We stayed here and enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed. I have to give 4 stars to places that have inadequate lighting. People need to be able to see to get ready, especially women. It had a bar, great seating in the lobby area, and a pool table. It was clean! The staff was very nice. The workout area had a lot of space and equipment. The Japanese airlines used it for their staff. There was also a large chess set that could be played with--very cozy area. The furniture in the room wasn't super comfortable to sit on, but the bed was nice. The shower was nice too. read more

Van driver from DFW is awful. She has no personality and is absolutely useless. I am surprised the Hotel has hired her to interact front hand with the customers. Not a good impression at all. read more

Don't be surprised when you're met with a total disrespect. I arrived and was checking in and a lady was on the phone next to the person checking me in and was talking so loud I could not hear the gentleman checking in She was very rude and could care less of her actions. Management should look into the people that are working here as I have checked other reviews and other people have the same issues at check-in I would have definitely stayed somewhere else where they treat their guest with respect. read more

They are trying to be too modern and to save some space they don't have a closet nor an iron or ironing board. There is a steamer you can use. If you are traveling for specialty events, these things are a must. Huge disappointment in the king bed rooms, they are significantly smaller than the two queen rooms. The shower leaked water from the corners. Overall, not a bad place to stay, gym is nice but for four days, you'll get tired of the small space. read more

I've spent a lot of time in A loft's and always have had a good experience. Today when I came to check in the gentleman at check in couldn't find my reservation. I provided my name and confirmation number. Was told I didn't have a reservation. I showed him the reservation and the charge on my card. He kept telling me it must have been under a different name. Finally he found it after 20 mins by searching my last name. I went to take a shower today and there was no shampoo. Only 2 body washes. I called down stairs and the dude brought up a gallon of shampoo to refill what's not there. Then he sees there is no where to put it so he try's to leave and not give me any shampoo. I had to beg him to fill up a cofee cup. So I could have something to shower with read more

Hipster-ish vibe The room and space is smartly situated with a tall garment rack, cozy breakfast nook, and a convenient mini fridge. The room and space is admittedly on the smallish side, but you really don't feel cramped as to how they use color blocking, lines and vibrant colors to make you feel the area is open and larger than it actually is. The location itself is safe, just off TX-121 and is within walking distance to a movie theater, nail/lash salons, lots of shopping, eateries, and stores of convenients (i.e. Target, gas stations). The bed was nothing luxurious, but everything was clean and I (overall) had a nice little stay. read more

The employees are kind, but to find out if a room is occupied they call your room. First it was at 2:30AM.. Yep, in the morning! The front desk apologized saying, "sorry we were checking if this room was occupied." WTH?! I've never had a hotel do that. I couldn't fall back asleep because I heard the music blaring at the pool below me. Mind you it's a Thursday at almost 3 in the morning. It's also February so obviously no one was in or enjoying the pool. Very odd and when asked to turn it off the girl at the front said they would turn if down. Idk.. make it make sense. Then I got a call again at 5am! I didn't even answer I was so delirious. At that point I disconnected the line. I don't know if something was down with their booking system, but regardless it was extremely frustrating. Expect not to sleep. read more

The staff here was SO RUDE. Unhelpful. Unfriendly. The rooms are super loud as in hard floors and nothing including the bathroom is fully enclosed. It may be fine for you and significant other but for a family of 4, it was miserable. The only reason it has any stars is all the restaurants in walking distance. read more

Hipster Paradise! New hotel that is clearly working through some kinks as it gets things rolling. The lobby was a little confusing at first. The check in is tucked back in there and you have to look for it. They were a little lost when I went to check in, but they figured it out.. I want to say that they could use some more stations for checkin. But I finally got my stuff and got my cool little room. A big comfy bed with pretty cool decor. I have to say, it is a nice change from the drab places I have stayed at in the past. The bar was not packed, but you can tell the place was designed to hang out... It might be a little off putting for your grandma and grandpa just looking for peace and quiet, but for those on the move constantly, it is an exciting home base. I would definitely say it caters to the 21 to 50 crowd. read more

