My only gripe -- and it's a biggie -- is that the prices of everything in the store, including their own brands, are through the roof! Anti fungal creme, dry mouth spray, protein powders, enemas, coffee!, cereal, aluminum foil ... many of the medical instruments with their own brand name ... Did they jack prices to make up for lost revenue on cigarettes? Are town/county property tax too much for them? A recent professionally-managed shopping cart comparison of everyday identical items such as soap, shaving cream, etc. was c. 94 dollars at Walmart and c. 124 dollars at CVS. Dollar stores did fine. Walgreens was worst by a few dollars.

This is the second time my groceries were "lost" when placed with a Hannaford delivery "to go". i…read moreplaced an order last night for delivery this morning got a text AFTER they were supposed to be delivered that they will be late and i'll be notified. well now 1/2 through the day i finally call to ask what's going on and they tell me they were delivered. i go on to let the woman know it states in the app that it doesn't say that she proceeded with an attitude to tell me it's insta cart i have to call. 30 minutes later after lots of holds insta-cart then points blame back at the hannaford where i ordered from. So now i have paid for groceries that i've never received and this has happened to me twice from here. my word of advice is to stay away from using the to go feature they offer and stay away from the app. it's not very reliable. super disappointed this happened. i work hard for my money and at the price of groceries these days, it's ridiculous no one can do anything and everyone points blame...sounds like a scam to me

I simply asked " would I be able to pick up my medication at 9:00 before I went in to work? I will not be able to get there after work today. (My script had been dropped off several days prior). The person on the phone said "well if you get here at 9 and it's not ready then I guess you'll have to wait. You're not the only one who needs their prescription filled." I'm not? Thank you for that enlightening information. Here I thought I was the only one in Schenectady county who needed to get a prescription filled. Her comment was unprovoked and uncalled for. And even if I had been rude to her, she has no right to make any comment. It's their job to fill prescriptions, not to give unnecessary feedback. There a are a few pleasant folks present in that store but from what I've witnessed, they're few and far between. I think these folks would better serve the public by working night shift in a hospital pharmacy where there is limited interaction with human beings.

People need to get there prescriptions filled for health reasons and shouldn't have to wait so long or be subjected to snotty customer service. I didn't venture far into the back of the store but I noticed they had a selection of Hallmark-brand Christmas ornaments, which was handy. The pharmacy seemed to be the most staffed part of the store, there were more behind the counter than any place else in the store. That's partly because of all the unmanned self-checkout kiosks in the front, somewhat crowded with a lot of other displays, service counters, and devices, many of which had "out of order" signs on them. The dark colored carpet and the dim lights add to the dreariness.
