I love my car so much, and if I can get a few more years our of it, I'd be happy. She said they're great, reasonably priced, and do not try to swindle their customers with unnecessary repairs. So I decided to check them out. Upon entering, I was greeted by the nicest receptionist I may have ever met. She had a great smile, was friendly, and was professional but still laid back. I explained what I needed, which included looking at why my engine light was on, check my shocks (because my car made very loud noises with every little bump in the road), and anything else they could find. Then I wanted an estimate and we'd discuss next steps. Made an appointment for the upcoming Thursday, left my car overnight, keys in the Dropbox, and they'd look at it in the morning. Got the estimate a few days later than anticipated, because the mechanic is always SUPER busy, then scheduled a pickup. Turned out that I needed new tires (which was not a surprise), my shocks were dead (hence the loud banging whenever I drove over a little bump), and my heater was on the fritz (the engine light). Spoke to the mechanic, and he said he could have my car ready by the following evening. So I said let's do all work as a holiday treat to myself. Picked up my car after work the following day, met up with the mechanic, and he went over everything with me. To my surprise, and due to an error, they even did a little extra work and didn't charge me for it! When I drove my car home, it felt like it was brand new, and if it wasn't for my "dog blankets" protecting my car seats, I would think that I just drove it off the sales lot. Overall, Auto Solutions is a place I will continue to go back to. The professionalism mixed with a laid-back personal approach, really made me feel at ease. Not charging me for some extra work that was done was a very nice holiday gift from them, and I am very grateful. Be fair warned, if you are a type A personality, and need everything quickly laid out in front of you, in a very specific time frame, they may not be your first choice. But if you have a little time on your hands, I will always highly recommend them.

About 2 weeks later the car developed an oil leak from the area of the crankshaft seal and or the timing cover as well as the front valve cover gasket, all of which he had to change. I paid James 900 dollars cash and I supplied the parts needed to do the job. Now after 2 weeks of text messages and 2 or 3 phone calls to my place of employment, James said he has not forgot about me. I have now taken the vehicle to another mechanic for the repairs. This review is not about Capital Tech itself but the mechanic. I am expecting these repairs to cost another 300 to 500 dollars on top of the almost 1600 parts and labor already spent. All day long. This is the place to go. I don't know why anyone goes to a dealer. My Toyota dealer…read more(doesn't matter which because they all stink equally) during my free routine service told me I needed new tires and quoted me a high number. Went to Labarges. They told my nope. My tires were good. Another routine service. The dealer said I needed new brakes. Labarges agreed, but half as expensive. Most recently. My fan was making a weird noise so I thought they might cover the repair since I was at 40k miles, just outside the warranty of course. They also noticed my state inspection was overdue. Had to pay the dealer a $189 "diagnostic fee" to discover it was just acorns clogging a filter so I needed a need filter and of courses the acorns removed. $21 for state inspection which is failed because I didn't realize this, but I had two chipped taillights (my daughter is 17 and I'll leave it at that) so I'm $250 into the dealer and they tell me it's another $700+ to repair the taillights. So I stop at Labarges. They tell me to go to a junk yard or eBay and order a left inner and a right outer tail light and they'll pop them in for me. $155 on eBay brand new. And I happened to have a slow leak so they said that the sensor is starting to go, it he cleaned it up, but the aluminum sensors are garbage so they wanted me I'll likely need to replace them eventually. Charge to replace the headlights, cleanup sensor, and repair slow leak. $50 because it took them 30 minutes to do all that work. They charge you for the time they spend. A novel thought no? For anyone looking for a mechanic, why go anywhere else? They saved me over $1,000 on my most recent visits from what the dealer wanted to charge me.
