I brought my car in for a nail patch and rotation. They popped my hood and checked my engine without my permission and then tried to tell me i have $3,500 of leak repairs. They were so busy trying to find other things to stick me with they forgot to do the tire rotation!! I had to drive all the way back! And I feel violated that they went poking around in my car without asking. This kind of service is 100% unacceptable! I regret taking my car here. They really need to ask permission to poke around in peoples engines. Wasting my lunch hour with teats I didnt ask for. Now I have to stay at work late. This place should be shut down. I went to get an oil change for my car and when I had made my appointment over the phone I was told it would only be $29.99 for conventional oil for my cars make and model. However, when I got there I was then told that I would have to pay $79.99 after being told otherwise. I feel like the initial price was just a ploy to get me to go down there. After hearing the new increased priced I asked how long it would take. The representative told me it would only take 30 minutes. I did not leave until 2 hours later and ended up being late for work. On top of that I was told they found a bunch of things wrong with my care that would cost over 3k to fix. I'm pretty sure my car wasn't fixed within the stated time from because they were looking for ways to make more money off of me. I've never waited more than 30 minutes for a basic oil change there should've been no reason I was there for 2 whole hours! read more

I came to get new front and rear brakes to this location about 4 months ago and got the most affordable deal in the surrounding area. About 1 week ago my brakes started screeching as if they needed to be replaced again, so I called them and they got me in for a same day appointment. Turns out a peddle scratched one of the rotors and it was causing all the noise. They resurfaced the rotor and I was out within 2 hours at no charge. I have had nothing but great experiences when visiting this Midas location. I've brought several of my cars there for checks and maintenance. Today 1/25/2021 I had to take my wifes Cadillac CTS Coupe in for a noise comming from the rear of the car around the muffler area. Cinda and Derrick checked out the sound and diagnosed the problem. Although they could not fix it do to them not having a welder on hand at the time, they referred me to a local muffler shop that was able to handle the issue. I have always appreciated the excellent proffessionalism and honesty that is associated with the personnel at this location. Had a tire replaced on my stepsons car. The staff there was very attentive and friendly. They didn't push me into any un-needed / unwanted services. I was in and out fast. For my 2015 Honda Accord, I had 4 brake pads replaced, 2 rotors replaced, while the other 2 rotors were resurfaced (if that's what you call it). I find it alarming that you still try to discredit me after you called me asking for forgiveness about how you treated me. You blamed it on "having a bad day" and offered to write me a check if I took this review down! Would you have offered me the $80 due to the disrespectful attitude you expressed to me instantly over the phone questioning my integrity about what I did to my own vehicle? I came in Weds to get my brakes looked at. I only have 39k on my car. They just felt mushy and wasn't stopping like it used to, no other issues. They did front brakes. Didn't flush the line or check for air. Car still feels the same. I know my car and the issue wasn't resolved. I don't want to pay anymore money. Needed an oil change baddd but didn't know where to go until a friend recommended this Midas to me. Hands down the best service I have ever received at a car shop! I was greeted promptly and the staff was super helpful with answering all my questions. Even though the store was quite busy, I was out the door in no time. The staff made sure to keep checking on me to make sure I was still doing ok. They also gave me tips on how to take care of my car and were not pushy or trying to sell me something I didnt need. I needed to get a super quick oil change for my work van . I was on the 91 FWY and recalled that there was a new Midas that reopen under a new owner. I thought since it was off the 91 FWY and I was coming up to the exit I would give it a try and see how quickly I could get the van serviced. I pulled up and Tim waved me into a bay door and asked how could he help. I told him I was short for time and I needed to get an oil change and he said no problem that we would get you back on the road ASAP. I thought OK but said cool lets do this. I was pretty pleased with my experience with this Midas. My brakes had been squealing, and payday was this week, so I knew it was time to get it taken care of. Boris, the owner, was very nice, and gave me thorough explanations of what i needed and why. The cost ended up being high, but I didn't feel like I was being sold anything unnecessary (and my husband agreed), and I did not felt taken advantage of. Service took a while (but that's the price I pay for taking my car in on a Saturday, I suppose), and the fact that the nearest Midases to Riverside are Fontucky and Corona were really the only downsides. My life is better if I can stay off the 91 out of Riverside, but for this Midas I will definitely continue to make an exception. Thanks, Boris! I'm sure I will return! read more

