call the dealer to see if we can speak with Greg in person to go over how the car went from $23k to $30k... Had to reschedule the meeting because Greg got busy. Then my dad was finally able to go there and speak with Greg.. it was a screaming match! There was no clear explanation as to why the price increased so much. Seems to me that they don't care about scamming people! As long as they get their money. Would NEVER recommend anyone to do business here. It's nothing but a headache and you get scammed. read more

If you are considering purchasing a vehicle at Rizza Cadillac, or having your Cadillac vehicle serviced there for that matter, please read this review. You will think again. After being hit with a surprise $1,995 prep fee, I purchased my rare manual transmission 2018 Cadillac ATS. The vehicle had been sold with bald tires, but I was promised at the time of sale I would be given new Bridgestone tires- this was accompanied by the 'We Owe'. I was also only given one key fob, in which Carlos promised me a spare. The vehicle also had no front plate bracket when I had picked it up, and no one available to install it. As soon as I had gotten the vehicle home, electrical problems came up. I also observed the oil filter on the vehicle did not appear to have been changed, the wiper blades were streaking, and the cabin filter was very dirty. These are the basics of any used car inspection! I notified Carlos right away about a defective OnStar system and backup camera which I had come across. After a few weeks had gone by, I was finally told the tires were in. The dealership didn't put on the new Bridgestone tires as promised. Instead, they installed used tires that had numerous patches and plugs- there is no denying they had been used. Bait-and-switch. The new key fob was programmed improperly- the memory seats did not operate, so I had to go and have the key fob reprogrammed elsewhere. The biggest concern I had was with the backup camera. Instead of ordering a new backup camera, the most logical resolution for the issue, the dealership bought one from a junkyard. The issue is, the junkyard one came from a different ATS, one that was not compatible with the vehicle. When they called to ask me to come and pick up the vehicle, I instantly noticed the backup camera video feed on the radio was pointing right at the ground. Did the technician not think to verify their work post-replacement? At this point, frustrated, I spoke with Josh Jansky, the Used Car Director, about the situation. I expressed that I just wanted a new replacement backup camera from GM. When ordering the camera from GM, it comes complete with the bezel for the trunk button and camera. Josh shipped me out a replacement backup camera about a week later, but extremely dishonest and disappointingly, I received a lesser, aftermarket backup camera that also did not work. When I checked the bezel that was on the vehicle with another dealership's parts department, they confirmed that the bezel from the junkyard that the dealership put on did not match the one for the vehicle. I called Josh right away, figuring I could just get my original, correct bezel back for the vehicle, have the camera itself swapped out, and be done. To my surprise, Josh ignored all of my calls. My texts to the salesman Carlos also went without response. After a few days of unreturned calls, I reported this incident to General Motors directly. The following day after reporting the incident to General Motors, I received a call from Scott asking about what happened. I told him repeatedly that my rearview camera bezel was swapped out while in service for the wrong one. Scott told me that Josh believed he had sent me back my original bezel, which given the wrong part number on the one I got back, was not true. Scott then told me he wasn't sure what to do, bizarre considering simply replacing the $200 part they lost while my vehicle was in their service department would have certainly boosted (or kept me from leaving) my review, but I haven't heard back from Scott or anyone for that matter in a week. At this point, I am left with a vehicle that has packing tape securing the cutout in the trunk where the bezel that this dealership took from my vehicle goes, and inside of my trunk is still torn apart over two months after purchase. read more

Tried to purchase a truck today. I was paying cash. Truck is listed for 30,900. I'm pre-approved with my credit union. I did my homework as always and if I decided to pay the asking price (who pays that?) the total would be $33,500 as in the screenshot. I offered 33k OTD these people came back with $36500??? In what world. There is a hidden service inspection fee of $1995. I told them I'm not paying this. BEWARE OF THE $2000 fee. Even still the math doesn't add up. They refused to come down on the price. Told me this is the price with the trade in. What are we even talking about. Told them $33000 out the door with ttl or I am leaving. They came back with the best offer of $34650. I left. This truck has been on the lot for 2.5 months. They lost a sale being greedy. I would stay away. read more

