I had a slight problem with my old oil company on Thursday. I ran out of oil, and my house was at 48-50 degrees for about 2 hours after I called. Long story, short. I didn't get my auto-matic delivery, and was out of oil. I called Albrights as soon as they opened. The woman I talked to was BRILLANT. She told me the best plan for us, explained everything to me in detail, with prices. And got me filled, that day! Even being a brand new customer that morning!! I talked to her several times during the day and she was so nice and helpful. The man who brought the oil, was awesome, I went out and chatted with him about what may have happened, and he explained it to me. They even emailed me later in the day, to make sure everything was running smoothly, and asking to give the furnace and oil tank a look. The man that came today, explained everything he was doing, looked at the furnace. And said everything liked good. I also, have my truck at the shop at Albrights today, for an alignment and tire rotation. I got a call this morning from the nicest mechanic, who told me, my little Tunney had a bad ball joint. And it needed to be fixed before the alignment. He explained what was wrong, and asked if I wanted it fixed, or if I needed time to think about it. Because it was a costly repair. Which I greatly appreciate. Everyone at this business that I have had contact with over the past four or five days, is so sweet and great! I really appreciate a small town business like this!!! I brought my 09 street glide to townline motorsports on recommendation of a close brother. I dropped it off at 2 pm on tues and it was ready by Friday 3 days later. Dave went through the whole bike. The fairing was loose, the seat was falling off, it hadn't been inspected for 2 years, did a full tune up and fluid change, and new tires and back breaks. They even detailed it. When I picked it up Erica at the desk was super polite and the owner John came out to go over the bike with Dave the tech. I was elated. What service . Yesterday morning I spent time with my granddaughters in Woodstock NY, attended my Parkinson's…read moreboxing class in Kingston and headed back to my home in the Adirondacks in my electric car. I knew I would need to charge up somewhere. I hooked up to a station near my class and the charger didn't work but I knew I could make it to the Capitol Region rest area on the Thruway so I wasn't concerned. Unfortunately, none of the rest area's chargers were working, either, so I searched for the nearest chargers. I had about 25 miles left on my car but on my charger app I found chargers that work for my car 13 miles away at Crossroads Ford. I called them and spoke to someone who assured me they had the chargers, that I didn't have to have a Ford to use them and that they were in the parking lot so even if the business closed I could use them. He even said they had a fast charger but from my app I could see that the connector for that charger didn't work for my Leaf. I pulled into Crossroads with 12 miles left and spend the next hour trying to make any of the four chargers work: making phone calls to the charger company, downloading the app, etc. When we determined that the four chargers were down for good, I went into the dealership. I had noticed that they had a charger plugged into a car in the service area. I asked the manager if I could use that charger for 20 minutes to get enough of a charge to make it back to the Thruway and get to the Stewarts in Latham where I knew they had a fast charger - and then I could get home. The manager said no. I begged him to just let me use it for 20 minutes and he refused. I went out to my car and all I could think to do was call a tow truck and have my car towed the 20 miles to Latham to the Stewarts, which is what I did. My trip home, which usually takes 3.5 hours including a charge, took me 7 hours and the expense of a tow. The manager at Crossroads could have helped me and for no apparent reason, cruelly refused to let me charge for 20 minutes - and this is after the Crossroads representative I talked to on the phone gave me misleading information about working chargers. No explanation, no apology, no concern for my situation - really cruel, actually. I have no idea about Crossroad's sales or service but the management is seriously lacking in human kindness. I think the character of a company's employees reflects the company as a whole and Crossroads is seriously lacking.

This is a known issue - this generation truck HATES aftermarket security systems, and it was causing all kinds of problems, so we asked Toads to remove it. He was familiar with this issue, also said he'd look at the starter, and would let us know. I don't know what time he starts work, but he called us to pick up our truck at lunchtime Monday (we dropped it off Sunday night.) Let me tell you, the cost was BEYOND reasonable. I kind of wish I had more wonky electrical issues in vehicles, because they do such nice work.
