Story time: My husband's subaru had a recall notice so we took it to a certain albany subaru dealership for recall repair and figured we'd give it a once-over and an oil change.

Bottom line is that I had an excellent experience culminating with the lease of a new electric…read moreMINI. The sales manager, Joe, promptly arranged for me to take a test drive on the first day that I visited. We then discussed leasing vs. purchasing and promotions being offered by MINI. Joe also suggested that I obtain quotes from Carvana and Car Max on the value of my vehicle that I would be selling or trading in. With this information in mind, I returned a couple days later after having narrowed down my choices of available stock at a handful of dealers in the region. Joe immediately sent a request to the other dealer to inquire about transferring the MINI I was interested in. Keeler also agreed as a trade-in to match the highest sale offer that I had received for my current car. One day later I contacted Joe on his day off and said I had changed my mind on my choice of vehicles available in the region. It was fortuitous. When Joe returned to work he told me that my earlier choice had already been spoken for. He contacted the dealer of my new choice and arranged to have that car transferred to the Keeler inventory. When that MINI arrived at Keeler's I was contacted by sales advisor Araj to set up a delivery date. Now, just ten days later, I was completing the paperwork and taking delivery of my new electric MINI. There were no surprises, everything was as previously agreed to and discussed. Araj walked me through the introduction to the features of the MINI and answered all my questions. I was very pleased with the entire process and my new MINI as I drove away.

I like Keeler Mini. I used to own a Mini Cooper in 2003. Recently, I was in the market for another…read more The staff at Keeler is small but very nice and knowledgeable. The cars are just gorgeous. The updated technology is fascinating. I purchased my new Mini before tariffs became an issue. The staff was very patient about letting me test drive the vehicles. They fielded all of my questions and there were many. I traded in my old car even though I knew I could do probably do better selling it privately, but selling to strangers can come with their own cautionary tales. I felt more confident with Mini and I think they gave me a reasonable rate. The buying process actually took two days. That was longer than I expected. When you realize that the Mini showroom is short on parking space and much of the Mini inventory is parked elsewhere on the Keeler property ( BMW, Honda, Mercedes) it becomes necessary to bring a load of patience. The salespeople did their best to quickly shuttle an array of cars over to me. Then, I needed to narrow it down. I did buy a car and I'm philosophical about my experience. My previous car was a Subaru Impreza. I made the Impreza purchase in under two hours and I was never fully satisfied with the car. This time, while it took two days, the staff at Keeler really worked with me and I drove away in a car that I really love.

I moved to Watervliet a couple of years ago but I still trek 15 miles to come here. Follow up - Here is why I love these guys. Through no fault of their own, Lia was contacting us Honda owners about faulty air bags. They would repair the air bags for free as part of the recall. Fair enough. Well clearly out to score from this, they did a ...wait for it...FREE inspection. Isn't that nice of them? Well surprise surprise... Lia found half a dozen things "wrong" they were so graciously happy to "fix". Things like a supposed corroded fuel pump, worn brake pads (which I just recently had replaced, and on and on. I said no thanks, and a couple of weeks later took the car to Warren Tire for an oil change. I asked them to run through the list while I was there. Guess what? Warren Tire said NOTHING on the list needed fixing. They could have charged me an arm and a leg and I'd never have known. I love these guys.

And most importantly (in my opinion, at least) they worked on my car immediately. They even invited me to bring my dog into the waiting room, which is very clean and comfortable. I brought my mini in for a rattle, and they treated the problem as a serious one. They kept the car for a day to test drive it and diagnose the problem and provided me with a complementary rental car for the day. If you decide to wait while they do the repair, there is a comfortable lounge with free wifi and coffee, as well as a shuttle service that will drop you off at local shopping centers. Going to the dealer to get a car repaired is never the cheapest option, but at least with Keeler, you get what you pay for.

Tried charging an undisclosed "core" on a new wheel. As if I should have to pay them $150 to keep what is already mine. This on top of a 1200 wheel, as if they were doing me a favor when I could find OEM wheels online for $750. Quoted $260 for a new Tpms sensor, when OEM from Helms Brothers ( a very classy Benz dealer) has online new for only $87. Scratched the hell out of my hood with their post service wash, and then tried denying, saying its touchless. Yeah, OK! I can go on and on, why Keeler should be avoided at all costs! Go to them at your own risk. Me, I'd rather drive an extra hour and goto to either Manchester or Springfield. This dealer is a cheap and as unprofessional as they come! Not worthy of being an authorized Benz dealer. MBUSA should re-evaluate their franchise and at a minimum enforce some more stringent code of operation to preserve the MB brand!
