Steak and Comstock Lode* - Steak & Eggs
Ashlyn M.

We've come here for breakfast a few times, and love it! It reminds me of my hometown diner in cedar city, and even smells the same I am not the biggest breakfast fan so if possible I usually order steak and eggs. The last few places we've gone, the steaks have been very poor quality. This sirloin was amazing! And for $14?! Hell yea. Not chewy, and cooked just how I like it. My boyfriend was very pleased with his pancake and omelet. He didn't leave a single bite of food on his plate lol. We will be back!

Prime rib Friday special 22.95! It was

Me and my wife stopped in here Friday night for a bite to eat were told by a friend about this place. we loved our food and the service was very good! I had the prime rib, which was excellent, and my wife had the halibut which she enjoyed very much and we couldn't believe how big the piece of halibut was. We will definitely be back.

The food here is just ok. The omelette was kinda bland. The fruit was not good at all. Did not taste fresh. Service was ok... no issues The inside from all the reviews I read had my anticipation a little high. Nothing too great about it. But it was nice.

Creamy blue cheese dressing to go on top of my super yummy and delicious chef salad.

was served the best chef Salad. Fresh crisp lettuce, loaded with sliced cheese.Sliced ham sliced turkey vegetables and blue cheese. When I walked in the smell of fries hit me and gave me a craving. So I ordered some fries. The fries are a meal within themselves. Next time I will try them with cheese and not get a salad. They served me a giant plate of fried yummy shoe string potatoes. That was just way too much food because it came with one of their famous scones. And you can't pass up a scone. I ate half of everything and took the rest home for lunch the next day.

Vegetarian Omelette $11.95

What a mistake to stop by here! Raw, undercooked and diluted. Omelette with veggies and cheese was so plain and undercooked, cheese didn't have time to melt. Hashbrowns were left untouched because it seemed like they were still frozen; half of it were just raw potatoes. Service was OK, however, still had to call few times to get attention. And don't you ever get a coffee in this place, cause I think it's just colored boiled water. No flavor at all. The interior is old American style with a nice view on the main strip. Table was served nicely and in time. Clean and neat place, what basically get the stars. Overall not even one time try place.

Old Timer* - Pancake Combo

Food was amazing pancakes were huge and thick and they gave me a lot of bacon compared to other places our server was nice and there was no wait time even for how busy it was. And the Halloween decorations was a nice touch

This is an old time cafe with great prices, huge portions, and no frills. And that's a not a bad thing. Service was fast, we were seated quickly, orders were taken timely and food was out quickly. Although their lunch and dinner menus should have enough for everyone, it looked like breakfast their specialty. We were there for lunch though, but we'd come back for breakfast after seeing what everyone else was ordering. The tenders were... Tender, and crispy. Fries were plentiful, definitely not cooked from frozen and very good. My wife had no complaints on the salad and mashed potatoes, especially when it came to the price. Yes, I'll be back.

You can tell she loves her job and is proud of her cook. This place may not look fancy like other Italian restaurants with dim lighting, fancy deco, but her food speaks for itself. Her salad is always fresh and flavorful. We had avocado salad. It's not just a bed of mix green with avocado slices. There's apple slices, mixed green, every piece is lightly covered with rich and refreshing dressing. The pizza is not the usual pizza from pizzeria, she made it from scratch. It has its own texture. Pork lasagna is light! It is not the typical thick pasta layers. Everything is made from scratch. We love it. My friend said it's more northern Italian cooking. It's not loaded with red tomato sauce. The pasta is thinner, the ground pork is tender. Then comes my favorite short rib ravioli. I'm usually not a fan of ravioli, because they're always full of cheese and nothing else, but Susy's is full of short rib. Just meat, not trying to cheat with cheese or cream. If I want real authentic Italian food, I'll come here. I love how Susy will stop by the table, chat with us, told us what tv show she's watching. When she's excited, she'll talk with her hands, what an adorable lady. One thing to keep in mind, it's a one person's does it all, so it'll take a bit longer to get your food. Come in hungry but not too hungry so you don't get hangry!

Once inside, it had a welcoming atmosphere and people inside were all having a good time. This brewery features Lager Beers crafted using traditional Bavarian/European methods...thus I had to try one...two...maybe more. Luckily there was a ton of delicious looking food on the menu from the expected pizzas and wings to the old world treats like beef stroganoff, goulash and schnitzal. Everything is made from scratch and I couldn't help looking at all the neighboring tables to get an idea of what to try. Our waitress Ashley was really helpful and checked if the pesto was made with nuts as we have peanut and tree nut allergies in our family. Luckily there were no pine nuts or other substitutes and we could safely have it! We ended up getting quite a feast of plates and then topped it off with two desserts- the bread pudding and the German chocolate cake (couldn't come to a family agreement so had to get both!). Thanks Bohemian Brewery for the excellent time!

They do not take reservations, but we didn't even wait 5 minutes. We started with a side Caesar salad that we split. It was the perfect size. Then I ordered the sauerbraten. It was a huge portion. The meat itself was rather dry. The cabbage served with it was excellent. Another side on the plate was a kind of spaetzel, again on the dry side. My husband ordered the salmon that came with spinach and mashed potatoes. That he enjoyed very much. It is a very upbeat atmosphere and has 2 floors. They accommodated us by seating us on the first floor. I would go back, but try something different. Our server was Carson and he was helpful and attentive.

Only reason I haven't been back is because eating out is a whole-family decision. What you get at Bumblebees is, in my opinion, a rare and odd fusion of foods that loosely fall into the realm of Bulgogi and Primanti Brothers (think fries plus bulgogi). The interior is appropriately dive-y. The service isn't surprising or especially fast (I recall it being respectable), but...that unique combination is only akin to having chili Mac (chili over spaghetti) from Hard times in DC. So...it's in that vein of highly flavored meat over a base starch that is cooked in such a way as to carry the flavor and not hamper it...every time I drive by, I wish my family liked spicy things more - it's totally worth it!!

Family business always makes a place that much better in my opinion. Kevin's fried chicken has been around for a very long time and the couple that owns it has been there serving us great chicken from day one. The hours are shorter since the COVID-19 stuff but the lady told me they did it because they were getting older and the business takes up a lot of their free time. I guess when you've been doing it for a long time it tends to take it's toll. Located inside the gas station (don't let it put you off!) is where you'll find this family ran chicken place. Not what you'd be expecting, but it doesn't take away from the great food you'll get here. The chicken is fresh and the food is tasty! The chicken sandwich was delicious and had some jalapenos on it to give it a little extra kick. Handmade chicken strips are what this place is about! The potato wedges are also breaded for maximum tastiness! Plan ahead because they might run out of food later in the day. You don't want to show up late and walk away empty handed.

I would have stopped in long before if there was adequate signage. The fried chicken was on par with KFC and the giant potato wedges were a welcome addition to my combo meal.
