Today is was to remove a huge tree that was taken down by storm. We have had our eyes on the tree for years. It hung dangerously over the expressway and over the utility wires. BGE and MD State Highway refused to address the concern. Well last month Mother Nature took control and took the tree down along with all the wires and broached the I-83 retaining wall. The A-AAA crew that removed the tree and debris was on time and courteous as usual. All that was contacted was completed to our satisfaction. We still have several large trees in our yard. They came out promptly for an estimate, and once we said yes, they came out promptly and did an amazing job. They did so well that our neighbor was watching them work and hired them on the spot to do some grading in his yard. For the grass, they offered us the option of doing sod or seed. We went with the seed, so the (after) picture just shows the straw, but we anticipate having a beautiful lawn next summer. In addition, I wanted my attached deck, screened-in porch, and railings completely replaced. One important request was enclosing the underside of the deck to prevent animals from making it their home or shelter. I also wanted the screened porch upgraded with a ceiling fan and interior lighting, while the exterior would have three floodlights and illuminated railings.
