Their job is to sell additional services, but I never felt any pressure to say yes. Keep an eye on your maintenance records. Here's the secret. Go after 4:00 pm and the line is short to nonexistent and I think the guys are ready to go home so perhaps they work a little quicker? Idk. Use the coupons they send you or you can find them online. I personally find that if you talk to the techs like they're people, they're friendly. Shocker for some people I know. I also don't want to discredit reviewers who complain about poor/bad service because I'm sure it's happened. If I have one complaint. They do ask for too much for new cabin filters so learn to do that on your own. But at least they show me when I need to replace it.

District Manager (Rich) said he'd get back to me on this request (within the day) but it's been almost 3 weeks, and I have heard nothing from him. I tried resolving directly with Take 5 before posting this review, but they don't seem interested in making it right. I'm always comfortable around him. I don't recommend going right when they open because everyone always has the same idea and the line is way longer. I'd go around 2pm. It was EMPTY when I went. I had called the "local" number and spoke to a man about a state inspection for my truck. He told me (at 10:30 AM) that his inspection guy was there till 12. I said I could be there in 15 to 20 minutes. would that be OK. He said yes, and there was currently a 20 minute wait. I asked him if he was actually at the location, because it sounded like a call center. He said yes this is the Maple Avenue location. He was lying and I wasted my time going there because when I arrived, I was told there was no one available that day to do inspections, and they had not received any calls yet that day. Thank God I didn't drive a half hour to get there, and was able to go to Jiffy Lube to get my inspection. I will never use Valvoline again.
