I walked in and saw that both people stationed at the front of the store to greet and assist customers were both on their phones. I went to look for my item and couldn't find it. I went back to seek help but they were both on their phones. I went back and seared through other isles and departments. Nothing. I went back to the front of the store to ask for help. I've had copies of keys there that work EVERY TIME, unlike the big box stores. I recently went for an electrical junction box--took 15 seconds to find it, and they helped me sort out other parts I needed. Heck, they even took the time to help me with a table lamp rewiring project! If I went to one of the box stores, I'd still be there looking for parts. Absolute nightmare. I walked in on the 28th with the intention of surprising my mom with a new…read morewasher and dryer. I wanted to $1,000 down but was denied the financing but the sales associate told me about the lease to buy program. As much as I hate leasing it sounded pretty fare. I was misled by the associate that It would essentially be $2500 at the highest. I purchased the GE combo washer / dryer a value $1,999. Between Delivery, old appliance removal and installation my total came too the $ 2381.45. The price I was given Was $59.99 for 48 months a little less considering I was under the $2500 So I wasn't to concerned with the amount of interest. In this point I still wanted to pay $1,000 right off but the associate told me to wait a few months to avoid hurting my credit. The Applianced arrived on time and I really like the GE washer and dryer. I had decided I would just stick with the lease and pay it off in 4 years and use the $1,000 toward other debt. A day passed I got an email from the leasing company Lowe's uses Progressive leasing and saw my monthly payments of $474.80 over 12 months totaling $5,697 with the option of paying of in 60 days or being locked in at that price. Hours of phone calls back and 4th through Lowe's and and progressive ( an Indian call center I should mention). With no answers or help started with the Seabrook Lowe's was told some dude Mike would call back never did. Lowe's national customer service who set up a fake case number for me and passed me around through departments like a chew toy. Progressive I would have had more help from a brick walll. Said the monthly payments could not be changed. Finally took a ride back to Seabrook to customer service who was friendly but also couldn't offer me an explanation and basically said the don't know how the associate came up with those numbers. So basically just pushed a misleading sale me.they did tell me to return in it luckily I was still in the window they will pick it up Tomorrow and progressive will be notified within 24 hours. I really liked this appliance the two days I've actually had it but unfortunately it seems Lowe's is the only company with this model. Online on Lowe's website it's available with purchase from Affirm at a fair and honest price. I scheduled for pick up at a closer Lowe's for this upcoming Wednesday. Pay attention to the reviews on the Seabrook location 2 Stars is being generous. I wouldn't even buy a box of screws here.

It really doesn't make sense to me and honestly, I don't believe their comments. I've never experienced, nor even witnessed any issues as such that would warrant a single start rating. Home Depot advertises big discounts, but the reality is that they are selling you last years' leftovers and quite often, you wait weeks longer than they say it will take only to find out that your paper is out of stock and not available anyway. We went here after we had three separate paper orders at HD fall through the cracks for various reasons and we have never looked back. First, the service is outstanding. They are friendly, helpful, and know their business. Second, their prices are very competitive... much better than we expected.... comparable to any discounts offered by the larger retailers. And finally, they are close to home, right here in town, and they bend over backward to get you exactly what you want. They have some really neat accessories, and while the fabrics are a bit pricey, to be able to get the fabric that matches your paper is huge and you generally don't need that much anyway for just a decorative element. The personal service we got was a breath of fresh air after the nightmare of ordering from a store that consistently let us down in this area. If I have any complaint at all, it's that the signage made it hard to find them. But they have plenty of parking (around the back of the store, where the main entrance is) and once I figured out where they are, they are very, very convenient and easy to get to. And check out the bargain area out back..... we actually found one of the papers we had ordered but not been able to get at HD ("out of stock") in their clearance bin. It doesn't get any better than that!
