Love this place; both Mr. Lang and Paul were great to work with. Paul didn't pressure me to get the problem fixed right away but fixed the "right now" fix in great time! Of course, I had to get the overall problem fixed but I was kept informed and didn't have to worry about them having my vehicle for a long period of time. read more

They do good work. It's not the cheapest but they tell it to you straight. They are a staple in 3rd ward

I have been doing business with Mr. Lang for over 20 years. Lang Master Car Care is simply the Best Mechanic Shop in this city. When my parents were alive I had their cars towed from Baytown to get repaired by Langs Master Car Care. He believes in Getting It Right The First Time. He is fair in pricing has been a Very Good Member of The Community around The Shop. May God Continue to Bless Langs Master Car Care. read more

Lang's Master Car Care # 1 - Auto Repair Near Me - Houston, Texas

Earlier this year my husband backed our car into the house (the house won). Needed to repair the bumper and back quarter panel. Lang's was reasonably priced and the only place that had availability the same week (other places I called were booked a month out). They did a good job - no issues with paint not matching and it was completed in 2 days. read more

Lang's staff were always welcoming and accommodating while having to go back and forth with my insurance claim. Their prices seem reasonable. I'd definitely bring my cars in for all needed services. read more

My first time going, here was the last month for a motor mount change. The price was reasonable and they were quick. I highly recommend this Place if you need something done to your car. read more

We have been using his service since 2014. They will never trick you or charge extra. It's very rare to find a good car shop.

My car was returned with additional damage after being left here for a repair. I do not recommend. They will not accept fault, even after showing them in person and pictures. They say how it looks is "normal". read more

Fair quotes, awesome quality. I've been going for 20 years. Respected family, community gem.

The ONLY place I trust to have my cars worked on! Excellent!!! Jeep, Mercedes, Land Rover, & Cadillac Escalade have all been under the care of Paul & family. read more

I was involved in a minor accident which left scratches all over my bumper. Luckily, I was referred by my SO to get this fixed right away. Lang is super friendly and was able to take my car in last minute. I left my car at his auto shop on Monday morning and it was already done the following day. I was so surprised with how quick turnaround time was. Lang and his team did a terrific job repairing my bumper, it looks like brand new! I highly recommend coming here for all of your body shop needs. read more

The absolute best mechanic shop in Houston. Honest, professional, fast and efficient. I recommend this mechanic to my Mother. 5 star

The guys here were very friendly and honest. They gave me a very accurate time estimate and decent price. Mainly, I look for a trustworthy mechanic, and this is definitely the right place. My car got caught in the flood a bit, which broke my cooling fans. These guys checked my car and suggested I file a claim to my insurance. When I told them I didn't have full coverage, they did their work and tested everything. Luckily the fans were the only things that seem to have been affected. Lang also offered me advice to get the smell out from my carpets. He said to go to a car wash station, vaccuum out all the water, get some baking soda mix for carpets, and vaccuum again. Overall, I felt I could trust them, and that's really the most important thing. I've been lied to many times by other shops because people think they can take advantage of a little Asian girl who probably doesn't know anything. Not here! read more

Lang's Master Car Care # 1 - Super cool tire clock - Auto Repair Near Me - Houston, Texas

Paul always take care of me and gets the job done on all my cars from a simple oil change to checking out my check engine light on my cars.

After hours of researching where to take my car to inspect my brake pads, I couldn't pass up Lang's after reading all the great reviews. I'm usually EXTREMELY skeptical of mechanics given past experiences. Lang's did a visual inspection of my brakes and told me everything looks fine and that I wouldn't need to change my front pads for another 3-6 months depending on my usage. I was extremely pleased by the honesty. Will definitely be doing business with them again and recommending them to friends and family! We need more honest, family-owned businesses like this in our city! read more

VERY positive experience. My check engine light in my 2001 Camry was on. It was also running sluggish and misfiring, etc. First I went to Midtown Automotive around the corner, based on the reviews that I read. When I got there, they seemed to be too busy to even act like they were paying attention to me while I described the symptoms. Plus they didn't know how long my diagnostic test would be. One hour would be $89, but the guy behind the counter didn't know if it would be twice that if it ran OVER one hour. I politely left. I went to Lang's Master Car Care and they did everything right. They even informed me about the Drive Clean program for qualified applicants (under 31k if single, failed emissions test with check engine light on are the main criteria). The voucher is worth 600 dollars. They did all of the paperwork and faxing for me. All I had to do was bring my 2007 income tax copy. When my voucher arrived in the mail, they ordered the parts and the next morning I took the car in. (December 3rd, to be exact). .......7 hours later, they called to tell me that my car was ready and like new! They did a major tuneup and used all factory parts, unclogged the egr valve and replaced some sensors...plus a fuel injection flush. A 677 dollar job...only cost me 50 dollars out of pocket. My car passed the emissions test and my car runs like brand new...even though I got it used lol. ....and no more 'check engine' light glowing in my face lol. They solved the problem. I highly recommend this shop. He's been helping out people in the community for a long time and now I see why his customers are so loyal. Two Thumbs Up! read more

came here for an inspection with Dustin (funny, friendly guy)--very friendly and honest group of people here. Seems like it's getting harder and harder to find these types of shops with genuine humans in Houston as the city grows like crazy. This is how car service should be and I wish them the best of luck --this is how business should be done. read more

