Came here yesterday and loved everything! Our server was SO wonderful from start to finish! I wish I remembered her name! She had such great recommendations and really listened to what we were all going for. Also told us how each dish we asked about is typically received with other guests. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures but maybe that's a testament to how much we enjoyed everything! I got the "all the single ladies" drink. It caught my eye immediately! She said she loves it but it's been hit or miss for people. I took a chance and ordered it - SO glad I did. It was delicious, refreshing and not too sweet. If I had to come back to get only one thing, it would be this drink! For the table, we got the burrata, bread basket, white pizza. Loved it all! The white pizza was a bit on the salty side. My 2 kids got the Mac and cheese and the chicken tenders. They devoured it all. Their Mac and cheese kind of tasted like velveeta.. but it's all good, they enjoyed it! The tendered were good and super fresh I got the agnolotti which was DELISH! My husband got the Gorgonzola gnocchi with chicken and was also delicious! So creamy and balanced. I'd def recommend adding the chicken to that one. Wish we got a dessert. Hopefully we'll be back while we're in town! read more

I'm not sure when the restaurant was establish but I'm sure they're fairly new. According to their menu, they make their own bread and pasta. That's fresh. Order: pork belly banh mi. I'm Vietnamese so I was intrigued when I saw they had banh mi on their menu. Banh mi is a traditional Vietnamese sub made up of thinly sliced pork belly, pâté, pickled carrots and horse radish, cucumbers, cilantro, and jalapeños served in between a toasted baguette. It was a must try to see how close they hit home. From a 1-10, I give them a 7.5 for taste and having more differences than similarities. Similarities: baguette, pork belly, pickled carrots. Differences: pickles, red bell peppers, onions, and honey mustard?. The pickling was different, a little too vinegary/tart. Too much fat on the pork belly. But overall, it was enjoyable and tasty. The food is absolutely up to the Medure standard that you've come to expect from this group. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Stopped in for a quick lunch and immediately fell in love with the place. The lunch menu is pretty simple consisting of a few starters, salads, two pasta offerings, made to order pizza, and sandwiches. The pasta is made fresh in house, the pizzas are prepared by hand as they are ordered and cooked in their beautiful stone oven. They have a great selection of cocktails, beer, wine, and the typical non-alcoholic options to wash it all down. The food came out quickly, well presented, but most importantly packed with flavor! They recently opened, but it's very obvious they are apart of a well versed and well tuned group, as such they are providing top notch service at an incredible reasonable price in a LOD back atmosphere. We stopped In for lunch. We got Caesar salad, Sicilian pizza and the pastrami sandwich. The Sicilian pizza has a sweet sauce which I really liked. I loved the Caesar salad it was so good. I didn't care for the pastrami sandwich it had coleslaw on it which I would normally love but it was very sweet which I did not expect nor did I like at all. I would have loved it with no coleslaw or a not sweet one it tasted like a Big Mac secret sauce very strange. I like a savory style coleslaw or just fry it on the side anyway I scraped it off and it was fine. I can't wait to go back and try something else. The place is cute! The service was great. I could not get any service on my phone at all which is very annoying. read more

The service and food here are excellent. We sat out on the patio which has a lovely atmosphere. The food is creative and tastes fantastic. It's difficult to make an entree selection because everything is delicious. Our waitress, Trinity, was attentive, personable, and knowledgeable about the dishes. The food arrived in a timely manner even though there was a large party seated near us. The chef went out of his way, on another occasion, to make my daughter feel special for her 16th birthday. He makes a delectable Tiramisu. A great place for a date night, a party, or even to bring the kids along as the patio has a putting green and several fire pits to relax around. read more

Let me begin with that the food here is fantastic! This was my second or third time going to midtown and it was quite the rollercoaster of an experience. Upon arriving we weren't really greeted by the hostess but had to get her attention. And I don't think she communicated to the other hostess that we had checked in for our reservation. Eventually we got sat outside which it was the perfect day for. Let me mention our reservation was for 7:45 and they closed at 9:00pm. Our server was great, we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine between the four of us, and some appetizers. The beef carpaccio was amazing, and the burrata was solid. Upon receiving our dinner, my friends meal was put in wrong and the manager Chris came out and apologized and the food came out very quick! I enjoyed the pizza although my husband thought the crust was a little too soggy. The gnocchi was always fantastic. My friends husband had the hanger steak and usually he loves it but it had an odd flavor this time. Almost too salty and garlicy with sort of a fishy taste. That was a little odd. Lastly, the bread pudding and Nutella pizza were great to end with! However, the end of the night was super frustrating. We have all worked in restaurants and were aware they were closing and so we wanted to leave. Our waitress never came back to give us our check and after waiting around 10 minutes I finally went inside to see the entire restaurant closed up and had to get cashed out by the bartender. I felt bad to be "that person" but I guess they forgot about us on the corner of the patio... Long story short this experience was subpar. I will be back to give the service another try since the food for the most part was amazing!! read more

