GO-TO PLACE FOR YOUR LANDSCAPING NEEDS…read more Went here to check out stones for driveway before ordering online. Went up to service counter and the young woman was very sweet. She gave me 2 plastic zip lock bags, marking them up with the name of my stone choices, then directed me to drive around back were I could get some samples. Thank you very much. They have samples of what they sell all around the showroom. I especially liked their stone facade samples, as we're considering a fireplace project. Excellent customer service and great array of products. Worth a visit.

Wanted to add another shed so we thought we would check out Post Woodworking…read more We had a good idea what we wanted and went there to talk to them. They ask you what you are looking for and started a design so you can see what the shed will look like. I know I wanted a big shed,14X22 and a ton of big insulated windows as I wanted to winterize it. At the end of the design we had a shed that we were VERY happy with. We ordered it and it ONLY took approx 3 weeks to be delivered! They brought it out to the house on a trailer. It was partially assembled and took no time to build...It was exactly what I asked for and VERY HI QUALITY. These people are 100% professional emailing us all along the way. We even wanted a specific size window and found some at Cyr Lumber. The salesman at Post Woodworking went a looked at them to let us know if they would work, and then we bought them and had delivered to Post. We shopped at two places, one in Methuen Mass and also at Reeds Ferry in Hudson NH and noticed the quality of the build and materials used were not as good as Post Woodworking! We could not be happier.

After…read moreuncovering a 100ft granite ledge we knew it wasn't going to be a 'square pool', or an easy back yard to work with. But we knew in the end we would have a one of a kind area. After multiple meetings with Reeds Ferry (whom were only a mere 3 miles down the road) we knew it would be an arduous company to work with, overpriced and lacking the quality we we were looking for. It took one meeting with Karen in their office to realize the passion and ability to be able to put a 'square peg, in a round hole'. We had a lot of special asks, all we heard was; "yes, we can do that".... Easy to do business with and would do business with again!

I just gave a go ahead on the latest estimate and haven't heard a thing. So, it goes nowhere. So now they have lost about $8,000. Something is definitely off with them right now.

This was largely due to the…read morecustomer service provided by Al Mazza, whose last day -- just found out today -- is today due to retirement. (Best wishes again, Al!) In the spring, I ordered decking for my condo. Al was very helpful and patient with me as he helped me figure out Exactly what I needed for my order since I had never done this before. Shortly after I placed my original order, I changed my mind and decided to order more boards to do a more thorough deck repai/replacement. Again, Al was very patient, kind, understanding, and helpful to me as he needed to add onto my order. Later in the summer when I discovered that I needed to exchange a few boards that were slightly defective, And replace them in order to finish the project, Al was very accommodating. He arranged for the boards to be picked up, he applied a credit for those boards to my account, and explained very thoroughly and apologetically that the fact that the replacement and additional Boards I needed were on back order and he wasn't exactly sure when they would be in. He said that he would be in touch with me again when he knew more. As promised, al followed up with me a few weeks later to make sure that I still wanted the boards. I told him that I did, and he said that again they were still back ordered but he was hoping to see them within the next few weeks. I just received a phone call from Al today telling me that the boards were in and they can be delivered to my home on Tuesday. Because of my experience, I plan to do more business with this company in the spring for a different project. Al has set the bar for customer service pretty high. I am hopeful that the remaining and/or new employees will provide me with the same stellar customer service that I received from Al Mazza. jp of Fremont, NH

I would stay away from Jackson Lumber of Raymond NH at all costs. I;ve had several dealings with…read morethem over the last 7 years and all of them have been handled extremely poorly. The last incident just occurred last week. Several of my windows were leaking between the panes. I started a warranty claim to get the lower sashes replaced. Worked with a guy "Chris" and he tried to get them but was unsuccessful. The sashes did arrive at my house 2 months later which was fine. Communication was fine at first. I was still working with him and "Chris" said we would try this again after I supplied pictures and measurements. The window replacements I paid for magically showed up in 2 weeks?? I had worked with "Chris from Oct 2019 thru January 2020. After January all communication stopped. Never once did he text or email to let me know that he stopped the claim. He never reached out and after 4 months I contacted him again for the 8th time and he said contact the manufacturer and its not his problem. I was hoping that the poor customer service environment at Jackson would have changed from 7 years ago. Sadly it hasn't. I have had 2 other other interactions with Jackson Lumber in 2012 that ended just as poorly. I'm not sure if the unprofessional atmosphere at this location is company wide or limited to this one location. Go ANYWHERE else.
