With entrances/exits on both Saratoga Rd. and Brookline Rd., there is traffic entering and exiting everywhere, and there's not always enough pavement to get around cars, particularly at the corner closest to the traffic intersection. There's also a medium-sized convenience market here, M&M Food Mart.

In fact, if you drive about 1 mile west on NY 67, over to where it intersects with NY 50, you'll find four other gas stations with considerably cheaper gas prices - 15 cents a gallon less today than here. That includes another Stewart's. Stewart's will keep their prices competitive when they're competing with other stations. But there's no other stations near this one. Hmmm... They must do a really good food to go business here, as more than half of the inside is devoted to it, including coffee, breakfast sandwiches, hot dog and other hot food stations, etc. There's several booths at which to eat here as well. The walls are lined with coolers, so good options for dairy, beer, etc., less so for other types of items on the small number of shelves. There are not 1 but two single-stall bathrooms here, and they were very clean today, essentially spotless. So perhaps they got the word from an earlier review or a complaint? The parking lot is busy and crowded, and it can be challenging getting back onto NY 67 during busy times of the day, as traffic backs up at the light. So my verdict: Drive the extra mile over to Route 50 for your gas, then drive here, wash your hands in the clean restroom, and get your food here.

The store is one of the newer, "larger" Stewarts that seems set up to rival Cumberland Farms. Because of the roundabouts, getting here wasn't intuitive for me in the dark but I digress. I stopped here this morning for gas, so my review is mostly about that. It's very convenient if you…read moreare driving south on NY 50/67. There's 6 pumps, at an angle, but only about 10' of space between the front of the pumps and the edge of the pavement, so navigate there carefully. Since they're on the south side of Ballston Spa, their prices are generally cheaper due to competition, but their prices are still a few cents a gallon higher than the stations down the road at the 50/67 split. There are parking spaces in front and on the south side, and during busy hours, they're almost always full. It's probably people getting their morning coffee and sandwiches there instead of the fast food chains just beyond. It's a medium sized Stewart's. This one has outdoor picnic tables on the north side that are sheltered by a roof, a nice convenience. Selection is good, however, if you want all the bells and whistles of a newer, larger Stewart's, that would be the relocated and expanded one on the north side of town at the intersection of NY 50 and North Line Rd.

I am rating this Stewart's five stars primarily because the new store is fabulous and because they employ some great individuals like MaryBeth who did a great job on multiple occasions, even a few months back at the previous location when I think she was new to the job. With that said, there is also an associate here named Caitlin (spelling?) who must have learned customer service from a rock. I was "waited on" by her once. Not only did she groan when having to get up and meet me at the counter, she barely spoke but sounded absolutely pissed when she did. I felt like I needed an exorcism after interacting with her to cleanse myself of her demonic spirit. Other than that, I love the place!!
