Food: food was great! I got the Benedict, my daughter got pancakes, and my niece got French toast. The portions were large and I even took some back to the hotel for my husband. Service: service was great the staff was nice and very prompt. We came during the morning time and it was fairly busy but the line moved pretty fast. The seats are first come first serve but people leave right after they eat and they have olenth of seating inside and out. Ambiance: it's casual, not too loud, it's a great place for brunch or if you want to have coffee in the veranda.

Came back to Willees to see the changes after they were closed for remodeling. Looks nice on the outside but inside didn't appear to change that much. Maybe they made changes behind the scenes? They did take out the comfy booths and put in brightly colored tables. Bold primary colors seem a bit much for a comfy diner. The chairs screech as you move them on the floor to get in. They're comfy enough for chairs but I would rather have the booths. Plus, they still are open until 3pm-so not open for dinner-even one night a week. Sad since there's nothing like it for dinner. The food is the same menu except for raises in price (up $1-1.75, it seems although a few stayed the same) since I last took the photo 11 months ago. The pancake was a bit tough-not normal to need a knife to cut them. The corned beef hash and the hash browns was tasty but only the bare outer portion was browned-the rest looked uncooked underneath. The scrambled were ok but not tender or moist. Maybe we are disillusioned but Willee's has lost its charm. It's too bad since it's the one diner that serves breakfast and something other than hamburgers.

I love this bar- especially the patrons! Great vibes, three pool tables, electronic darts, and beautiful people! -biased bartender

We had a late breakfast at Willies today, Aug 19, 2023. Our waitress was named Cindy and she was friendly, informative and kind. This restaurant is clean and inviting. The food! I had the ham and cheese omelet which was the special. First, they use real cheddar. So good. The eggs used in the omelet are real eggs and it tastes like it. My taste buds were doing a happy dance! In our travels through this area, Willie's is going to be a must stop. If you want to support a local diner, check out Willie's.

    Delicious minestrone soup & cornbread.

The place is lively and fun, but not rowdy (at least not when we were there). It has a nice relaxed and casual vibe. They have several pool tables, pinball, electronic darts, and slots. The food is the usual bar food - burgers, fish & chips, corn dogs, etc and it was pretty good. Now the bar.. it reminds me of the bars I grew up in back in Buffalo, it's just a small town watering hole and it might not be much to look at on the outside.. but it's on the inside where the magic happens. There's Oregon lottery machines, pool tables, dart boards and shuffleboard. The drinks are cheap and cold, the hospitality is heart warming and the food is delicious. Sean, the owner, greeted us and showed us where we could park. We had a couple of ice cold beers and a couple of great sandwiches, patty melt (pictured) and s grilled cheese. Thank you Sean for your hospitality and we hope to see you again.

Kind of a hip dive bar meets delicious food with a sprinkle of old timers ready to share a story or two with you while you wait. We got burgers, cuz duh... Look at these things!! There was zero chance either of us were able to finish these monsters so the rest came home with us. The side salad was amazing! Fries were delicious. And the burgers did not disappoint. The guy at the counter was super friendly and everyone in the establishment gave off a friendly vibe. Happy they were the only place open when we were driving through. Or when they want you to eat there and keep drinking their overpriced booze. Either fix your pizza oven, upgrade your disgusting black fingerprint and gunk covered white standing fridge that everyone can see when ordering or tell your customers you don't want their patronage and aren't making anymore pizzas for the night. Be honest. Place has been reported to health dept for unsanitary practices in the kitchen. It's truly disgusting. Also the main bitch up front always is bitching about being there, bitching when an employee calls out sick because she has to work longer, or bitches that anyone else that works there doesn't know how to do shit. It truly is SO off putting for anyone to come in and feel like they can enjoy a meal or themselves. Especially anyone who isn't from this town and is visiting or passerby's.. it's not welcoming. Find a new job if you don't like what you do. NOONE is making you stay there.

September 5 & 6, 2025 - Gold Beach, OR…read more We were staying at Turtle Rock RV Park when a local suggested we check out the Friday night steak special at Hunter Creek Bar & Grill--$21 for a full dinner. Sounded like a deal, so off we went. Walking in, we were hit with a wall of noise from the lively crowd and a haze of smoke drifting off the grill. To top it off, we got an unexpected dose of "local flavor" when an older lady at the bar fixed her gaze on my husband, asked to take his photo, and then claimed she really just wanted a picture of the door... sure, okay. I was tempted to turn right around, but we stuck it out and found a table. Before long, a server stopped by with menus and got us settled in. We decided to split the steak dinner, and it turned out to be fantastic--tender, flavorful, and more than enough for two. A glass of cabernet on the side rounded it out nicely. The best part, though, was the atmosphere. Once we relaxed into it, it was great fun being in a spot where the locals gather. A friendly couple pulled up to our table and shared stories about the area, even tipping us off to some local happenings. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the very next night. The Saturday special was a shrimp hoagie, and once again it was both a tasty meal and a great deal. We even ran into our new friends from the night before, who invited us to join their table--making it feel like we were part of the neighborhood. Note: no minors allowed.
