The prices are just okay . When I walked in staff was on cell phone asked where I might find a certain item and she pointed it to me now as I can't read the labels very well it was difficult for me to see and when I went to leave the store there she was sitting on her cell phone that's not what the way it's supposed to be and never very friendly at the cash I just don't like the store it's cold it looks like a warehouse read more

The staff are always very nice and helpful. Their prices can't be beat. They carry a lot of items that are hard to find.

Normally I enjoy coming here. They have a great selection and employees are normally really nice, helpful and outgoing. However, today an employee really ruined it. She's an older lady with short blond maybe grey hair. When Walking in you can see on her face she doesn't want to be working. She immediately said "I need your ID" and gave us a look when we sent our items on the counter. (Hi, good afternoon would have been nice) Rushed checking us out with no one behind us and had attitude the entire time. When finishing the checkout I said thank you have a good day and she rolled her eyes and said yup. I've worked in retail and hospitality for many years that's how you get people to not come back. I think I'll drive a couple more minutes to anchor instead of dealing with an employee that doesn't like her job. I have my receipt so would love to send it to management so you know which staff is turning customer away. read more

I frequent Mohans quite often and have NEVER seen or heard any employee be rude or disrespectful! They are always pleasant and more then willing to assist me with my needs! Their prices are great and , they don't get into the mark up hype like other liquor stores do. I was able to by a Weller 12 for 59.99 all the other local liquor stores like Montys sell it for between 250.00-350.00 Don't get fooled by the haters. read more

Rudest customer service I've ever experienced. Blonde short-haired cashier should be fired because she doesn't know how to communicate properly with customers. Came here on the 4th of July to grab a quick bottle. Right when we walked in the cashier informed us rudely that they close in 10 minutes. After about 1 minute she came back over to us and said, "Do you need any help? Cause we really do leave at 5," in an extremely impatient, annoyed tone. She then proceeded to stare at us as we picked out the bottle. I heard her talking to someone checking out informing them too how long they had until closing (6 minutes to go now). Once we got to the checkout she checked us out (very impatiently). As we were checking out, someone else walked in the store and the two employees working rolled their eyes and exclaimed (audibly), "We should just lock the doors." You have set hours for a reason. Customers are allowed to be in there UNTIL YOU CLOSE. It's one thing to remind a customer NICELY that you close soon if they are cutting it close, but her attitude was not appreciated and left a horrible impression. Horrible. I would give a zero review if I could. Do not come here unless you want to feel completely disrespected. The lady at the front was appallingly rude. We arrived around 4:50pm and was promptly told that they close at 5pm in a very condescend tone. We responded by telling her we understood. It was clear that we were not welcomed when she again told us we only had 6minutes left as we were picking out a bottle of scotch. Then from behind the cash register, she attempted to rush us for the third time by repeating that they would close immediately at 5pm. My boyfriend finally just chose a bottle so that we could leave. As she checked us out, the cashier slammed down the receipt and snapped "sigh here". Really? I've met snails with better personalities. read more

As soon as I walked in today I heard an older female cashier harassing some other patrons, trying to force them out before closing, which was still 5 minutes or so away. Not soon after, this other rude woman walks through the front angrily shouting "we should just LOCK the doors!", obviously commenting on my entry and the other group checking out. All this was said AS the other group spent $50 on a bottle of whiskey. I guess these "ladies" don't like money because they were lucky to get that given how rude they both were. I've never seen an employee, let alone two, purposefully and blatantly appear so inconvenienced at customers. Absolutely pathetic. read more

Best selection around, great staff and the prices can't be beat.

Just stopped in for a bottle of wine and two other items I had placed in the the carry bin. The cashier had an attitude about taking my items out of the bin. At first I thought she was talking to another employee when she stood there and asked, "Are you going to take them out?" Then she grabbed my items out and remarked, "I guess I'll do it." I was startled at first and then I replied, "Do you have a problem taking my items out of the carry bin?" She meekly said she did not. I told her I was going to take my business elsewhere. We had a great experience less than a mile down the road at Monty's. The cashier had no issue with taking my items out of the carry bin. Imagine that! read more

Tom was the bestest. I live in Miami, Florida; I called on December 24 for delivery to my girlfriends house and being in the neighborhood he agreed. He went out of his way to deliver the bottle of Black Label on Christmas Eve, then he called me to corroborate the address to make sure my girlfriend got her gift. Such great customer service. This is the only place I go for liquor in the area. The store is quite large, so the selection is very good. I have searched, and cannot find another liquor store in the area with better prices than Mohan's. Even when they did not have the product I was looking for, they ordered it and had it in the store in two days. Excellent service. read more

Very friendly service with decent prices! A great selection of products.

If they have to ID you they also check your name against your credit card. My name is different on my license from my credit card bc they cannot fit a hyphenated name on the license. I'm also divorced. I did not appreciate explaining this in front of a line full of people, and frankly it's not the business of a cashier at the liquor store to question why my last name varies. Would they like to see my legal AKA affidavit so I can purchase a $20 bottle of vodka??? They made me use a different card which I did not want to use... I'm sure they aren't checking IDs against credit cards for any of the older people in line... also I didn't have to sign for it, if you have to sign for it, that covers you if someone stole someone's card. I'll give 2 stars because of the selection, but I will not be going again... that has never happened to me at any store ever and the last name has varied on my card from my license for 10 years. What do you want from a wine store? Good prices, good selection, good prices, quantitites so they do not run out and good prices! I do not need a lot of help, certainly not in making selections, but the help is here if you want or need it. Most importantly, their "red tag" sale items are truly on sale. I use a site "winesearcher.com" which tgives you the price varous stores have and where they are loczted. Invariably and consistently the prices here match or are lower than any of the stores listed. Isn't that really the most important thing? I resent being "ripped off" or being taken advantage of price wise and theat never happens here. They publish a few of their red tag sale items in the weekly local newspapeer - I only wish they published all their red tag prices so I could check them out before I went shopping, but so far they cannot be beat on price of their specials. I also think they could post their specials on their web site and that too would be helpful. This store provides all anyone wants or needs from their adult beverage supplier. read more

While their selection is better than average and their prices are very competitive, their staff is totally disinterested in serving their customers. There was one gentleman stocking the shelves who went out of his way to help me. He asked for assistance from a couple of the clerks and there was nothing but snide remarks and rolling of the eyes. I would rather pay more than to watch people treated like that and to feel like my questions were intrusive and bothersome. read more
