It seems like there's 3-4 different areas to use and separate things out with (food, tables, dance). I loved the mirror hallway toward the beginning of the entrance. So fun! Bathrooms were very spacious and super nice and clean. I really like when there is a lounge/ powder room attached to bathroom. The staff was really nice, though I'm not sure if they have their own staff for events or hire outside people...?

Brides, don't let one bad review turn you from booking this place!…read more Because of one previous review I was a bit skeptical, but I am so glad I booked Fort Worth Country Memories for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary in November. We were so happy with all of their services and accommodations. Lynae, Mark and all of their staff were so helpful! I actually had to go a few times before to make sure my elderly mother could walk the entire place (it's huge!) and every time I'd go, I fell in love with it more and more!

A respectable venue that truly values other opinions would not have just wrote what you wrote. Yes, we chose this venue. That was OUR mistake, we honestly didn't want to look very hard because it wasn't the venue that was the reason we were getting married. And we ignored the multiple issue we saw with the venue because we knew we could decorate and hopefully yall would be in a great mood the day of. We were mistaken, I had MULTIPLE people from our wedding and wedding party tell me how unprofessional your employee, your wife (since I had her on speaker) and the DJ YALL RECOMMENDED was. It's even worse when OTHERS point out rude behavior/laziness and lack of care about "y'all's business" you work so hard for. Why would "lying" about my experience benefit me in anyway? I'm trying to tell the truth about my wedding day and hopefully help people decide if this is truly the venue they want, before they waste money. Hopefully they could find a venue that goes above and beyond for there customers, I don't care if you have a bad day or your annoyed it is YOUR job as an owner to make sure EVERY SINGLE TIME is as magical as the wedding before (your 1 and 2 star reviews say otherwise...)I have seen multiple 1 and 2 star reviews, a lot do not have a comment probably because they knew they would get an ugly response from the owners, oh...like i did. All joking aside, I really do hope you turn a new leaf in 2026 so that you are able to keep this business and try to fix your attitudes, not just yours but your employees. We will definitely hold on to the memories and hard work my family put into making our day special. Best wishes

The ambiance was very nice. There's a few tables, couches, and a nice bar area so everyone has plenty of space. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I definitely shared a few enjoyable chuckles with the staff while I was visiting! I also lucked into some live music, a pianist, that came and it just made the vibe even better. I found two wines I really enjoyed (the Syrah and the Touriga Nacional) I also had the caprese flatbread, and it was absolutely delicious! I debated for a very long time if I should order more and just stuff myself with flatbread for dinner.. but the "you have more food at home" got me. But honestly if you're a caprese girl/guy this is it! I had a wonderful time, and definitely plan on coming back!

My wife and I love love love The Bastion. When planning…read moreour wedding, we seriously struggled looking for a place to celebrate after we said our vows. We adore wine and great food. Originally, we were hoping to have a wine cellar that could accommodate 50 people. There isn't one in Ft. Worth. Then we remembered a fantastic dinner we had at The Bastion not long before. So we called Chef Chandra and asked if she was available to host our party of 50 on a Saturday night. Luckily for us, she was available. We made an appointment to meet with her and discuss our celebration. Chef was very patient and understanding of our wants and desires for our big night. She offered tons of ideas and thoughts about food and all the options we had available to us. Since The Bastion does not have a LWB license, we supplied our own favorite wines which saved us a lot of our budget allowing us to go with a higher end hors d'oeuvre menu. She came up with a perfect menu of hors d'oeuvres that encompassed all our favorite foods. When our big night was upon us, we were beyond excited to celebrate. The waitstaff rotated around our party offering full tray service seamlessly. The night went on perfectly and we couldn't have enjoyed the special day as much anywhere else. From beginning to end, The Bastion delivered professionalism, integrity, and perfection. We now try very hard to attend as many regional tasting dinners The Bastion puts on regularly and there is always new and exciting flavors to enjoy! The Bastion is a Fort Worth gem!! Thank you Chef Chandra and staff!
