I first went to Wallace Auto Shop, nearby, since I was nervous about driving it. They quoted $900 to replace the A/C compressor. With my uncle on the phone, he suggested a cheaper fix--a shorter belt--but they refused, which is no problem. My uncle then called KisKis, and Michael assured me I could come in. Already stressed, Michael reassured me that I wouldn't leave until it was fixed. As a graduate student with tight finances, I feared the worst, but the final cost was only $165. I was so relieved, and Michael, seeing me upset, treated me like his own daughter. The kindness and service were exceptional, and I'll definitely return if anything happens to my car.

Look at Lia and Mohawk Hondas website and know what they are offering. Keeler will tell you it's apples and oranges but just make sure you're comparing the same or similar msrp. Also ask Chat GPT. Tell them msrp, lease term, etc and they will tell you what's good. Be prepared. Tell Keeler you live closer to Lia anyway after they insult your intelligence repeatedly. Actually go to Lia or Rensselaer if they get too ridiculous. They'll get more reasonable. Also. Confirm with them - "the amount down includes the first month payment, right?" Otherwise they will agree to an amount down and then the finance person will tell you you need to make your first month payment and pay the agreed upon amount down when you come in to pick it up. Just be clear when negotiating that when you say amount down, you intend for first month to be included in that amount. They use all the tricks. Just be prepared. I can't stress enough- do your homework. Accept nothing less than the chat gpt excellent deal.

While waiting, I could check out the new arrivals and scope out my next car! While I was prepared to stay a long time, but they had me out of there in under an hour. The inspection went well. The oil change turned out to be free under my maintenance package. That wood screw I found stuck in my rear tire? Too small to puncture the tread. The service technicians removed it without a fee. It was perhaps the best car service experience ever! I noticed some reviews that complained about service involved used cars. I empathize. My car is about a year-old. The outcome needed to be good. Joe also suggested that I obtain quotes from Carvana and Car Max on the value of my vehicle that I would be selling or trading in. With this information in mind, I returned a couple days later after having narrowed down my choices of available stock at a handful of dealers in the region. Joe immediately sent a request to the other dealer to inquire about transferring the MINI I was interested in. Keeler also agreed as a trade-in to match the highest sale offer that I had received for my current car. One day later I contacted Joe on his day off and said I had changed my mind on my choice of vehicles available in the region. It was fortuitous. When Joe returned to work he told me that my earlier choice had already been spoken for. He contacted the dealer of my new choice and arranged to have that car transferred to the Keeler inventory. When that MINI arrived at Keeler's I was contacted by sales advisor Araj to set up a delivery date. Now, just ten days later, I was completing the paperwork and taking delivery of my new electric MINI. There were no surprises, everything was as previously agreed to and discussed.