American Airlines flight cancellation hotel voucher brought us here and we were pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, had everything we needed, got the last pizzas from the bar on our meal voucher and were grateful and surprised at how tasty. I was here for a training in one of their conference rooms and also stayed at the hotel. They offer a shuttle service from DFW and their vans are nice and new. We arrived a little early and some of our rooms weren't quite ready yet (a bunch of people for a training that started at noon), but Natasha at the front desk handled the packed front desk area with poise and grace. She was so professional, kind, and personable with everyone she interacted with. I forgot my luggage claim ticket and she remembered me and came to find me once she had checked everyone in. Truly going out of her way! The actual hotel itself has great amenities and an even better location! The conference rooms are very nice, modern, and well lit. There is a nice gym with lots of equipment, a fun outdoor area and pool with yard games. The lobby has a billiards table, a life size chess board, and a bar. They also had live music in the lobby until 9pm the night we were there. In the vicinity of the hotel there is a Lazy Dog, Thirsty Lion, Pei Wei, Outback, and I'm sure even more options I didn't see. There are also a bunch of stores and a movie theater. The rooms are bright and colorful and the TV allows you to log into you streaming apps. They also have gone green with large dispensers for shampoo and body wash! They use Bliss products which are great! Natasha was also very sweet and personable when arranging shuttle rides and checking us out of our rooms! She should be recognized for her great work and customer service! I highly recommend this hotel! Especially if you are looking for some place to stay near the airport, but still want food and entertainment options! read more

One of the best hotels I've stayed in a long time. First off, I stay at a lot of hotels... some that are $900 a night, some that are $90 a night. Location matters to me, and this hotel has a FANTASTIC location. You are walking distance to a Dave & Buster's, Old Navy, BELK, Cinepolis, ULTA, Target! Almost everything!!! The lobby is beautiful, there is a hip vibe to it. You want to stay down there and chat with people. The rooms are nice and big. I love that there was a little table and mini booth in mine to sit at and eat lunch with my niece, sister and brother in law. Definitely stay here for a great experience. read more

Staff who were working on Sunday Aug 13, 2023 at 11.30pm were a JOKE. Extremely unprofessional, rude, clueless. It took 3 employees to check in 1 person. Sad thing is, 1 of them was the manager. We weren't excited about needing to make a trip during this time of Covid. However, we were very impressed with the cleanliness and the safety protocols at this hotel. Staff went beyond by offering us lobby area of event hall to use as safe, distanced space to meet and have dinner with our daughters AND THEIR DOGGIES! We are elderly and so really appreciated this accommodation. Very pet friendly hotel. We have met there twice to pick up our grand dogs and we would definitely recommend and go back. read more

Beware: This location does not accept Marriot Bonvoy gift cards! You would think that they wouldn't argue with an individual in town for bereavement purposes. This was my first time staying at an Aloft. This place was nice! I hope they're all like this! We completely enjoyed this hotel. Super clean, very modern, comfy beds, the staff were very pleasant and accommodating, and the location is perfect! So many yummy restaurants within walking distance! I've stayed here twice now. It is convenient for the location and you have access to many stores/eateries. However, I have several serious issues with this hotel. For being a brand new hotel you would think they would have their stuff together. (1) First, they've had plumbing issues. The first time I stayed, we had to change rooms because the toilet would not flush. This happened AGAIN during our second stay. (I know what some might be thinking, but it was a liquid flush.) That time, they just handed us a plunger with $15 in vouchers. (2) My second issue, is during the second stay the shower door would not close correctly (the glass was not level) so water would pool outside the door. (3) Third, storage is severely limited (not ideal for a stay for more than a couple of days). (4) Next, this is very minor, but there was inconsistencies with the mirrors in rooms. Out of the 3 rooms we've been to, one did not contain a full length mirror but the other 2 did. (5) Some of the rooms also face the parking garage, so hardly any lighting when opening a window. If you're not careful with your room choice, I hope you enjoy a view of someone taking a smoke break or parking their car or just pure concrete. read more