June 11,2025@5pm, Me and my wife went Car shopping and ran across a reasonable priced SUV After the test drive everything turned South.1) We were miss quoted the wrong price(a extra $8,000 on top of the Internet price.) Which I'm assuming He did not know but I did. The Sales rep kept going back and forth on the price nor knowing or knowing the starting price was wrong.2) i was charged additional fee's i.e. Location and delivery fees and the all important Cert/Prep Fee. 3) Here's the kicker He added a I need to make a profit fee? (I know i was shocked also,WTW??) An additional up charge to the price of the already overpriced SUV .(2,000). The So Call "GM" (Jim) comes over to tell us we are getting a good deal and should take the offer of this over inflated priced SUV. I told him the original price from the Internet, and he walls away. The sales rep and "Jim" goes to the back and still no I'm sorry nothing just another inflated price to the original Internet price. I'm told they needed to make money, I'm like how can you change the price, Nothing was said but come on we need to make a profit, I said is this a personal deal? I was told they needed to put something in their pockets I was floored this day and age people are trying to rail road people aka bait and switch in 2025. -5 stars! This is by far the worst experience anyone can ever have servicing their vehicle. I bought in a White Escalade for the first service 3 weeks ago. It had 2 recalls, and to perform those recalls was 1-2 days. I requested a loaner car and they mentioned to me I have to schedule for a loaner car since they are 2-3 weeks out on loaners. The same day, I called the service appointment phone number and scheduled an appointment, and mentioned to them it would stay overnight and I needed a loaner, as the service advisor David told me to do. I come in today, I was not greeted when I walked into the office. 3 advisors in the office, one was helping a customer, and the other two were on their computers or on the phone. I felt it was very awkward none of them greeted me or even acknowledged my presence when I walked into the office. The advisor Becky asked me to come to her desk, went to my vehicle, took photos, took readings off the dash, came back inside and told me "unfortunately we don't have any courtesy cars they are all out, we can call enterprise. I said "I am not going to waste an hour of my day going to enterprise. You should have called me and told me you don't have a vehicle and rescheduled my appointment. She said "let me see if Buick has a car" I said "let me talk to your manager" The manager Ken was kind, respectful, and extremely patient in listening to me and hearing me out. Becky comes back and says "we had a service cancellation we can actually give you a loaner now" I asked Becky, David and Ken "why did it take a cancellation for me to be able to get the service I was supposed to get initially." Nobody had an answer for me. Why did it take a cancellation for a future appointment for me to get a loaner? I asked David to specify his name and his colleague Becky so I can leave a review on it and he refused. He said to me "you didn't even buy your vehicle from us." To me, he was suggesting I take it somewhere else. Becky and David's attitude and service towards me was unprofessional, disrespectful and beyond DISGUSTING. I would never step foot into another Rizza store after that pathetic experience. I will be reporting this to Cadillac corporate in the next day. They need to know they are swinging clients away from ever buying another Cadillac product again. When spending $100k plus on a vehicle, you'd expect some type of professionalism and respect. Well, not here. Becky and David belong in a Buy Here, Pay Here dealership, or should deal with out of warranty, older used vehicles. Ken was extremely professional, well mannered, but it's unfortunate his ways weren't adapted in the dealership. read more

I did not purchase my vehicle at this location but I do take it here for service since it's close to work and I can drop it off. This is my second visit here: two were for oil changes and one was for front brake pads and rotors. So far my experiences have been very positive. Every visit my vehicle has been washed and vacuumed for free which is a very nice touch. Typically women are given the run around at most auto places but here the prices have been very consistent to what is advertised when I made an appointment through the myCadillac app. The labor fees are what I have been expecting as well so no real issues there. Thank you for being friendly and to the point when it comes to estimated times of services. I usually have been in and out as told so I know how to plan my day around it. I will continue to come here for service and I hope the trend of great customer service will continue. read more

I strongly advise against this dealership because of the way the general manager, Jim Allegretti, treats customers. I visited the dealership on June 5, 2025, with my mom to look at a 2017 Colorado Z71 listed for $25,450. I had done my research and felt the price was fair enough for a test drive. The saleswoman who helped us, who I believe was named Bree but I could be wrong, was friendly, professional, and made the process quick and easy. Unfortunately, the vehicle did not match the photos online: Multiple paint chips Worn interior 6 to 7 inch tear in the driver's seat (not shown in photos) After seeing it in person, I mentally lowered the price I was willing to pay. Strangely, the dealership has since raised the listed price to $25,950. When we returned, we began discussing numbers, and I offered $22,500 out the door to start the negotiation. That is when Jim Allegretti came out. He introduced himself by speaking loudly and quickly, telling me how important he is and how he does not usually leave his office, which is apparently in another building. I repeated my offer, and he launched into a long speech about how the truck was already $6,000 below market value. This was not true considering the vehicle's condition and the mileage. He also said that trucks like this rarely come around, which was also not accurate, and generally avoided discussing price in a meaningful way. He did not counter my offer at all. He simply repeated the listed price, which is fine, but I was not interested at that amount. Things got worse when he told me the dealership could not go any lower because, in his words, the dealership is broke. He actually said that. He also blamed Governor J.B. Pritzker for not giving them enough incentives, which was somehow his explanation for why they could not lower the price of a used truck. He continued with another long-winded explanation, and when he finally asked if they could earn my business today, I told him no. He gave me a look of disgust, turned to walk away, and only shook my hand after I extended it first. As we were backing out of the lot, Jim ran up to the car and flagged us down to talk again. He asked what it would take to make the deal happen. I repeated my original offer, even though I had already made up my mind not to do business with them. His best response was to take off $500. I told him that just like his dealership, I am broke too, and we left. After this experience, I read more reviews and was honestly surprised to see how many people have had similar issues. Jim Allegretti has a long list of complaints against him, and I am genuinely surprised this family of dealerships continues to keep him in charge. Based on how I was treated and what I have seen others report, I would strongly encourage anyone to look elsewhere. read more

