Most important to me, cleanliness. This place is really well taken care of - one Star. The food tasted very good and not greasy! Ordered one egg, bacon, toast, and (for me) cottage cheese. Perfect amount of food and the bacon slices huge! My man selected the veggie omelette with a spicy tomato juice. He loved the omelette but not so much the spicy tomato. - one star The wait staff was superb. She was attentive and friendly. Think she was also the cook but she made the visit special. Overall a nice joint. The prices are not exactly aligned with the current economic climate, so docked one star. Docked another star for the weirdy exit from the parking lot. Have breakfast there almost every time I'm visiting my dad. The omelettes are pretty tasty. This last time I had a meat lover omelet and it was great. The servers are always friendly and attentive. The restaurant is always clean. It's colorful and welcoming. read more

Food: food was great! I got the Benedict, my daughter got pancakes, and my niece got French toast. The portions were large and I even took some back to the hotel for my husband. Service: service was great the staff was nice and very prompt. We came during the morning time and it was fairly busy but the line moved pretty fast. The seats are first come first serve but people leave right after they eat and they have olenth of seating inside and out. Came back to Willees to see the changes after they were closed for remodeling. Looks nice on the outside but inside didn't appear to change that much. Maybe they made changes behind the scenes? They did take out the comfy booths and put in brightly colored tables. Bold primary colors seem a bit much for a comfy diner. The chairs screech as you move them on the floor to get in. They're comfy enough for chairs but I would rather have the booths. Plus, they still are open until 3pm-so not open for dinner-even one night a week. Sad since there's nothing like it for dinner. The food is the same menu except for raises in price (up $1-1.75, it seems although a few stayed the same) since I last took the photo 11 months ago. The pancake was a bit tough-not normal to need a knife to cut them. The corned beef hash and the hash browns was tasty but only the bare outer portion was browned-the rest looked uncooked underneath. The scrambled were ok but not tender or moist. Maybe we are disillusioned but Willee's has lost its charm. It's too bad since it's the one diner that serves breakfast and something other than hamburgers. read more

Food was good up to standards, however the service is horrible. The waitress that served us was rude, missed most of the items that we order and when we asked for what was missing she kept on arguing back with us like if we where asking for a free meal. At that point it was useless to ask for anything else so I ended up sharing my meal with my child. Not a place I would want to come back to. read more

Food was not to bad but what a shock when we got the check and seen $3.12 added on for two small omelettes. I have had a number of three egg omelettes over the years and never seen an omelette so small. There was no sign explaining the extra charge nor did the waitress say any thing about it. I understand there is a sign up now but was none there the day we were. I understand an extra fifty cents per egg but have no idea what the extra twelve cents was for. read more

We had a late breakfast at Willies today, Aug 19, 2023. Our waitress was named Cindy and she was friendly, informative and kind. This restaurant is clean and inviting. The food! I had the ham and cheese omelet which was the special. First, they use real cheddar. So good. The eggs used in the omelet are real eggs and it tastes like it. My taste buds were doing a happy dance! Stopped here with a group of 10 today, we had some family in town for the holiday. They were incredibly accommodating for our large group size and super attentive. This cafe checked all my boxes, amazing food, amazing costumer service, quick and also decently priced. We absolutely will be back! read more

What great food experience today at Willee's! Started with a totally friendly waitress Orlene and because today was Friday "Clam Chowder" was on the menu. So I ordered it along with garlic toast. Chowder was so thick and creamy plus it was yummy with the mushroom, potato and made with sweet cream. I drained the bowl not leaving any evidence what was in the bowl. There were seven of sitting down sharing a meal today and all your heard at the table was "you should have tried my dish" Well worth the recommendation. read more

Willee's was the first place we came to when we moved to Winston . We enjoyed Willee's not for the amount of food they served and not for there price point which is a bit high but they HAD uniquely good food . The flavor of the food IS what kept us coming back but sadly that and the service has been going down hill . We came in Friday because the chowder was special but now it's very bland I also got a salad ,with ranch ,the ranch tasted like plain sour cream and mayonnaise ,also both the soup and salad were very very small portion wise and not really worth the nine bucks they charge.I keep coming back in here because I don't want to give up on my home town cafe.Maybe they make so much money on booze and beer at Willee's and at the 99 bar&grill that food has become a secondary notion ,I don't know ,I do know that won't be spending any more money here in the near future ... read more

Stopped here for a late breakfast/early lunch, and I couldn't be more impressed. As greasy spoons go, this is one of the best I have ever been to. Everything was superb and well-priced. Hash brown were tasty, the eggs were some of the lightest and most flavorful I've ever hard, and with out toast we were served a home-made marion berry freezer jelly that was to DIE for. The service was perfect and friendly, the tea was always hot and refilled, and I left full but not so stuffed that I was in pain. If the rest of their menu is as good as their breakfast menu, then I can't recommend this place enough. If you're up there for the safari, or just passing through, stop and relax for a spell. Lots of locals and doesn't look like much from the outside. Place is clean and good decor, staff are like family and seem to hug almost anyone coming through the door. Portions were big and food was great, very home style and you might swear your grandmother was making your breakfast. Bacon was thick and done well, certainly didn't come from a a big box store, more likely some local meat company. Chicken fried steak and eggs were good and filling. On our way home from Bandon we found this gem! The outside looks a bit intimidating, but it magically changes when you walk in. It's clean, warm and inviting. The food was fresh and really tasty. I had the Cobb salad. The salad had fresh mixed greens. My husband had the grilled chicken breast sandwich with a side salad. The service was fantastic and we even bought our lottery tickets there!
