I brought my vehicle in to get an inner and out tie rods on both sides replaced. Had my car test driven to see if things were good I was given my car back with missing zerk fitting on my left Tie rod and was given a trash alignment. My vehicle would veer off to the right when you let go of the wheel. I came back to have them put in the zerk fitting and was met with some sarcasm and frustration. The guy that handles the customers told me "it must have fell out." Very unprofessional for making an excuse and owning up about it. I don't understand how a component like that could just fall out when it's meant to keep the parts in. Overall the service here was unsatisfactory I spent a lot of money here for what I got and the service was very slow I feel scammed. read more

I came in for a basic oil change and rotation. Matt suggested I get an alignment as well. His team noticed a bunch of sticky weights on one of the tires causing a major balance issue and removed them and balanced out my tires for me. I brought my car in for oil change and tire rotation Un know to the dealer that I marked my tires before they pulled it in for service. I left to eat breakfast while they worked on the car and I receive a call that I need new tires - 3 year old Michelin tires only 40000 miles on them--garage kept plenty of thread they said they were dry rotten. Upon arrival to pick my car up he quoted $1500 dollars for new tires - I just let him do his sell pitch then went to my car to realize they didn't even rotate the tires. I went back in and told the manager and how I knew they didn't do there job even know I paid for the service-- he knew they had been caught and all he had to say was he would talk to his employee --- Never offered to correct the issue and never offered to rotate the tires. I went to Goodyear and they checked my tires and said I would love to sell you tires but in his opinion there was nothing wrong with them. Never felt more confident with the staff at any car repair location. They always add coupons and discounts even if you don't ask. They never try and up sell you on random stuff you don't need. Midas - Tires Near Me - Fairfield, Ohio

Made an appt with Midas to have my car checked out for a crack in the flex pipe. My dealership wanted $1000 to replace it. As soon as I arrived at Midas, they immediately took my car to a bay for inspection. Found out that the crack is small and in a place that cannot be welded. A Midas employee (Troy) offered to use some type of cement adhesive that will seal the crack and reduce the noise coming from my car. He said it was a temporary fix that he even used on his car which has lasted for at least a year. He also did it at no charge. While he could have told me that the flex pipe needed to be replaced in efforts to get $$$$ for the repair, he was kind and considerate by offering me a cost free option that will last for a while. Because of his honesty, I will be coming back to this location for future repairs. Midas does great work and provides wonderful customer service! read more

My daughter and I stopped to get my exhaust fixed since it started leaking a few weeks ago. It was my flex pipe and they could get it fixed in about an hour. As the guys inspected my car they noticed my tie rods were bad. I was also going to get tires because they were way over due to be replaced. I had a quote from another tire store and had an appointment for when I left Midas. The guys here worked out a discount to get everything done at once, they managed to beat the other price I had for tires and discount the rest of the work some too. I am very pleased with the price, service and great attitudes of the employees here. One of the mechanics actually brought my daughter out some cookies since the repairs were taking longer than originally suspected because we had more work done. read more

This place deserves no stars. Service is slow and very poor. But apparently you have to give them 1 star! Took 2.5 hours for a simple oil change and of course they found other things that was wrong, which they could fix for me. One of the things being filling up the coolant system, which I funny enough just did a few weeks ago, and knew it did not need it! When I asked him why it was taking so long, he said that I had a 2 o'clock appointment, and I am 100% sure I had a 12 o'clock appointment! That still ot explains why it took 2.5 hours to complete it! But at this place the customer is not right I guess, he did not even offer a proper apology for it taking so long! I had them follow my company car maintenance schedule for all the required services. The Chrysler originally came with Michelin tires and had a 5000 mile oil change interval. As I put nearly 5000 miles a month on it I was here literally every 4-5 weeks. I always made appointments in advance. If the manager was here I was in & out- very prompt service. If not, however it was a different story! One of the tires caught a nail near the sidewall requiring replacement at approximately 45000 miles. They slapped on a Kuhmo and billed my company a pretty penny for a subpar quality tire- not a very good match either. Another visit I chalked the tires to make sure they were getting rotated, since they were charging for the service! They rotated, but just rear to front (no cross cross). Another visit they replaced the wiper blades, charged well over $40 for that. The reason I finally quit going here- last visit I waited nearly 2 hours for an oil change- the tech advised because the car had a special oil filter they had to track down... Never mind I had an appointment set up days in advance! Also despite providing all the motor fleet paperwork every time, they NEVER seemed to have it saved in the computer and I had to fetch phone numbers and authorization codes- every visit... read more

