I let these guys know that and that the device will go off every 10-15 minutes while the car is on, I waited at their store while my car was being worked on to blow into the device as needed. They didn't come to get me a single time so I assumed they had turned the car off. It's turns out they just didn't care and let the device time out and lock out. It costs me another 150$ to get the device unlocked in this situation. After doing so I went back to the store and explained this situation to the manager and he claims it's not their fault. Even though I told them how this device works and I stayed while the car was being worked on so I could blow into the device. The manager wants to say that I should've have let the company know my car was being worked on but that is only for extended service times not for an oil change or alignment or a tire change. Every other shop I have taken my car to has understood this and knows how the devices work and the manager says they knew too so why did they not pay attention? Now I am out 150$! I have generally had good experiences with Kwik kar but not this location whether they try to up charge you by adding things you don't ask for or just being ignorant and not paying any attention. We brought our car in prior to an out-of-town trip, trusting their team to resolve the issue. We were initially given a promised completion time of 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 8th. When we followed up, we were told 12:00 PM instead. After ordering an Uber to pick up the vehicle at 12:30 PM, the car was not even close to ready, it appeared work had barely started. To make matters worse, the shop allowed payment of over $450 before the service was rendered and before testing the vehicle. After paying and receiving the paperwork, the car was brought out and still did not work. They offered to hold the car while we were out of state to re-evaluate it, only to claim it now needed an over $3,000 transmission job (which we declined). A proper diagnostic test should have been conducted once the vehicle was running before collecting payment and handing the keys over. When discussing the issue over the phone, the staff took zero accountability for the inconvenience caused right before a major trip. Instead, they tried to frame holding the car as a favor, a detail that was never communicated upfront. The entire conversation was full of contradictions and excuses. Save yourself the time, frustration, and money, and take your vehicle elsewhere.

Upon checking the oil, I have been told that it looks nice and clear, but it is a bit low. This young man told me he will not change my oil, and figured out that I will need a coolant change. Never had one, usually you do not need one until 100.000 miles, my car had 114.000 miles. Supposed to be a $125 but with coupons and kindness I paid much much less :) I looked up how much that cost at other places, found prices between $200-$400 and also a long wait time. It was still done in 10 minutes. I am so grateful for him and makes me happy that people who really care are still around. We have been getting our oil changed here for years, never been disappointed. This time was no different! Any shop that offers a 10% discount in exchange for a positive review should, in my opinion, be approached with caution. My experience with this shop was far from positive. A truck that had 250,000 miles on it and was showing signs that should have raised some serious questions about a failing head gasket. Instead, I was led through a series of costly repairs that basically treated the symptoms instead of finding the actual problem. Those repairs ultimately failed within a few weeks. They also installed what I believe were cheap aftermarket parts, including the wrong front struts. When I brought it to their attention, instead of taking responsibility and replacing them, they wanted to charge me to install a lift on the rear of the truck to compensate for the front end sitting higher than the rear. WTF? Another big concern was the price and quality of the parts. When I asked about the brand of the parts they were installing, which seemed they were hesitant to reveal, I was surprised to find what appeared to be nearly a 100% markup compared with retail prices. Their invoices also don't identify the brand or manufacturer of the parts, so you really don't know what you're paying for. In my experience, the parts were marked up an unreasonable amount, especially considering the quality. Looking back, I feel like the focus was more on getting me to authorize additional repairs rather than properly figuring out what was actually wrong with the truck, knowing Id probably just cut my losses if I had been told the truth about the head gasket from the beginning. I originally brought my truck here because I was trying to avoid dealership prices. Unfortunately, when I finally took it to the dealership, that's when I learned what was actually wrong with the truck, which was in fact the head gasket and the wrong struts installed. The dealership also asked me if I had ever used a quick sealant in my engine because of the sludge they found in the radiator overflow, the radiator that auto clinique just replaced. I don't have proof, but definitely raised even more concerns about the shop practices. I was so hopeful that I had found an honest shop, but sadly, I'd have to say they are far from it. In July, I scheduled an oil change and engine flush, which he claimed to have completed along with topping off fluids. At the end of August, my vehicle broke down -- the serpentine belt snapped, punctured the front axle, and broke the coolant hose. I paid him $900 to replace the alternator and belt. He then quoted me another $500 to repair the axle and coolant hose (about $200 in parts, with $300 in labor). However, he only replaced the alternator and belt before disappearing, saying he would not be able to return until he sorted out his new work schedule. After a brief apology by text, he stopped responding entirely. I had no choice but to take my vehicle to another mechanic, where I paid an additional $900. The second mechanic confirmed that the oil change and engine flush I had paid for in July were never done, which is why the car broke down originally. The serpentine belt installed was too tight as well. The new shop also properly repaired the axle and coolant hose. Overall, I was left out of pocket significantly more than necessary, with incomplete work, misrepresented services, and a lack of reliability.

Last week had an unfortunate event where their operator failed to start the wash when my vehicle was guided through the wash tunnel. Resulted in both my wiper blade arms being torn off my car and broken. The car wash elements were dragged across my car causing the damage. They have video proof the wash was never started. I first tried to reconcile with the on-site staff. They advised they could do nothing and after 2 tries, eventually connected me with a supposed manager. After on/off communication with this manager, I was offered a free interior detail as compensation. I do not need that service and insisted they offer me a full or partial refund to reimburse me for cost to replace both wiper blades. Ultimately they refused to do so and I cancelled my 2 memberships with them. I see there have been prior damage incidents at this location that went unresolved. Buyer beware. We won't be back.
