I think it's mixed here, with some good, some not as good…read more Let's start with gas. If you're familiar with the area, you know that gas prices tend to be competitive in the Ballston Spa area. In fact, if you drive about 1 mile west on NY 67, over to where it intersects with NY 50, you'll find four other gas stations with considerably cheaper gas prices - 15 cents a gallon less today than here. That includes another Stewart's. Stewart's will keep their prices competitive when they're competing with other stations. But there's no other stations near this one. Hmmm... They must do a really good food to go business here, as more than half of the inside is devoted to it, including coffee, breakfast sandwiches, hot dog and other hot food stations, etc. There's several booths at which to eat here as well. The walls are lined with coolers, so good options for dairy, beer, etc., less so for other types of items on the small number of shelves. There are not 1 but two single-stall bathrooms here, and they were very clean today, essentially spotless. So perhaps they got the word from an earlier review or a complaint? The parking lot is busy and crowded, and it can be challenging getting back onto NY 67 during busy times of the day, as traffic backs up at the light. So my verdict: Drive the extra mile over to Route 50 for your gas, then drive here, wash your hands in the clean restroom, and get your food here.

During the beginning of the pandemic in the spring, they had several things I wanted at attractive prices that I couldn't find anywhere (cereal, ramen noodles). Their selection of hot food (pizza, hot dogs, etc.) is hit or miss both in terms of available and quality, but I have enjoyed their pizza when it was there. The store is one of the newer, "larger" Stewarts that seems set up to rival Cumberland Farms. Because of the roundabouts, getting here wasn't intuitive for me in the dark but I digress. Like most Stewarts, it is a good place for gas, a few treats, and perhaps ice cream.

I choose not to purchase gas here any longer, unless things change. Speedway recently marketed…read moretheir own credit/rewards card, and they have made some sort of change to the chip-reading software at this station to process it for the purposes of discounts and rewards. I don't have the card and am not planning to get it. Their gas prices for non-members are still competitive even without the discount. Today I spent somewhere between 5-10 minutes between 2 pumps trying to get my card read. Over the course of that time, I think I received 6 different error messages, and never the same one twice: "Card not read," "Chip error," "Sale discontinued," "Please remove card," "Please see cashier." I think the fact that I got all these different messages doing exactly the same thing with my credit card each time tells you something about the software too. I finally gave up and went to the Speedway at Northway Exit 10. They have a different type of card reader at those pumps, and my card worked the first time. I paid a few cents a gallon more for my gas, but I'm not too concerned. Over the course of a month, the amount of money I "lose" for buying gas here would amount to the cost of a cup of coffee. This station lost a loyal customer and won't get me back unless they figure out what's wrong with the pumps

Now I go back to speedway and explained this to Makayla.Once again with a very condescending and rude attitude said she couldn't do anything about it.Now I'm out 100 and speedway made a 100 profit. This employee is very rude and probably stole my 100. Beware of this employee.I will be making a complaint to Corporate and hoping there is a reasonable upper management person to look into this.No more of my business goes to this store!!!

They have really outdone themselves with how they are improving this app on a monthly basis. First off you pick up a free card from there Cumberland Farms store and you link it to your checking account which is safe and encrypted so that it's not going to be defrauded. You are less likely to run into that type of a problem using this app then you are using a card when you pull into a pump and use it for gasoline. It connects to your card and you're all set everything is done it is just a great way to have everything right at your fingertips and right there. When you get to the store you open up the app and it will ask you for a pin code that you set up it's a four digit PIN. It will search for the store that you are at and it will ask you what pump you are at because you selected that you were going to get gas and then you put the pump number that you are at and we'll automatically give you the 10% discount at the pump you fill up and then it will give you a receipt showing your gasoline prices right there like I showed in the pictures below right on your phone just kidding no on the screen when asked you to print a receipt you already have one in your phone. I'm telling you it is that easy. When you are inside and you are purchasing things inside there are two choices when you go into the app that's a purchase in-store or buy gasoline you just want to hit purchase in-store and it brings you to a screen where you can show it to the clerk at the counter and he or she will scan that bar code and you are all set. Now as you're purchasing gas and products inside the store you're also building up lifetime savings and also rewards that you can apply inside the store for future purchases. So if you buy 10 coffees you get one free, and if you bye 10 slices of pizza you'll get a pizza free and if you purchase so much gas you earn rewards inside the store like free drinks and products along that line. And now they've just created something new where you can actually do tobacco purchases on the app is well. As you can see I'm very excited about this app. I would recommend this app to anybody who wants to use it, and wants to have an extremely easy time at the pump and in-store with convenience. Heck I would do a commercial for this app but I don't think I got the looks for it LOL but what can you do. Just get in there grab your card hook it up you'll be good to go I guarantee you you'll be glad you did. Thank you so much for listening.