I had my car breakdown on me and I'm from Columbus, they were honest and didn't try to make me pay for something that I didn't need--which I appreciate as I don't know much about cars. I was going to have to make an extra trip down from Columbus to get my car, but they stayed open past 6pm on a Saturday to finish my car for me! It took TWO HOURS to get my oil changed and tires rotated. They quickly took my vehicle back within 5 minutes of sitting down, I originally thought "great, this will be quick!" It was not. I am unpleased with the length of time it took, and I had to listen to the manager, Fred, go on and on about his life stories. Family matters, ex-cop stories, yada yada yada. This manager would not let me sit and read a magazine. When I was ready to leave and check out, the manager again, would not stop talking, he couldn't type in the computer and talk at the same time. I will never come back to this shop again!! i came to this store to get my timing belt changed. I had it replace by a worker who is no longer there anymore, when i got my car back the first time, my car started idling and making weird noises. So, i brought it back to get it look at and the noise stopped. Two months passed and my belt started making noises, i brought it back for the second time and had it looked at. The mechanic who looked at it said the guy never tighten my bolts or timing belt. Now, I'm having troubles with my brake line and i left the shop two days ago. i will not step foot in this shop again, and i will not recommend anyone to this shop. read more

Absolute worst experience of any shop I've been to. I brought my chevy cruze in for a crank sensor replacement quoted at $150. When I went to pay for it they tried to charge me $236. I asked how since all I asked for other than the crank sensor was an oil change and tire rotation (priced at $16.99). The assistant manager didn't say a word and then told me it was only $183. Blatant attempt to overcharge. I had to return for them to reinstall a cover they left sitting in my back seat. Then they managed to cross thread a lug nut during the tire rotation and didn't tell me about it. The only way I noticed was inspecting the vehicle in my driveway. I took it back and the manager told me I've been nothing but trouble and they did a $700 job for $150 (which was their quote) and they've done me "nothing but favors". Mind you I had now been to the location 4 separate times for one issue. He told me his techs didn't want to work on my car and he would personally do the work. I then watched a tech do the entire job while the manager sat behind the desk. They then told me the previous tech who did the original rotation couldn't get the wheel off because of the cross threaded nut so that's why he didn't rotate the tires. They let me drive away 2 days prior knowing I only had 4 of 5 lug nuts tight and never said a thing. The tech also told me they had a mechanic who tightened lug nuts too tight and he had personally replaced 15 different customer wheel lugs because of him. And that mechanic now works at the beechmont location. They replaced my lug and nut and I left. I am never going to another Midas again. STAY AWAY!!! read more

NEVER go to this midas, if any midas. These people have screwed me over SO many times. I am only 19, and have been coming for a while because this is where my mother told me to go for an oil change. I never questioned it. But now, none of my family or friends are coming back. It all started a year or so ago, when they broke my dip stick to check my oil. They brought it out, and said someone else broke it. I have only been bringing it to them since I got the car. They then said they would leave it there. Next time I got to get an oil change, they tell me nothing is wrong. Time after that, they tell me I have no dip stick. Where did it go? I went to a mechanic friend, and he told me the dip stick had been shoved into the bottom of the tank. Meaning they tried to shove another dip stick in the tank, when there was an already broken one in there, then decided to not tell me about it. Again, I have not gone to anyone for work other than this midas location. I simply have my friend look over my car to see if midas is really telling me things that need done. Then about a month ago, I got my muffler fixed by this friend of mine, because he could do it cheaper. So I'm loving my car because of how quiet it is, but its time for another oil change. I drop my car off, get the oil change that took about an hour, then drive off. But as I'm driving off, my car is being VERY loud. Like I didn't just pay to have it fixed. I complained and they told me it sounded like that when I came in. So I had my friend look it over again, and he told me (without me telling him that I took it to a shop before hand) that underneath my car very damaged. And it was because of those lifts they use in the shops. He told me (again, without the knowledge of my oil change) that when they were taking my car up onto the lift, they hit it at an angle, and tore up the underneath of my car. He could tell this because the scrapes didn't come from concrete like it would have if I hit it. It came from metal against metal. NEVER GO TO THIS MIDAS. Once again this is William informing the public to stay away from the Midas on 7371 Dixie Highway, Fairfield Ohio. Aslo avoid any locations where Maurice and Josh work. There were the two "Techs" that worked on my car. Maurice ensured me that a tune would get my check engine light off and my car would be running good as new. The problem is he didnt put my car back togthjer right when he was finished. My car is still misfiring (when it does start). Josh had my after the first time and he worked on it for 45 days yes 45 days and still couldnt figure out why it wouldnt start. So either he is an idoit or he knew what was wrong with my car the whole time and just didnt wanna fix it for free. Even though I know It was the shotty tune up that caused the problem. And like I said before the sad part is my car still misfires. and sometimes it will start sometimes it wont!! Avoid MIdas 7371 dixie highway fairfeild oh at all cause.
