Store manager (Jason) said it was "residual leakage" and nothing was wrong. - When got home, car continued leaking oil. The amount of oil was far beyond what would be considered "residual" (see pic below). - Brought car back in again. Store manager (Jason) admitted the wrong gasket was put on for some reason. - Asked for a refund for initial oil change for time/trouble to bring the car in not once but twice to have the bad oil change fixed. District Manager (Rich) said he'd get back to me on this request (within the day) but it's been almost 3 weeks, and I have heard nothing from him. I tried resolving directly with Take 5 before posting this review, but they don't seem interested in making it right. As a 1st time Take 5 customer, I really wanted to like it but ended up quite disappointed. Hope this feedback will help Take 5 improve their customer service.

About 2 weeks later the car developed an oil leak from the area of the crankshaft seal and or the timing cover as well as the front valve cover gasket, all of which he had to change. I paid James 900 dollars cash and I supplied the parts needed to do the job. Now after 2 weeks of text messages and 2 or 3 phone calls to my place of employment, James said he has not forgot about me. I have now taken the vehicle to another mechanic for the repairs. This review is not about Capital Tech itself but the mechanic. I am expecting these repairs to cost another 300 to 500 dollars on top of the almost 1600 parts and labor already spent. I'm always comfortable around him. I don't recommend going right when they open because everyone always has the same idea and the line is way longer. I'd go around 2pm. It was EMPTY when I went. It took me longer to drive there than to get the actual oil change. It was so awesome and convenient. Anyway, I feel like I'll only ever have nice things to say about this place :)

I had called the "local" number and spoke to a man about a state inspection for my truck. He told me (at 10:30 AM) that his inspection guy was there till 12. I said I could be there in 15 to 20 minutes. would that be OK. He said yes, and there was currently a 20 minute wait. I asked him if he was actually at the location, because it sounded like a call center. He said yes this is the Maple Avenue location. He was lying and I wasted my time going there because when I arrived, I was told there was no one available that day to do inspections, and they had not received any calls yet that day. Thank God I didn't drive a half hour to get there, and was able to go to Jiffy Lube to get my inspection. I will never use Valvoline again.

He gave her a hard time for not staying in line in her car, guess sitting in a car for 2.5 hours wasn't acceptable to him. I myself am a double amputee and had a hard time sitting in the same position for that length of time. Yes signs are clearly posted to stay in your car....I get it. But 2.5 hours is unacceptable. Kid needs to spend less time on his phone and pay more attention to the customers. He should be apologizing and not scolding, specifically the elderly.
