The appointment for two front tires took 2.5 hours. They then returned my car with a missing…read morehubcap. I noticed right away but assumed it was in my car as that has happened before. I got home and could not find the hubcap and the store was closed. The next morning the store manager first tried to blame me and said it fell off on the way home (that has never happened on this vehicle). He then told me to order one and come back in for a refund. The original hubcaps are near $100. The manager then said he will order some for $16 and call me. I even accepted the aftermarket hubcap that will not match but its been over a week and they seem to care less about it.

Went in for a brake inspection today. When I arrived the man at the counter told me because of the…read morehot weather they could inspect the brakes but couldn't do any work because the heat was making some of the guys not feel well. I said at least visually inspect the surfaces because he said there was a caliper test they do as well. I thought well maybe they'll cut corners because of the heat so I sat down outside under a tree with my eyes trained on the car. BINGO! The tech. took the rear tire on the passenger side off and the tech was tapping on the brake drum with a sledge hammer to what I thought was to help remove the drum cover. I never saw him take off the drum cover on that side and on the driver's side they never removed the rear tire at all. Despite that they told me my brakes were in good shape. I couldn't believe they were telling me this despite not seeing them do the work to be able to view the brake shoes, hardware, and drums. I call that fraud not to mention pretty dangerous.

When we dropped the car off and picked it up it was at our convenience. When the repairs were complete, minus a pair of nameplates that were on back order, Tim had us pick up the car and we returned later in the week for a few minutes to have the badges installed...we were very excited to return the rental and get our new car back, and the Lynch Auto team made sure it was in a timely manner. The repairs were of the highest quality, our Jetta looks fresh off the factory floor. It's also great that they are a locally owned, family business. I would not hesitate to return to Lynch Auto Body and will recommend them any chance I get.

Do you really think they are going to continue to pay for my rental knowing my car is complete? Not once did I deny to pay my bill, which was only my deductible, mind you. You stated you couldn't waive the deductible because that's illegal. I never asked you to waive it. Also, where did you get the information that I had auto body work done and didn't return to that shop? Because that is also false. This is my first claim. I've had the same insurance company since 2012. Should I contact my insurance company and get my claim information/history? And you saying I tried to take advantage of a small business? Far from, again, I chose your business because of the number of years you have been in service. I chose to shop local and support a small business. I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance for an oil change and tire rotation for 5 p.m…read more Tuesday Dec 16. I had to sneak out of the office early to just make it to the appt on time at 5 p.m. This cost me money as I had business at work that I couldn't get to in order to make it to the appt on time. I sneak out of the office early, fight rush hour traffic for 40 minutes to get to Firestone East on time at 5 p.m. I approach the customer service rep at the front desk and he asks for my phone number, name, and home address and then drops the bomb that he doesn't have me on the books, that my appt was never actually scheduled! No appt was ever scheduled! This was incredibly, incredibly frustrating as I sneaked out of work costing me money and also fought rush hour traffic for 40 minutes just to get there on time for this customer service rep to tell me nothing was ever scheduled. I'm not sure if the customer service rep guy (he was little short man) was lying to me in order for him to allow himself to somehow leave early that evening or if the guy I scheduled the appointment with 2 weeks earlier actually did fail to put it officially on the books. The customer service rep even asked me if I knew the name of the guy who I scheduled the appt with 2 weeks ago. Of course I didn't, I thought they were running a tight ship (how dumb of me) and that I didn't need to.