My daughter and I decided to try this place out while on a day trip to Jacksonville. It had great reviews and was near the ikea so we drove on over. When we got there at about 12:30, I was surprised that almost everyone had reservations. We of course did not but once the hostess figured out what she was doing, we were sat in about 10 minutes. Let me say the food and the drinks here were a very high five stars! They have unique craft cocktails and tons of wine and beer to choose from. We both tried a different fancy cocktail. They were both unlike anything we had ever had before and were soooo tasty. We ordered an appetizer, each got a salad and split a pizza. It was amazing! It was plenty of food and we actually had extra pizza left over. The pizza says it's 10" but it's a very large 10". Our service was pretty bad. Our waitress sort of forgot about us when we weren't ready to order on her initial visit. Then she got our app wrong but ordered us another one. And then just forgot to bring us a few small requests, like res pepper flakes. It was okay since the food was so amazing and I had all intentions toons of giving a five star review because the food was just that good! But on my way out of the restaurant, I stopped in to use the restroom and it was nasty. Overall, it was a fabulous experience and we can't wait to go back and try it again and hopefully update my review to a five star ! read more

Food was absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend, however, four stars due to slow service. Our waitress was kind and did her best but they were clearly understaffed. The agnolotti was divine but very mushroom forward so only get if you love mushrooms. The gorgonzola gnocchi was creamy, soft and mild. I actually would have preferred more of the pungent flavor of gorgonzola but I understand more people will like a milder flavor. My husband got the olive oil, salt and fennel ice cream and it was outstanding (no time for pictures). The tiramisu crème brûlée was wow....must have! My first time at Midtown Table (at lunch) and they operate like they're shutting down. They're out of numerous menu items and, while rotating taps are on the menu, was told they have no taps now as "the management decided to no longer offer beer on tap". Ok, so it's 1:45pm, and the staff truly seem like they don't want to be here. So not impressed. It's a Medure Bros restaurant. Expected so much more. What am I missing? UPDATE: A week after writing "Jordon," as suggested by "Business Owner - Lauren", below (crickets). Still no answer to my email. I guess that answers my questions about this restaurant and speaks volumes about how much they really care about addressing issues. I won't be returning now. I suspect this is good news for Midtown Table. read more

I really appreciated the fans/misters with the Florida heat. The food was delicious! We both enjoyed our pasta dishes. TLDR; friendly staff, but weird ambiance - not good for a date. Incredibly overpriced for very average food. Came here with my husband for a date night around 8pm. The lighting was really intense & bright - not at all a chill vibe. It was decently busy, but plenty of open tables and seating. You do not need a reservation. We sat at the bar & ordered two drinks, meatballs, and pasta. Everything came out super quickly. The meatballs were good & the drink menu looked awesome. They had a great list of cocktails & a robust beer menu. I liked my drink until I found a hair in it. That was a huge bummer & super gross. The food was okay - nothing was super flavorful or rich in complex textures. The gnocchi was definitely better than the linguine, but still just pretty plain. After the lack luster meal, we decided against dessert. The outdoor area is really nice with string lights, fire pits, and giant connect four. Great for entertaining kids. What a great meal. I had heard good things but I'm happy to report I too thoroughly enjoyed my experience as well. We started by spilting the roasted caliuflower pizza and the white bean hummus. The roasted butternut squash and the agrodolce drizzle took the hummus to the next level. And I am a sucker for anything truffle so the caliuflower pizza was a wonderful blend of textures and flavors. I could have stopped here and been happy as a clam! But next I went with a fresh pasta dish I just couldn't resist the agnolotti. Stuffed with spinach and artichoke tossed in a fabulous sherry cream sauce was good to the very last bite. And to finish the meal I had to try their ice cream special since I have been wanting to try the olive oil combo. It's a different dessert but I always enjoy trying new things and I would order again. It was ice cream layered with olive oil, honey and Maldon salt then sprinkled with fennel pollen. If seats are available, and the weather is nice, I highly recommend sitting outside. It's a beautiful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Town Center. For an appetizer, I love starting with the burrata with spaghetti squash, pancetta onion jam, and arugula pesto. So good! The Caesar salad, baby greens salad, and kale salad are all delicious and refreshing. The sandwiches... Lawd have mercy. They're good. You can't go wrong. This is an honest review. I made reservations for 12:00 on a Wednesday, the host gave us regular Jacksonville water for sitting us (I'm ok, it's just thick water), however .... We spent 1.5 hrs there (only because it took a long time fir our waitress to serve us .... Everything)! I spent almost 150.00 for 3 of us including tip (because I'm nice or she caught me on a nice day) Hot pasta, cold pasta, hummus, 3 cocktails, and get this... a prime rib sandwich, that had NO FLAVOR!!!! I honestly don't know how they got great service reviews, we were sat and 3 tables were served their entrees before I even got my appetizer, This was with a reservation. I wish that Yelp allowed for half stars as I'd like to give them 4.5 stars. The venue is quite nice: the kitchen is open, the restaurant is airy, and they have a great patio. And they have a grassy (turf) area where kids can run around. Our server was friendly and helped us chose dishes without choosing too many. We ordered a basket of bread, the roasted beet salad, the bucatini carbonara and the radiatori. We asked if the entrees could be split, and the server said no problem. The bread was served as an appetizer and was good, but I loved the roasted garlic. I'm not sure it also needed the tapenade, but it was tasty. I was pleasantly surprised that they also split the salad. It was delicious, with the horseradish cream adding the right amount of kick. The pastas are all made in house. The radiatore was served with a bolognese and whipped ricotta. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce with the cheese was delicious. The bucatini pasta itself was also perfectly cooked, with a perfect egg yolk nestled on top (we were very pleased to see that they put a yolk on each plate). Sadly, the dish was too cold. And the coolness of the plate detracted from the taste. They take an approach to service that I personally don't like. The server took our order and then only stopped by a few times to check on us. That meant that there wasn't anyone telling the kitchen when to fire the courses. Or coordinating the bar and kitchen. We had planned to have a cocktail to start and wine with dinner. However, the cocktail came as we were just about finished with the salad. That gave us no time to order any wine, a missed opportunity for us and them. The entrees were brought by a runner before the salad and bread plates were removed. She stood there waiting for us to move the salad and bread plates so that she could put down the entrees. Then she turned to leave. But I called after her and asked if she would clear the plates from the prior courses. She made a very unhappy face Ava took 2 of the 4 dirty plates. The next runner took the order two. That's pretty poor service to me. The dessert menu looked ok, but strangely had virtually no Italian deserts. Had a lovely dinner on the outside covered patio last night. Service was very good except for timeliness of wine by the glass. Good selection of wines with broad price points - we shared a couple bottles of nine red blend - Paso Robles. Very nice. Started with the bread service - 2 types of good bread, roasted garlic head, butter and tapenade. Very tasty. Also had truffle fries - none left, and several had the sausage and white bean soup. The soup had great flavor and sausage (house made) tasty but was mostly broth with very few beans or pieces of sausage. Not what we were expecting. I had the Gorgonzola gnocchi - very tasty but a little skimpy on the sauce. We also had the lasagna (definitely add the bolognese sauce as it is a nine layer and might be a tad dry without). The shrimp linguini also tasty. The restaurant is very modern inside, bar that seats about a dozen at most looking out at patio, open kitchen. Parking behind can get pretty full on weekends as a burrito gallery is next door and lot is shared. read more

