AVOID THIS SHOP! Terrible service. Replaced hoses they did not connect properly costing me a tow to get my car to a reputable repair shop. Called owner spoke with Marcos and he was rude, argumentative, refused to admit the work was not done properly on my car yet my car overheated and needed to be towed after receiving it back from his shop. I had a screw on my tire so I heard about this place that one of my family members recommended me and I had a really bad experience like customer service was horrible, I was waiting for almost two hours for someone to come out and check my tire. Also the mechanic tells me that he couldn't do anything about it and that I need to buy a new tire when they shouldn't of just checked it at the beginning instead of wasting my time. Next I decided to go to Pep Boys and they said that it was an easy fix and my tire was in great condition, it was done in under 1 hour so don't bother waisting your time at this place unless you want to be lied too. read more

Are companies with such MODUS OPERANDI even certified to operate? Where does Compliance, Safety and Liability stand? Where is the hard worker's consumer rights? We were literally ripped off; my daughter's life put at risk; the car is stopped for 30 and nobody at MIDAS care! This place is The most untrustworthy place I have ever been. My daughter took her car for a manager's special and was almost killed, because they did/didn't something that made the car irresponsive and completely shut down at her on the road. We had no support from customer's services and after towing the car back at our own expenses, Marcos (the owner of the shop) said the problem was being fixed but he recommended a starter replacement ($120). We go back the next day and he charges $400 and the car is still not working. After 30 days the car is still stopped, for after a manager's special that costed us $1300.00 we ran out of budget. Customer's service was contacted many times and all they do is say; "we'll forward your claim to the upper management", and never returned. read more

I took my 2018 Honda Ridgeline to Midas for an full synthetic oil change and tire rotation. They called me say it was done but wanted to know if they could change the engine and cabin air filters. I told them that I had already changed those filters recently. I went to pick it up and asked for reassurance that the tires had been rotated. The cashier assured me that they had been rotated. I told him that it will be easy for me to know because the right front tire has a slow leak. A week later I discovered that the right front tire was still leaking so I called Midas and asked why they didn't rotate the tires. I was told that the tread wear depth was insufficient for rotation. I noted that the worksheet indicates adequate tread depth and asked why I was told that the tires were rotated? The clerk told me he would have the manager give me a call but that never happened. Now I'm wondering whether they actually sold me fully synthetic oil? read more

If no star was an option that would be my rating. Do not get a credit card with THIS midas! Spent over 2000 on my car to get the service it needed and was told it would be a year with no interest If I spend more then 1000. They had told synchrony bank 6 months and now I am stuck with only 6 months of no Interest. The owner Marco refuses to call synchrony bank to fix the issue. In my opinion I honestly feel bad for the corporation this midas give it a horrible reputation. My car has also made a horrible squeak since I've had the shock and struts replaced and once again the owner reduces to fix it. Please do not let yourself be a victim to this midas read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel it would be a disservice to the general public if I do not leave a review for the horrible brake service we got from here (which almost resulted in a horrible car accident). I would give this place zero stars if I could. My boyfriend and I took his 2000 Nissan Xterra here because the brakes were squeaking and we knew it needed new ones. They talked us into upgrading to top of line brakes and rotors, which ended up costing about $600.00. Given the excellent warranty, we decided it was a good investment and would save us money in the long run. A couple of days after the service however, we started to notice a funny noise when braking - it sounded like something was grinding. By the Sunday following the service, the grinding noise was worse and there was occasional jerking when braking. As Monday was a holiday, we decided to take it in first thing on Tuesday morning. We didn't realize how bad the problem was until we were driving on Monday and THE BRAKES STOPPED WORKING altogether! Thankfully we were able to avoid an accident, but we knew at that point that something was seriously wrong with the new "top of the line" brakes we had just shelled out $600.00 for. My boyfriend took it back in to Midas on Tuesday morning and asked them to look at it. They said that the master cylinder had gone bad and he needed to replace it for $450.00. They took zero responsibility for the incident as if it was a huge coincidence that the brakes suddenly stopped working after a full service that they did. I told my boyfriend to hold off and did a little research. I found that others have had similar problems and many mechanics suggested that it could have something to do with not properly bleeding the brakes or adjusting the calibers or brake boots/shoes at the time of service. I didn't know what any of that meant, but I felt it was worth it to get a second opinion. My boyfriend then took it to another shop for a second opinion who then confirmed my suspicions and said that the brakes had not been installed properly. They bled the brakes and adjusted the calibers and brake boots/shoes for $69.00 - the master cylinder was fine and did not need replacing. We felt totally robbed by Midas but relieved that the other shop was able to solve the problem for significantly less. Don't go to Midas unless you have a death wish. If you do find yourself there, at least get a second opinion if they try to quote you on a large service that you "need." read more

My '97 Honda Civic needed a new muffler...but they tried to upsell me on a new exhaust system to the tune of $700.00!! Now I'm no girl-mechanic, but all them's pipes looked good to me, and if I look you in the eye and ask you if it's going to be a road hazard if I don't replace all those extra *rusty* pipes, I expect an honest answer...not the run-around... Did my research online and I knew how much, how long it would take to fix it etc...After quoting 2 hours, 3 1/2 hours... having my car for more than 7 HOURS, many phone calls regarding when I could expect my car to be done, excuses about how they had to go pick up my part, (HELLO, you are a MUFFLER shop and you don't carry a muffler to fit my car?!!)...amazing when your husband shows up at the shop after a hard day at work your car is going to be done in 15 minutes... I needed a new battery for my car so I came to see if they had one in stock. They did, at a better price than the last place I had gone to so I decided to buy. I had read up on the battery and how it was not as easy to change as your old school battery swap on older cars so they suggested I should bring it in instead. Went here for an oil change and tire rotation. I was there last customer of the day. When I left the shop I realized my pressure light was on for my tires. It hey we're closed on Sunday so I thought I'd call in Monday so they could adjust the pressure. They claimed that I'd have to pay for them to look at it and. That I have a leak over the phone. I went in to have a slow leaking tire repaired. When he did the initial inspection he told me that it would be better if I just replaced all four of my tires because they weren't in good condition. I told him I could not afford to buy new tires right now. He then told me that I could finance them with Midas and that I really needed new tires. A real pressure sell. I reiterated that I just wanted the one tire repaired. I left my car there and two hours later I got a call telling me that by law they could not repair my tire because the tread was too low, but they could sell me new tires. When I came to pick my car up he told me he was just trying to prevent me having a blowout...scare tactics. I drove from there to another tire place where they came out to inspect my tires, pointed out the nail that was causing the leak and took out a tool they used to measure my tread and then repaired it. They did not suggest I buy new tires but when I asked about it they told me I definitely have another six months at least.
