I came here for a coolant flush thinking it was simple enough to just go to the place down the street from me. They did it quickly which was great, but six weeks later I was traveling on a weekend when I noticed a scraping noise coming from the bottom of my car. Eventually I realized that the splash shield on the bottom of my car was coming loose. When I got home and looked under my car I discovered that the entire splash guard had been reattached with zip ties. I change my own oil. I know the only people who would have removed my splash shield since the last time I changed my oil would have been Midas. I left a complaint with Midas corporate and got a call from the Sharonville location and they made excuses as to why they used zip ties and didn't make a note of it on my maintenance records. They said they'd get back to me after they talked to the guy who worked on my car, but it's been months and they've never called me back. They aren't reliable, and I won't be going back again. read more

my car was running hot and i didnt know what the problem was. not only did they charge me for parts and labor for items they thought would fix the problem they never did. after a month of having my car they couldnt find a resolution to my car running hot. the troubleshooting they did was incorrect and they didnt do anything but put new parts on my car that i probably didnt even need. thousands of dollars later they return my car and give up diagnosing it and blame me for not having "enough money." im very frustrated with this crew and their top mechanic. they havent done anything to help me and only put me further into the hole financially. highly upset and will never be going to midas ever again. read more

When other tire stores where not willing to help me, they committed to stay until they knew I could get home safely. They gave me good tires at a reasonable cost and got me out the door quickly. These guys are great. 'Trustworthy' and 'mechanics' don't always go hand-in-hand, but twice now I have taken my car in thinking I needed something done, instructed them to do something, and had them call me and tell me it was unnecessary/the actual issue was a much cheaper fix. First time, I told them to redo the entire rear drums; they called and told me I only needed the drums resurfaced. Cost a third as much as what I had instructed them to do. Second time, just now, I dropped the car off for an oil change and told them to do the front brake pads and rotors. Another shop had told me the brakes were shot and needed replacement immediately. Midas called me and said they are fine... still have 30-40% life left, so will need replacement at some point but no reason to do now. They've earned my trust. read more

I definitely recommend this place if you need something basic done, such as an oil change or alignment. They've changed my oil on multiple occasions with no hassle other than the typical attempts to upsell, which is to be expected. However, my last visit is the reason why I'm writing this. I'm fairly knowledgeable regarding most sedans and took mine in for a brake job, knowing for a fact that the brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. After inspecting my car, an employee came back with bad news: not only did I have to have those replaced, but the calipers as well. Caliper replacement is extremely expensive so I took their estimate and thanked them. However, something didn't seem right to me so I did a bit of research online before taking my car to another shop. After looking at my brakes, the employees informed me that my calipers were perfectly fine and in no way needed to be replaced. Also, their quote for the brake job was less than Midas, by about $70. So I went with them and all is well now. Mechanics who make up imaginary repairs is nothing new to anyone, and as a whole I don't think Midas is a bad company. However, I didn't appreciate being lied to. Bottom line: whether you take your car here or elsewhere, research the potential repairs you may need first and get multiple quotes. Doing this saved me nearly $400. read more

Great group of guys on my visit. Manager Mike and 2 other Techs, Alex and Colin were super helpful and very efficient. These men went right to work on my vehicle. The phones never stopped ringing and customers continued to come in the door. They could use more help from the owner or corporate. 6 bays and only 3 guys working.
