I would not take my car anyplace else Price fair, honest and friendly. Service is with integrity. We have had Ron service and do body repair for over 10 years read more

Honest and reliable auto shop, Ron is great and is a joy to work with. Will certainly go back!

Possibly my best auto shop experience ever. My car looks brand new (some front fender/bumper damage was repaired), it was ready when promised, and the hand-detailed exterior and interior car cleaning was a pleasant surprise. Ron was great to deal with - walked me through the estimate so I understood what each charge was for and the work was reasonably priced. Highly recommend! read more

I have gone to Ron and Midtown for years. For a variety of reasons my repairs have been minimal for the last seven years. I dropped my car off for a glitch in my backseat middle seatbelt. I didn't know what to expect but a $32.50 bill was even below my hopes. Ron is fair, honest and delivers the car on time. Knowing you are getting a fair price for good work is invaluable. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Ron (the owner) has gone above and beyond in taking care of my car. I've come here several times (for body work and for service) and had stellar experiences. Ron is warm, professional, and very honest in his recommendations. He did a major repair of a dent/scratch in my roof and it came out looking brand new. He doesn't take advantage of his customers like dealerships usually do and only recommends what actually needs to be done. He checked out my entire car and even fixed a scratch and buffed my headlights free of charge. Ron, you and your team are AWESOME and I look forward to working with you again! read more

Charged us $135 for a diagnostic on a 2005 Corolla. The car was brought in because it lost power steering. They had the car for three days and no repairs were done on it and they couldn't figure out what went wrong. They gave us a huge laundry list of stuff that needed to be fixed (all of which we new about before we dropped off the car). We pretty much had to pay $135 for the car to be picked up. read more

Super friendly, quick, easy, and painless. Car stuff always stresses me out but these guys eased all my worries and took care of my vehicle at an affordable rate. I highly recommend them! read more

I went to another auto body shop right around the corner from Midtown's first to get an estimate on some paint touch-ups my BMW needed. Midtown's estimate was about $400.00 less!! Ron was wonderful and accomodating, and I would recommend Midtown to anyone seeking great work for a great deal! read more

Roy at Midtown Auto Care did a very nice job fixing my Toyota Tundra. I needed the antenna fixed, a mirror replaced, and some dents removed. I had previously been told by other shops that these dents could not be removed. Still, they all came out and my truck is looking much better. Roy did the work in one day and gave me a very fair price. I will definitely go back (if needed). read more

I have known Ron for at least two decades now , & have actually become good friends . I NEVER let anyone else work on my car(s) because he is very trustworthy . Also , he does superior repairs , is quite friendly , & is very reasonable in his chargers . I have had Ron work on all my cars , from a Nissan to a Maserati, Ferrari, Lexus , etc. Never have I been disappointed in his final results . read more

Ron has been amazing and fixed several "fender benders" for me like they never even happened! Highly recommend!!

I have taken my car here to get inspected for the past two years. The first time, the guy at the front desk was very rude, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and came back this year. Again, he was very rude. Another customer came in while I was waiting and he was so rude to him that the customer just walked out. The guy at the front desk mumbled "so stupid" about him after he left. The technicians are quick and nice, but I'll take my business somewhere else next year. read more

I had spilled an entire bottle of windshield washer fluid in the trunk of my car, and despite having cleaned it thoroughly, there was still an odor. I took my car into Midtown Auto Care so that they could access the situation and carry out the best course of action. Eventually it was decided that they would shampoo the trunk and the carpet of my car. After their work, I have not noticed any offending odor. Ron was very helpful and I would go here again if I had another problem. read more

I have always been extremely pleased with the service and workmanship that Mid Town Auto. I take my cars there when they are out of warranty and find that the repairs are just as good as the dealership would do but for a heck of a lot less. Ron Harvey, the owner-manager, is super. He explains what needs to be done and why but also what is recommended but optional. My car is always ready when told it would be and is spic and span and clean inside and out. read more

These guys are AWESOME. Jason and Ron took wonderful care of me and my vehicle. Stayed in communication the whole time. Even fixed a few little things for me without charge. Very professional folks. It's also nice to know that they went above and beyond for a woman. Some car repair guys out there will take advantage of women......thinking they are dumb and don't know anything about cars. NOT THESE GUYS !!! I highly recommend them and will use their services again in the future. Clean, busy, thorough, professional, punctual and a good price. Just the way I like it !!! Kudos !!! read more

I have done business at this location several times. I would return to this shop for repairs, if needed, in a heartbeat. Absolutely amazing customer service and quality work. Business owner, Ron, is a competent and an understanding supervisor. This shop has a precious touch of a family business, and is also affordable and high quality. Excellent experience, outweighing a misfortune of a car rack. I highly recommend and I hope the word gets around. Patient and diligent work with insurance claims. Warranty is honored. Absolutely top notch. Trust this place. read more

I had nothing but great service at Midtown Auto Care. Ron was friendly and helpful and my car was done in a timely manner. As a female that has to take care of all car maintenance for her car, it can be hard to find a mechanic or auto place where you feel like you're not being taken advantage of, but I've found that at Midtown Auto Care. I felt that Ron and his team were upfront, honest, and trustworthy. The price was also great. I had to get my brakes repaired and they charged me almost $300 less than another place quoted me for the repairs. Highly recommend! read more

The owner and his staff are incredibly friendly, communicative, and professional. Everything I needed was done perfectly and in a timely manner, and all services were explained well. Prices were very reasonable. I'll definitely be making this my car care place from now on. read more

I got an estimate for paint work on my car. I asked for it in writing--he said it was not necessary. Went to pick up the car he was not there. The charge was 1.5Xs his estimate & paint job was unsatisfactory. I asked that he call me. No response. read more

Midtown Auto Care provides the best customer service and knowledgeable maintenance of any auto shop I have ever visited. I recently had body work done on my BMW X5. The owner, Ron, got me in right away, helped me file the claim with my insurance company and even played phone tag with the adjuster until all of my questions were answered. He explained the repair to me, took me to get my rental car (and waited with me while it was being prepared) and gave me a fair price on the work. The shop detailed my vehicle as a gift for using their service! And I had my BMW back in my garage in a timely manner, even considering it was the holidays. This is my second time working with Midtown, the first, I needed some upholstery work completed. They have a phone book of experts they can call for interior and specialty paint jobs so he got me in touch with the right guy and they did the work at the Midtown shop. You will be so pleased with Midtown Auto Care! They are THE BEST!! read more

My car (Nissan) had a problem not starting three times over the past 6 months period and took the car to this shop. Ronald (a staff in this shop) said he took care of the problem and paid over $500. The car ran fine for the next few weeks. My wife drove this car to Austin from Houston with her friend and the car stopped in the middle of freeway - a very dangerous situation. Luckily a good Samaritan helped her take the car to a nearby Toyota shop but the car started fine there and they could not find the problem. Anyway, Toyota advised her to take the car to Nissan. We drove to Nissan and found the problem to be a sensor. They replaced it and fixed it. I showed Nissan we already got services for the same problem from Midtown Auto Care and showed them the service items. But they said everything Midtown Auto Care did was just a regular maintenance service not solving this problem (car not starting and stopping). Few days later, we called Ronald and explained the situation but he became very defensive. He said everything he did was right and they could not find any problem with it (even though I clearly explain the problem). At that time he said the fuel additive will clean the tank and fix the problem. I said then why didn't you tell me at that time you could not find the problem and solve it so that we could have taken the car to a Nissan service center. Now he said he never told me that he fixed the problem. He did not apologize at all and only defended him. I thought they were good people and we have been going there for the past two years. We are not going back to them. read more
