While I have never visited the physical location, we did order food through Postmates. Their online menu even on their own website clearly states that the chicken and rice comes with brown rice. In the item description, it says brown rice. When I received the order it had white rice. I called them to let them know and they explained that we had an option to pick brown or white. I tried to explain that if the menu description says that it has brown rice I shouldn't have to pick anything, it should come as described. They seem to understand and said they were going to work on that but regardless, this is pretty ridiculous. It's like looking at a menu item that says a chicken sandwich served on whole wheat bread and then when you get white bread they tell you well you had to ask for the whole wheat bread. Did the description not say whole wheat? This is just the kind of nonsense that I don't understand nowadays. The food was mediocre. Rice (white rice!) had too much sauce. It was clumpy. We popped in last night for dinner at around 8:30. Pleasantly greeted by the owner and then our server. They have breakfast all day, and while that was tempting, we stuck to the dinner menu. My fiancé started out with a blueberry/banana smoothie with an almond butter rim. Unique and tasted delicious! For dinner, we started with whole wheat empanadas, arancini rice balls (air fried not deep fried and made with brown rice), and tuna poke tostones. We polished it off pretty quickly and I can say that all were quite tasty! For our main course, we had the pizza blanca. As with the empanadas, the pizza is made with whole wheat, so there's no guilt when eating here, even though the food tastes great. The food here is good and it's nice to see a menu with so many healthy options, but the service is consistently awful. I've been here for lunch 3 times now, and every time it takes forever to order, the servers seem untrained and the food takes FAR too long to come out. Today was our last visit and we won't be going back. The owner was helping out with service and the people next us offered feedback while paying their check. The woman said, "You need to work on service here." The owner's response was something like, "Yeah, service is hard, it's hard to find people." Really? How about this: "You're absolutely right and I'll train my people better. Please come back again and let us earn your business." Nah, it's Miami. The land of excuses. It starts at the top, with the owner's attitude and expectations. She obviously hasn't set the bar too high. I ordered an acai bowl. That takes about 2 minutes to prepare. It took them 20. My pregnant wife ordered a cold wrap. That's another 3 minutes of prep, but it showed up 10 minutes after my food, so I was halfway done by the time she started eating. Nice way to spend a lunch date--watching me eat. People can't be waiting 20+ minute for uncooked food. That's crazy. The waitress offered an excuse of "there's a lot of people"--as if it's the first time they've been busy for lunch. This place has been open for ages. They know it's a Doral work lunch crowd--people in a hurry, with a short break. My advice? Zero waste dining + delicious food. My wife and I have been to Michi's at least three times and the food has been delicious every time. We've had the garden pizza with cauliflower flour. It was delicious. Everything here is as healthy as it can be while still being delicious. We had the regular tequenos and the guava ones, both are amazing. Their shakes and juices are really good-- I myself love the Cocosette shake. The toddy yummy (chocolate shake) is really good as well. We especially love Michi's because they serve everything in plates and they serve drinks in mason jars-- that means no plastic waste. They have silverware as well. Michi's is one of the few places were, if you ask for no straw, they will remember and not give you one That way you can use your reusable straw if you carry one like we do. Special shoutout to Francis, who almost always takes care of us and takes our order to perfection (including no straw on our drinks) Our faves are the Reina wrap, the mixed tequenos and the Cocosette shake. The ambiance is nice with music that's not loud and a TV screen with video recipes of the owner's youtube channel where she makes many of the dishes the restaurant sells. read more

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SO BAD IT MAKES THE FOOD LEAVE YOU WITH A BAD TASTE IN YOUR MOUTH! The only positive thing about this place is that the food is tasty. HOWEVER, the experience in there was dismal. Table of 3, the people I was going with arrived earlier so they ordered for me. I have to say, if your time is limited go somewhere else or any of the places next to it. Food took 20 minutes to get there. While my food was getting prepared I asked for a Tizana tea as it looked pretty good, I figured it would get there before the food since its a fairly simple thing to make. I was halfway through my meal and the tea wasn't there. None of the waitresses ever came to check on us. I called her up raising my hand with an "excuse me" and got eye contact for a second and then she ignored me, going to the table next to me and not even turning her head while I still had my hand up as she went back behind the counter. EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL, and with an air of ARROGANCE. After I managed to catch someone else's attention a bit after I told her about the tea and all she did was nod. Around 5 minutes later when I was pretty much done with my meal I had to get up and tell them to cancel the tea as I was expecting to drink it with my meal. All she did was say okay and look the other way. No apology or explanation as to what might have happened. To put the cherry on top, when paying (table of 3 remember) I asked how can I choose a different tip and she said it cant be done and the minimum is 18%. I WAS FORCED TO GIVE (ironically what 18% suggested which said "great service" ) to someone who only came to check on us once and because I had to attempt to call multiple times. Honestly feel robbed and the person who invited us felt embarrassed to have suggested the place. I don't write reviews almost ever but the experience there, with the waiting staff being so disrespectful, unapologetic and disinterested (not even a smile) was so bad I can't see myself ever going there or recommending it. When I told my waitress I got a $2 discount "for the chicken incident" these were the waitress' words. This place is a great option for healthy food. It features bowls such as the meditterean and lomo saltado. I recommend to get the lomo saltado it's a warm bowl option. The flavors in that bowl are so good! I would have ordered two, but that defeats the health purpose. As far as juice, we ordered two green juices. The detox and the go green. All of them are great. They are served in mason jars. Michi's also offers happy hour specials, healthy pizzas, pastas, acai bowls and more. There is a free parking in the shopping center. We loved everything we ordered the sangria was delicious we also had as an appetizer the ceviche fish tostones as an entree we both had the tuna bowl with quoania comes with avocado, mango super yummy. The only bad thing I can say about this place is the service sucks. The waiters are paying more attention to other things then the orders and customers there very distracted.
