They intentionally wait until after you pay to show you the charges and once your receipt is handed to you, it's "goodbye and your car is running on the street with the driver door open ready for you to leave". Not worth it for me to go back and cause a scene about, but definitely will not be returning to this location. For all I know, they're scamming for small amounts and pocketing the difference - it adds up. Beware.

I came across this Midas viaYelp, and they had pretty good reviews - we totally see why! My husband gave them a call this morning and spoke to Derek about getting our car evaluated and repaired. Derek said they were able to help us today and to go ahead and bring the car in. We had to get it towed there. When the car came to the shop, we were told we would be called with diagnosis confirmation and get the green light to proceed. Which was not very long of a wait. Derek and the team replaced our alternator, battery, battery cable, and control arm all within the same day. They also called our warranty place and got the qualified work paid for quickly! The technician, Nick, sent over an inspection report stating I needed inner and outer tie rods, an alignment, and new tires. I explained that I only wanted the oil change and alignment. Nick strongly discouraged this and stated it was "pointless" to get an alignment without replacing the tie rods and tires. After feeling pressured, I agreed to replace the tie rods for $657. When I picked up my car, it was making a noise that had not been present prior to service. I immediately reported this, and Midas kept my car for an additional two days, stating they could not determine the cause. On Saturday, I was told by the lead technician that the noise was due to needing struts and coils, totaling approximately $1,200 -- an issue that was not identified in the original inspection report. I declined this repair. The technician, Nick, responded rudely and told me to come pick up the car. I then took my vehicle to another mechanic, who informed me that I did not need struts or tie rods, but rather a driver-side hub bearing replacement. I have also attempted to contact the regional manager, Jordan, multiple times and left voicemails but have received no response. This experience felt unprofessional, pressured, and dismissive. I am deeply disappointed in the service and lack of follow-up. I will not be returning and expect a response regarding this matter. Also to add the regional manager called me back and he was extremely rude and unprofessional did not acknowledge that Midas messed up .

I've had services from an oil change up to major engine work done by their team and their work and skill has always been consistent.
