Nothing beats a true professional. I was given four embroidered pieces by an elderly relative and…read morewanted to frame these new family heirlooms, but I didn't know where to start and how to keep it within budget. I went to a different frame store at first, where the first (and much repeated) question they asked was "how much do you want to spend?" That's a very difficult question to answer when you know nothing about framing. At Stone Framing, David never asked that question. Instead, he listened to what I was looking for, and when I said I wanted something simple and affordable yet lovely, he recommended working with in-store frames and custom matting the embroidery to create a beautiful end result that was still within budget. Each framed piece cost me less than $30. David also has a great eye for color and he helped pick out mattes that accented the unique designs perfectly. The whole process was quick, pleasant and just great! Also, they were finished in less than 2 days! I will definitely come here for all of my future framing needs. Highly recommended!

Stan came over, saw my situation and right away knew exactly what I want. He saw that it was very narrow and said he can make it a little wider. Well, I got a couple of other quotes from others and I knew after that Stan was the right guy for the job. His numbers are very reasonable and I can tell he knew what he was doing. Stan has a great crew who showed up early and worked professionally. Good guys! The stairs, landing and the masonry work came out perfect!

Stan was highly communicative throughout the whole process, with daily updates and always conferring on what work would need to be done and when. A great experience and would definitely recommend!

Wow, what a bad experience we had with Vineyard Landscaping. Unprofessional, shoddy work, non-existent follow up, never answers his phone or calls you back. We constantly had to hound them to come over and work on the lawn. There was never a set schedule. We never knew if they were coming or going. Often times, the owner was not on site so the workmanship was lackadaisical and untrained. Leaving our front yard looking worse than when they got there! Snow removal was even worse!! When we complained that the walk hadn't been cleared properly, the owner simply got mad at US, complaining that he had too much to do! Not that we were ever given a discount or anything. His bookkeeping is his biggest flaw, though. We constantly had to show him that we had already paid bills that he said were unpaid. After not re-contracting with him, he subpoenaed us to appear in Small Claims Court for a bill we had already paid. I tried for 3 months to rectify the situation with him, letting him know that we had proof of payment. The ONE time he returned my phone call he said to me... "Send me what you've got, I've got so many accounts I cant be expected to keep this all straight." Seriously? So we schlepped down to Small Claims Court with all of our cancelled checks in hand and guess who didn't show up? And we were one of two cases he had brought to court that day! He tried to do this to our neighbor, as well, who had also just fired him. TRUST ME ON THIS. STAY AWAY. THIS PERSON DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS.
