scam. complete scammers. claiming false overheating on breaks and other components. writing this review almost a year later after declining their services my car is PERFECTLY FINE. i went for a free brake check and they wanna upsell me thousands of dollars in repairs for absolutely no reason. i bought that car fully inspected and maintenance performed from a dealership before even taking it here so they were clearly lying to make a quick buck. I truly appreciate the owner and manager of this Midas. I can honestly say that they really do aim to take care of their customers, and are willing to make things right. I had an issue that was caused by a former manager. The owner heard what happened and he made sure to make everything right for me. I was so stressed out at the beginning, and ready to never do business with this repair facility again and to leave 1 star reviews wherever I could. So I have been taking my 2015 jeep Cherokee here for about 3 years since I bought the vehicle , friendly staff, pricing, everything about this shop midas has come in and made the place a new environment people actually want to take their vehicles in and trust that the work is going to get done right your not going to over pay and you get the best service while your vehicle is there. They will walk you through and show you exactly what is wrong and guid you through the process it will take to fix it and not gouge you on labor part ect.. I have been a regular customer now at this location and they definitely deserves much more than they probably get always above and beyond . Hands down best experience i've had at a mechanic. I had purchased an '05 outback and had many concerns and issues needing to be dealt with. I had Joe the mechanic inform me of all the issues that needed immediate attention and those I can hold off on till I get the money to fix. The way everything was explained and even showed to me was so professional and informative that I wouldn't consider any other mechanic. Reasonably priced and phenomenal work. Will NEVER go there again. Old owner was amazing figured I'd give new owner a shot... over $70 for an oil change - I've paid less at the dealership. Also put synthetic oil in without asking or it being requested. No wonder they only have 1 mechanic and not much business. I'd recommend going some place else read more

If everything for your service goes well you're in good shape but if things go a-rye with the service, good luck getting them taken care of. The manager, who I believe is the owner of this location, is extremely difficult to deal with. The manager is not customer orientated and will be difficult about resolving quality issues with their service right. The last dealing with this manager I felt like he would rather push me out the door with the issue he created rather than working to solve it. I understand that things can go wrong with service but for heaven sake work diligently with your customers! As a side note I had no issues with the mechanics just the manager. I would NOT recommend this place to others as a auto mechanic shop should stand by their work. read more

I was having issues with my car starting and not sure as to why. After taking it in, they diagnosed my problem and supplied with multiple options and routes to take in dealing with the issue. Was made to feel very much at ease with answers to my questions on my vehicle. Took it in for a simple Uber inspection and was very pleased with the treatment I received. I was given thorough explanations for services rendered and what things needed to be done when. Being a female, it made me feel more comfortable knowing what things could wait and what things should take priority. I recently started coming to this Midas for all my oil changes. They always take great care of my cars and always tell me what's wrong with them and the best way to fix them and they don't BS around it. The owner is a straight up guy who is really nice and always looks out the best for my car! The other day I went in there and I needed a new Tie rod and he was able to find the best deal for me. He tHe told me about which one was going to last longer, the prices of them, etc. He was really committed to making sure I received great service. And I did. The mechanics really take care of your car. I need some new strut plates within the next couple of months and I will definitely be going to this Midas for them! read more

I had a tire blowout in my Buick Regal on Gratiot and this was the first place I saw. Bob (I believe the manager) was very helpful along with the staff. They had the tire in stock, it was replaced, aligned and also rotated at what I thought was a extremely fair price. I have since gone back for oil changes and have referred friends and family. Scheduled an appointment online and came in 15 min earlier than set time. I was refused service because try didn't know anything about the appointment and were closing in 45 minutes (even though I was the ONLY vehicle there) .