Admittedly...I'm a bit jaded and I have a hard time when it comes to finding someone for services such as auto mechanic work. My car, however, was not really in a position for me to wait, so I perused Yelp (as usual) and came across Lang's Master Car Care. I've likely passed this spot over a million times in my lifetime and never gave it more than a passing thought... I hate I waited so long. Mr. Lang and Paul were not only patient and knowledgeable but incredibly considerate and kind as they worked on my car during the busy holiday season. Going as far as making sure that we priced our everything prior to moving forward and telling me what items could wait and be done at a later date if I chose. In addition, I had a small issue with the the car I was borrowing as I waited for mine to be repaired and Mr. Lang kindly took time to talk with me and take a look at it when I made an impromptu visit...even making me feel more at ease about the damage I'd potentially done to the borrowed vehicle, easing my anxiety a bit. Great service, great people. I'll be back! read more

Trustworthy and reasonable. My grandmother has been coming here for years and so has my father. Whenever I don't want to deal with dealership foolishness, I come to Mr. Lanh. His son has also started stepping up and he does a good job as well. His father is teaching him well. The place is busy but this man cares and will be honest with you. People in this community respect him and he's earned every ounce of it. read more

I pass this place all the time headed to campus and always wondered about the many cars on the premises. A classmate recommended I give them a try. Mr. Lang is patient, knowledgeable and all about giving great customer service. After just a few minutes here, I realize why this place stays busy all the time. What I thought was going to take them all day to replace brakes and struts actually turned out to be a 3.5 hr job and I was even given a $50 discount. I appreciate the diligence and explaining the maintenance I needed as well as pricing. I will be coming back for all my auto care needs. You won't be disappointed by bringing your vehicle here. read more

Had to get my mom's car inspected. Lang was able to squeeze me in right before closing.

Where do I start! I would first like to start off by giving a HUGE THANK YOU to Lang's Master Car Care for doing such a great job on my car and for being so helpful. Mr. Lang is a super honest man and saves his customers thousands of dollars! That is what he did for me. In 15 minutes Mr. Lang educated me on how to deal with dealerships and cars in general. I took my 2010 Challenger to the dealership and to make a long story short they quoted me $4,000. I was so frustrated. I owe that much on the car! I was looking to just go ahead and trade it in and get a new car. Fortunately, a colleague recommended Lang's Master Car Care and by doing so I saved so much money. My car was fixed in a day and it runs like new! It feels great and just runs so smooth. Words cannot express my gratitude! Again, thank you very much. I am now a life long customer! read more

I'm a college student with lots of loans and Mr. Lang goes above and beyond to help his customers. He went out of his way to tell me about a voucher to help pay for my car repairs and super friendly. Also, gave me a reasonable quote on my car repairs. Genuine human being. Would definitely recommend anyone to come here for any car issues. read more

Master Car Care in 3rd Ward has been my husband's mechanic sense sense. When you find a good mechanic, you stick with them. That was a lesson I bought about 7 years ago when we moved to Stafford and just tried a mechanic around the corner. $500 later the car still wasn't fixed and we took it to Mr. Lang and he fixed it for half the price. And he continues to do great work and as long as his doors are open we will drive from Stafford to 3rd Ward every time. read more

NEED MORE STARS!!!!!! Five Stars are not enough to describe my experience w/ Master Car Care (Lang, Paul & staff)!!! I took my truck to Lang after it kept shutting off and I smelled a strong odor of gasoilne. Normally I would have taken it to my mechanic of 16 years in Friendswood. Yup that's how loyal (and stupid it turns out) I was as I would drive my vehicles ALL THE WAY to Friendswood for servicing because I was convinced they were trustworthy, fairly-priced and competent. The only reason I didn't take my truck to Friendswood mechanic in this instance was because it was not driveable and the tow would have been too costly. Therefore, I had my trucked towed to Master Car Care because it's literally a stone's throw from my house. What I soon discovered was shocking!!! Lang called me shortly after having my truck towed there and asked me "who worked on my truck last?" I replied "the same mechanic in Friendswood I've been taking it to since 1998. Why?" Lang went on to tell me that they had installed the wrong fuel pressure regulator which caused it to fall out and as a result gasoline was spraying everywhere underneath my truck (and the reason for the strong odor of gasoline I experienced when I was attempting to start it earlier in the day). Now Lang could have just repaired the problem and charged me and would have been perfectly ethical in doing so, however, this guy is unbelievable!!! Lang insisted that I take the truck back to my Friendswood mechanic and have them do the job correctly at no cost to me. So that's exactly what I did and my "trusted" Friendswood mechanic was at a loss to explain their shoddy work and weakly blamed it on their parts supplier providing a defective part, when in fact the part wasn't defective, it was just the WRONG PART that didn't fit correctly and the reason it just eventually fell out of the fuel line spewing gasoline everywhere!! I was very lucky that I wasn't seriously injured as a result of this unforgivable error on the part of my FORMER mechanic in Friendswood. Now I will be taking all of my vehicles for the next 16 years and BEYOND to Master Car Care. Can't thank Lang enough!! read more

I have taken my car to Lang at Master Car Care for many years now. I constantly compare prices because I don't have alot of money. Not only does he and his staff do a great job, but his prices are always really reasonable. He is also actually honest, which is rare in this industry.