I've been coming to MidTown table for years, I have legit been a cheerleader for this restaurant. I came in tonight and sat at the bar- i recognized the staff behind the bar as ladies I've seen before that make great drinks and work hard. They greeted me with a smile and took my order but their struggle became evident as the night went on. There has been some major changes behind the bar (which do not include the staff- which are amazing) and the time for a drink has really increased. You could see the staff working hard but yet the wait for everyone was too much. Apologetic and truly working their ass off the staff behind the bar tried their best but it did not set up a good experience. I feel bad for them as they were set up for failure. This restaurant has been a staple and a great place for happy hour but with these changes it won't be able to continue. I hope management can figure out how to make this bar successful as happy hour is huge here and these bartenders are the main reasons we return week to week! I am aware of bar changes and this does not reflect this as these ladies have been here for years- I can truly say Mary and Elaina are phenomenal and not the issue. This is a change above them and I hope management fixes this before they lose more great bartenders! read more

This spot has a great vibe and is inviting for practically any guest. I ordered the beet salad with salmon off of the happy hour menu which was delicious! Then, I finished the meal off with the white chocolate pudding with vanilla ice cream which was just as yummy! An incredibly satiating meal for the evening and I'm glad to have received good customer service for the ladies serving at the bar. The truffle fries tasted like how they were supposed to. You can definitely taste the truffle because it's so annoying when you order truffle fries & it does not taste like truffle fries. Wings were also fresh & full of flavor! We also had the clam toast for appetizer & I would have to say this is hands down the best clam appetizer I've ever had. You can dip your bread in the sauce & it's sooo good. We also had the lasagna- such a huge serving for dinner & very saucy, cured meats & white pizza - perfect thickness where it's not too thin or too thick, but fresh enough that I have no idea which one I liked more. BEST HAPPY HOUR. This is my girls go-to spot for happy hour and she brings all our out of town guests here. The FOOD Always top notch and full of flavor. My favorite is the Agnolotti never had anything like it before. The DRINKS So many options and such a great happy hour Monday-Saturday 4-6. I'm hesitant to share this because I feel it's Jax best kept secret but the deserve the attraction. Our favorite is the gin gimlets - Passionfruit is the best but they have soo many flavors. The AMBIANCE 1000% the best spot to go for family-friendly ambiance. There is a play area for the kids with games and strong fans to keep you cool during the summer heat outside. They also have an indoor spot for more upscale feel dining, you can also see the kitchen so that's nice and comforting to see the safety measures in place. We always sit outside for a more relaxed feel and quieter for chatting. The SERVICE Midtown has the best of the best. I've never had bad service ever. They remember us and say hi even if they're not our server. We're so grateful for the staff! read more
