We were very satisfied with our recent purchase of a used SUV through Mini of Tucson. The purchase…read moreitself was handled smoothly and there were no surprises. We must mention Simone, who was our sales agent. She was professional, informative, and personable. She really made our experience stress-free, and we really liked her. She had excellent customer service skills. We would ask to work with her again, should the need arise. We should add that we had the car home for a few days and could not start the car due to battery issues. This dealer honored the 6,000 mile warranty, and even came to our home, picked up the car, and left us a loaner (Simone personally facilitated this!). A brand new battery was quickly installed, at no cost to us. In addition, the dealer provided us with an extra key to the car which was not available on the purchase date. This involved sending out a mobile key service. Simone facilitated that efficiently. We highly recommend this dealer for a used car purchase and give an Honorable Mention to Simone Sesler.

My 2021 Volvo XC40 was towed to Volvo of Tucson on September 4, 2026 after an accident damaged two…read moretires. What followed was a stressful series of delays and concerns about how my car was being handled. Over Labor Day weekend, I discovered through the Volvo app that the car had been left unlocked and secured it remotely myself. As the repairs progressed, suspension damage was missed during the initial inspection and required a second insurance inspection--two weeks after the car arrived. Twice I was told the car would be ready, and twice I had to cancel travel plans, ultimately losing my petsitter's availability. I was also denied a loaner because I hadn't given advance notice, something impossible to provide for an accident. Then, on September 17, the app again showed the car unsecured--this time with the windows open, hood up, and doors unlocked with keys inside. I couldn't lock it remotely or reach anyone by phone. The general manager later explained that the car was in a secure garage, with the windows down to prevent a lockout because the keys were inside. I appreciated the clarification, though I still didn't understand why the keys couldn't be stored separately and the car closed up for the night, and, concerned that anyone gaining access to the garage would also have easy access to my car and keys. After I eventually picked up the car, the Progressive inspector told me the strut damage had been clearly visible and that she was surprised it had been missed. I do want to recognize Jose, who communicated consistently and arranged a complimentary Uber ride and two Mr. Car Wash visits. I appreciated his efforts, and those gestures helped a bit. But overall, an already difficult situation became far more stressful than it needed to be. I expected more care and reliability from a Volvo dealership.

I've been to a few mechanics around the state and I can just tell when people upsell you, or lie, get annoyed, or don't care. Albert's has always been professional, caring and if they don't think a problem NEEDS to be fixed, they will let you know! They give great paper summaries of what they've done, what they recommend and what to watch. For example, I've had a few minor oil leaks that they say every time, "it hasn't gotten worse, so we'll still watch it" rather than "it needs fixing, hand us $$$" Since my husband is an engineer, he likes taking over minor repairs like oil changes, break changes, shock changes, etc and Albert's is totally cool with that. Before they do anything to your car, they always call you and go over estimates and plans to get your approval first. Since I have an old car too, they've told me they'll let me know when I should let it go, rather than turning it into a money pit. They're confident I have another 50k miles in it. And they usually have a cute pupper at work, make sure to say hi!

You're not just paying for a repair--you're getting honesty, expertise, and peace of mind. I haven't felt this kind of trust since going to my dad's mechanic in the 1970s. Also, I had no idea Buck was a world-traveling dog until I saw the photos in the shop. That little surprise made me smile--and confirmed that this place has heart. Buck's Automotive is now my go-to. I won't go anywhere else.

The father and son started the business because they wanted to provide better service to customers. I've sent three of my friends here because I know that they will be treated right. When I ask questions, they explain things to me. I think they treat men, women and people who don't know anything about cars, equally and fairly. I'm super-skeptical of car repair places in general. Your Dealer, MIGHT do a good job, but they will sure as heck try and rip you off. I don't want to name the dealer, but for years, items that should have been covered by my extended warranty were not. When I went to another dealership location out of town, they actually searched for my vehicle in the manufacturer's warranty system. At a later time, I asked for a full history of my service. That's when I learned that the dealership in Tucson never even tried to use my warranty because they would earn a lot more if I pay cash out of pocket than what they would receive from the company for warranty work. I used to think that Dealers will do quality work the right way even if they charge a premium for it. Now my perspective about dealership service is tainted. I trust Priority Auto And Tire Center, especially the father and son, to take care of my car, the cars for my family members and I have no hesitations to send my friends there. Trust is hard to earn and take a lot to keep. These guys stake their reputation on doing the best job every time, treating the customer right and giving accurate and fair quotes. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. They offer free WiFi, water and they have vending machines if you need a snack or beverage. I don't think it was too loud. I hope the business for these guys is going well. I'd like to see them become a long term business in Tucson! Highly Recommended!
