I'd call it functional yet dreary. This was the pharmacy "assigned" to my mother after the nearby Rite Aid closed, so she wanted to make sure they had all her medical and prescription information - which they did. The pharmacy seemed to be the most staffed part of the store, there were more behind the counter than any place else in the store. That's partly because of all the unmanned self-checkout kiosks in the front, somewhat crowded with a lot of other displays, service counters, and devices, many of which had "out of order" signs on them. I have been going to cvs pharmacy for 18 years I never once had an issue until today ! I called at 939 am I said and I quote ! When will my anxiety medicine be ready they said oh a few hours were working on it right now ! Well I ended up having quite a busy day ! At 3 pm I go to cvs put down my drivers license guess what it's not ready I did not swear I did not curse I did not yell I simply said may I talk to the manager it was this women who I know named remmi and she said did you talk to a computerized system or a human and talked to me in a conceding way ! Like I am some kind of dense person ! I was like no I talked to a human she went on to scream where I worked per diem and she went on to barrade me and for her Information she has her information wrong lmao anyways she looked like a damn fool and to treat someone with disability like totally shit you must feel like a real winner winner chicken dinner well you just lost a customer of 18 years I am telling all of my doctors to transfer 90 percent of my scripts to another phamcy that is going to deliver my scripts for free ! And also she went on to threaten me a second time she went on to say she was gonna put my anxiety medicine back and not give it to me for another two weeks ! Then she gaslight me and said she didn't threaten me and her little friend the cashier was laughing the whole time they changed there tune when I called corporate and made a formally complaint ! It's a typical CVS; not usually my first pharmacy choice. But, I was in the area and needed something specific...which they had plenty of. What I liked best? The self-checkout! One of the four machines was down, but it was nice to be able to get out of there quickly. And, the machines take Apple Pay. Score. The parking lot is very busy and people zoom around there without really looking around...or caring about running over someone. So, be careful. read more

I switched to this CVS because I work close by, and figured it would be more convenient. The parking lot is always busy, no big deal to me! I've been approached numerous times by people asking for money! People smoking right next to the doors. The first thing you notice is the garbage that is ALWAYS overflowing. It's never a nice shopping experience! I understand that everyone is under staffed, but it's been this way for a long time !! read more

Wish you could leave a negative review. Having been going this is CVS for 20 years. But now pharmacy staff rude. Long lines and never have prescriptions ready. Yes, everyone is short staffed but the attitudes are unacceptable. When did it become acceptable for employees to be rude to paying customers? The option of 24 hours is not worth it anymore. The workers deserve higher pay and this alone should boost morale at this location. You have one young boss running around doing everything. My husband passed away this last December. I wanted to take a tape of him in Desert Storm and have it made into a DVD. I dropped it off in January and as of today (3/15), it's still sitting on the shelf, waiting to go to the developers. I can't believe how irresponsible the employees are with precious family keepsakes. My advice is to stay away from this particular pharmacy when dropping off tapes and photos if you want to ever see a final product. Extremely disappointed. read more

It is constantly an issue to pick up meds at CVS. I have called and been assured mine were ready to pick up and when I got there nothing was ready, I have been over charged by them, I arraigned for delivery, only to have "something happened" and the medications were not delivered. It seems like every other month there is a new issue. Lines to get the scrips are always long and no one seems to really know what they are doing nor can they tell you why problems arise. I will be changing to a new pharmacy. The next one cant be any worse. read more

This is truly one of the worst experiences at a CVS in my experience. I have called several time to find out information on an Rx and NO ONE in the pharmacy EVER answers the phone (I have waited anywhere from 25 minutes to over 60). I live over three hours away so I cannot just arrive and wait. This is ridiculous. In this day and age, one would think someone would actually CARE about their customers and try to engage with them. I will never purchase another item at a CVS anywhere. So, I guess, you've, indeed, made an impression. read more

After 18 years with the Congress St. CVS, we're done. The store is a mess, the lines too long, and I've been waiting 5 days for an antibiotic. When I called, I was told, "Oh, it was the Labor Day holiday." The only thing worse than being a customer there would be being an employee. We're moving our scripts elsewhere. read more

The only reason I ever went here is because of prescriptions. General products are way too expensive. If they are on sale you have to have a cvs card to get that price. I discovered Rite Aid on West Ave. I no longer wait in long lines. I go through the drive thru to get my prescriptions and I'm done in about 5 minutes. The store is only minutes from my house. All Pharmacy staff is wonderful except for one pharmacist who is very very mean and unprofessional every time I go in to get my meds because of how sick I am I get dirty looks and I get stared at which makes me feel very uncomfortable I have been through a lot between kidney failure and cancer and each time I come there and this woman is there she makes me feel very uncomfortable like I don't want to come back to the pharmacy anymore I have been thinking about switching to Walgreens if this woman stays employed there read more

The people in the pharmacy openly admit that they don't answer the phone. I live 30 minutes away, so it's an enormous waste of time to drive out there and wait 20 minutes in line to find out that it's not ready yet. read more

This is really the last place you want to go when you're sick. You wait in a line so long you'll think it's Black Friday. When you finally do make the long journey to the register you're told that the prescription your doctor sent electronically 5 hours earlier isn't ready. When you ask how much longer you're told 5 minutes. It's pretty obvious they've done no work on it but, now that you're there to get it they'll finally get around to it. After I waited another 15 minutes I gave up and left. This store has collapsed. If they have this many customers they need to build a bigger store and hire a lot more employees for the pharmacy. I'll ask somebody else to TRY to pick it up tomorrow because I'm never going back there. read more

Always the longest line at the pharmacy but you really can't beat a 24 hour location!! Staff is always super nice as well.

It's a surprisingly large store with a lot to offer. Pretty decent prices as well. It's become my new spot to go buy lunch instead of the over priced Stewart's shop. My only complaint is the long lines. I was just in there today and despite having 3 registers open, There were still at least 3-4 people in each line. Address that issue and it's a 5 star store each time. read more

Overall, service at the prescription counter is prompt, courteous, and professional; front checkout personnel need some major retraining in greeting and dealing with their customers. On a recent visit, the male cashier was rude and gave the appearance that he could care less - a smile and a little kindness goes a long way in promoting a pleasant atmosphere! I only go here for my prescriptions because it is so close to my home! After this incident, and since not even an apology from the store's management, I am finding another store to handle my needs even if it requires traveling further!!! read more

I will be going to another Pharmacy after what i was just put through today 11/29/15. I have been going this CVS for 5 years and i was scammed out of 15 days of my medication.Cvs is trying to cover there tracks by saying they did nothing wrong and they will not give me my 30 pills that i need for the month. There in a lot of trouble cause i will get my dr,dea, health dep and anyone else i need to get my pills i need or i will go through massive withdraw and end up in the hospital.They Stole meds i need to live my life with and no it's not pain killers.DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY AND IF YOU DO COUNT YOUR MEDS BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE!!! read more
