It was something I will definitely have often. Burgers are really good, too. Nice buns and big patty with great flavor. Fries are good but salads may be one of the best side salads around. The cheeseburger was really excellent. I don't care for burgers but it had a good amount of beef and tasted like it was made on a flat top so the outside was browned and caramelized. I really liked the tots, too. They were crunchy and the fry sauce was a perfect dip for them. I could only eat half. The fries were pretty good, as well. Service was really good. The person who helped us in the deli was really nice. Ambiance? It's a country store with a small deli and a couple places to sit and eat. It was nice. It's nice getting to look around while you wait for your food to be cooked. I would definitely go back and try other things. I recommend stopping in if you're heading by. When you compare the food to a Mexican fast food place, the food is way better... but, the prices are higher, too. They're more comparable to a sit down restaurant. The portions are good. The prices seemed high for a small taco shop in a gas station without much ambiance. This taco shop is in the Chevron gas station. There are 5 or 6 tables next to the drink station and snacks. We ordered an Al Pastor burrito and an Adobada Plate. The burrito was close to $13. It was a big burrito with meat, refried beans and cheese. Was it worth the price? I don't really think so. The Adobada Plate was closer to $15 and had maybe more value. The flavor of the meat was good but I still don't see the value. Service was good-and patient while I decided what I wanted. Ambiance is sitting in a gas station. I possibly would go back if I needed to grab something fast... but there are other options, so there is that.
