When I booked, I was told the officer requirement would be at the manager's discretion. I communicated multiple times that my event would end by 6 PM. However, I was still required to pay for an officer through 10 PM, even though the event ended much earlier. While I understand policies are in place, this was unexpected and felt unfair based on prior communication. One policy to be aware of is that open flames are not allowed. I was able to adjust without issue, but it's something to plan for ahead of time. Being able to hear one of the volunteers who used to be in the foster care system share her story of overcoming adversity was inspiring. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar.
