The total cost was approximately $60,000.00. He was able to finish the work on time while my wife and I spent the winter in Florida. He kept us informed of the progress of renovation with messages, photos and emails. His work was neat and tidy and he built a frame for temporary curtains for us while waiting for installation of the glass shower. He did repair for us when we sold our home in Wellesley in April-May 2017 which was a $20,000.00 project. Because of his good work, we asked him renovate our recently purchased home in Jamaica Plain. I have had a slew of home repairs including electrical work and an HVAC renovation with extended duct work. All of that left my home with many holes in the walls and exposed ducts. Ronaldo came out before the HVAC renovation and together we speculated about where the new ducts would be and where they would need to be framed and walled in. He also reviewed all of the holes made by electricians. My walls are made out of horse hair plaster, plaster and regular drywall. He gave me an itemized estimate that allowed me to remove services to adjust the price for my budget. For example, panting was separate so I could decide if I wanted to paint on my own. Once the HVAC work was done, Ronaldo came back to my home to reassess. My spouse was present and enjoyed collaborating with him to determine the scope of work. Ronaldo carefully explained his timeline. The first day would be preparation: laying down protective paper on the floors and framing around the exposed ducts. The second day would be a crew of five guys patching holes and installing drywall. Ronaldo's crew were all very polite and respectful. They wore masks inside and made conversation with me. They made me feel very comfortable. Also, Ronaldo was kind and showed my spouse how to patch holes. Ronaldo offered to walk us through any questions we had in the future if we decide to patch holes ourselves. Ronaldo also sent a guy out for a third day to install crown molding around one of the new ducts in the bedroom. It was SOOOOO nice of him to do that! We came away feeling as if we could be good friends.