Beware The services technicians are horrible. My vehicle been in the shop since November of last year every single month sometimes twice a month I asked to speak to Tony Rizza. He's a really decent guy. He's the owner. He would not return my call this last visit the end of June they finally gave me a decent car to drivewanted to charge me over $2000 for the repairs gave me $250 off the vehicle because vehicle constantly be in the shop. Also Mr. Rizza threatened to call the police and report the rental vehicle stolen and I've been inconvenience every single month of this year. The horrible Service jobs. I been receiving countless time. I have spoke to Mr. Tony Rizza on many occasions. I cannot believe that he would even consider calling his vehicles stolen knowing that I run a BlackCar Service and every time my car down I lose money but I guess that's fine but he have his vehicle back. I had to pay $1800 to get my vehicle back. 400.00 in parts and the rest was labor fees. I found a government program, that would assist me with getting the repairs done on my car because of my disabled son and they refused to fill out the paperwork to become a vendor to get paid. I was left holding the bag they had just had my vehicle two weeks prior left several messages for Becky and the service manager and no return call back. I received a check in 2022 under the Illinois lemon law. Tony Rizza sold me lemon, and threatened me to turn it in rental stolen. I was told he was very disrespectful about the situation. The rental that the dealership brought to my front door. The owner sent message he was call vehicle in stolen. I will never return to that dealership again in my life. My experience at Rizza Cadillac was exceptional! I went in to look at the used XT4 and XT5 Cadillac SUVs to decide which model would be the right fit for me. Salesman Kerry Washburn was so helpful..he answered every question I had and had me test drive both models to make my decision. I had a trade-in, for which I researched the trade-in value, and I was given exactly what Kelly Blue Book listed for it the first time. I decided on a 2021 XT4 and Kerry made sure everything was perfect before I drove off. I have to say that this was the best car buying experience I ever had.. thanks to Mr. Washburn. Purchased a 2020 Chevy Blazer with a CPO warranty nine days later I couldn't go in reverse they gave me a loaner car for a couple of weeks and told me that they flushed the trans which would not fix the problem (waste of time) and gave it back. A couple of weeks later it happened again and this time they didn't find "anything wrong" with my Blazer. I took it to Currie Motors in Forest Park where they said it was something wrong with the trans. Now Rizza states I don't have a warranty after countless times I bought my car for service. Finance guy wrote up the contract as an "as is" purchase which was not the case when I bought it so, please watch out they will talk and talk and have you signing some BS you didn't agree on. Greg and Josh are very unprofessional Greg P. acts as if he's going to help but he's the one that sold me the lemon of a car. Greg was so scared to lose his job for standing up for what's right when he knew I paid for a warranty, and Josh the used car manager, is worse he doesn't have the decency to return your call NEVER. How don't I have a warranty and they gave me a loaner and looked at my Blazer four different times but when it was time to fix it, they pulled the ole I can't help you play. They did not listen to my concerns and in a condescending manner I was told I just needed new tires with no further explanation. Didn't offer to look into my concern, drive my vehicle or listen to me any further. It was inappropriate. Unfortunately he reminded me he's been doing this for 37 yrs, he was not wrong in the way he treated me. This is unfortunate as I was a reoccurring customer. It's also unfortunate (for Rizza) that they lost out on revenue. Simply put - go somewhere else. Sadly, this dealership manages to give both Cadillac and the Rizza Family name a real black eye. We came in and test drove a new CT5 this evening and during the course of discussing the terms of the deal, the sales manager rudely comes into the office to announce that "they would need to call us back if the incentives got better - to where we could afford the car". Apparently this clueless, arrogant "sales pro" failed understand his own deal sheet and he's completely ignoring our down payment on the terms. Folks, there are far better places to buy a car and Rizza, get your folks some training. This condescending, clueless "leader" isn't setting a good example for your brand or the younger employees. My phone rang multiple times after we left as the dealer spun into full damage control and tried to get us to return. What a joke of a process. Go to any other dealer - there are plenty who value their customers. Similarly to others who have stated the same, I went to this dealership in hopes of buying a used car that was advertised on their site along with third party sites at $23,950. No other explanation was given outside of their cost to inspect the car prior to resale. When I told them that this was deceptive and was not interested in paying the additional fee, I was ushered out the door while being told 68 other people were interested in the car even though it has been there for over 130 days.