Made an appointment and was in and out in a reasonable time, the staff seemed nice enough although the girl at the front could have been more welcoming. My issue lies in the fact that half the staff didn't have masks. It seemed like it was optional and during the current climate I would expect businesses would protect the customers who come into their establishments rather than possibly put them at risk by getting in and out of customer's vehicles with no protective gear. Please consider this if you or someone you care for is considered high risk or has a compromised immune system. read more

Dishonest. I drive a 2018 Ford Fusion and came in for simple oil change. On yelp page , the Midas off of Lincoln posts a picture for oil change $9.99 and the Midas General add has oil change $18.99. When I called I was told $25.99. The local Ford dealer states a blend is how fusions come off the lot and is what they recommend. Midas guy in Corona at front desk said Midas computer stated only full synthetic which he had a special deal at $49.99. He said corporate would not allow him to put in anything but full synthetic, if I wanted a blend I needed to go somewhere else. Total bait and switch. read more

I am very thankful for Derick at Midas of Corona. I was recently having some suspension issues on my 2004 Toyota Tacoma with 216,000 miles and didn't know exactly what might be the issue. Derick had the truck road tested extensively and made sure everything was tested and in safe condition back at the shop. The experience is very good here at Midas. Derick goes out of his way to make me feel like family, both with hospitality and with the money savings. He doesn't like me paying for something I don't need and I love that. If you need car repairs please check out the new owners and management at the Lincoln ave Midas in Corona. When the lights on your dashboard start lighting up a kinda panic sets in. I took my car in for answers to the dashboard lights. Eric and his staff immediately put you at ease and tell you precisely what's wrong and how much it's gonna cost. They even found me financing for the repairs. 6 months, no interest. I really needed these repairs and thanks to Betty I got them. These guys and Lady were lifesavers to me. I took my car to this location for an engine oil leak and the guy ended up finding $3,700 worth of "repairs" my car needed. He pulled up my car history on carfax to justify trying to charge for a spark plug. The older gentleman that looked at my car took the two passenger side tires off for some reason (my issue was an engine oil leak so I'm not sure why he took the tires off), and he did not put the front bumper fender liner back on correctly because it snapped off on the freeway today on my way to work. I was watching him through the window in the waiting area, and as soon as he saw me watching, he stepped away from the car which makes me think he felt like he got caught looking for random things my car might need. They ended up charging me $169 for looking at my car even though when I made the appointment, the store manager told me they don't charge to inspect the car. I'm not sure if this is their normal practice, but looking for extra stuff to fix ($3,700 worth of stuff) just doesn't seem right. They probably would have made money off of me if the guy only tried to fix the engine oil leak. read more

I do not recommend this place. My son took his car and they tried to sell him a $600 brake, rotors and oil job. He is a student with a part time job and they tried to get him to open a credit account $50 a week payments with a 23 percent interest rate. Fortunately he called me and I stopped them from taking advantage of him. We bought factory brakes from the dealer for $55. The pads were not down to the metal. O'rellys turned the rotors for $15 each. There are good and honest mechanics out there, but this place isn't one of them. They are polite and very good talkers. Business like this won't think twice about taking advantage of people to keep there store numbers up and incentivize commissions. Not ok read more

I had a rude and offensive encounter with a tech named Eric. Prior to coming there I stopped at Brake Masters and was given a quote based on what I wanted which was brakes and rotors and was quoted $250 without inspection because I didn't want to wait I went to Midas where I had an appointment. Things were great til Eric explained a cost of $390 for pads and rotors. I said I'll pass and explained Brake Masters quoted alot cheaper so I'll go there and I was content to pay $19.99 for inspection. While waiting to pay Eric comes in talking on the phone about my car and tells me Brake Masters will charge me $350. I was like whoa hold on 1st are you calling me a liar on what was quoted to me 2nd are you trying to bully tactic to get me to spend my money here and 3rd they are still cheaper Honestly more offended he questioned my integrity and needless to say I paid no fee and they will never get another dime from me read more
