Drop my wife's car off at 930ish for a simple oil change. At 235 in the afternoon I have yet to find out when it will be done. They have also tried to tell me that the same car needs back breaks and that a different car I brought on another day needed struts and shocks which I found out on both occasions that neither were needed so that was a lie, so they try and rob you. Don't go here. While I've had a positive experience at another Midas, this particular location found issues with my car which weren't actually there. Went in for an oil change and ended up not getting it because they claimed my oil pan was stripped, tires were shot, among other problems. Went back to the local mechanic around the corner and he promised after doing the oil change that my car was fine and safe to drive. I had a bad experience and would recommend you go to a local guy before going to a chain oil-change place, despite the great coupons! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I purchased a groupon for $45 covering a synthetic oil change for my benz. My lady was nice enough to take it in while I was at work and she was charged $130 in addition to the $45 from the groupon,, on the itemized bill all Sean did was credit the $45 i spent for the groupon towards the service? plus I was leaking oil. I went to midas to discuss and Sean was not only unhelpful but his attitude was completely unprofessional. He didnt want to deal with me saying "he had a long day". He did!? I wanted to know why he wouldnt honor his groupon and I was charged a total of 175 and he had no explanation. He said i should call corporate. I will Sean and will never allow any of my car buddys and all their wives step foot in a midas again. read more

Michael was a great sales rep, but if you're going to Midas for good service and low prices do not go to this Midas! They overcharge you and try to oversell you and everything about your car they charge you hidden fees for every little thing about your car, if you have the money to make you pay if you don't they won't doesn't sound like a good business model to me, sad because Michael was amazing but the company he works for has no integrity so I will no longer be using Midas and neither will my network read more

I went in complaining about a rattle in front end of car, they diagnosed it as front sway bar issue, gave me a quote and had it fixed that same day! I also get my oil changed there and they never try to sell me anything I don't need, which I greatly appreciate. I have lived in Seaford over 20 years and prefer to give my business to local merchants. We WILL NOT be returning to Midas in Seaford on Sunrise Highway. $19.99 for an oil change and tire rotation is what I pay when I bring it to Wantagh Ave Station. I had to walk to pick up so it was convenient for me to use Midas today. Big sign and coupon on line for $19.99 oil change and tire rotation. My bill was $34.75. $29.99 for the oil change I have a CRV which they consider an SUV! BIG JOKE and $2.00 for labor on top of that!!! The guy Brian in my opinion is rude and not very customer service oriented. Needless to say we will NOT be returning to Midas for anything. read more

I knew my 2006 TSX had a leak in the exhaust and I knew if I took it back to Acura (where I usually go) it would cost much more than a thousand. I decided to look online to find a place that dealt with mufflers. I saw where Midas in Seaford got very good reviews so I thought I would give it a try. Am I so happy I did. Not only did Raza look at my car right away he showed me what had to be done and gave me an estimate for the work. It was much less than I thought it would be. Raza knew it was my only car so put a rush on the job and I had car back by end of the day. Going to Midas in Seaford was such a positive experience that I will no longer go to Acura for servicing my car. Here's a bit of advice when dealing with this repair shop and deciding to "accept" their quote. First, find out how many hours of labor the repair requires (they charge $120 per hour). Then, add in what they will charge for parts. If that total doesn't come close to their quote, then walk away. I recently paid $312 for a $125 part because I didn't do that. My car takes synthetic oil, which means you change the oil every 5,000 miles. That being said, I came here 2x for oil changes. Had no problem that 1st time. Came back again when my car needed another oil change. Thought I had no problem again...until a "low oil alert" icon came up on my dashboard when my car should've still had another 2,000-2,500 miles to go until the next oil change. I never had that before & I haven't that since. I should have called & complained, why else would that alert come up this 1 & only time unless something was not done/not done correctly?! Absolutely horrible experience !!!!! Brought my car in there because I had a Groupon for oil change and needed a new tire. The tire was patched and couldn't be repaired so they ordered a new tire. While waiting I got another flat on the same passenger side. All of this was noted in the paperwork. After closing my car in the shop without notifying me, the following day I picked up my car only to get home and see that the tire originally brought it in to repair was still flat!!!!!! The shop replaced my front 2 tires instead of the two passenger side tires!' The shop closed so I had no car the following day. When I brought it back the mechanic says he was told to replace the front two. My question. ???? How do you let a car out of shop fixing tires without checking all the tire pressure and why change a tire that is brand new!! The car is a 2017!!! On top of making this inconvenient situation, I received no call from the manager Sean who was not there when I went back to apologize. This is a place for cheap local repairs and that's it. took my car here for an oil change and inspection.... I was told inspection will fail unles I get my breaks done.. (300.00) I had them fail my inspection, took it to another inspection station and it passed... I inquired about the breaks with the new mechanic and they said they have atleast another 5000 miles on them..... When in to Midas for a state inspection and the employee Kevin that was inspecting my car told me I had to replace the two front axles of my SUV and said he had to perform it or he wouldn't pass the vehicle for state inspection. When he showed me what was supposedly broken, it was a dust boot over the axle and not the axle itself. I explained to him that it wasn't necessary and he told me he was qualified to say so and I wasn't. I told him to show me online at the official government dmv website that this was mandatory and he was unable to and argued with me about that my truck couldn't leave until I had them repair the truck. After many arguments he finally let me have my truck. I went to another certified mechanic down the street and had him inspect the SUV and I explained what Kevin from Midas said and he informed me that it was absolutely not necessary and Kevin from Midas was trying to scam me in paying for parts and labor that wasn't necessary. This is the second time I've had this type of problem with the same company and I truly believe that they do lie to customers on a daily basis and fraudulently tell customers that vehicles need repaired when no repairs are needed. read more
