I like how Trinh made me feel valued. She pays attention to detail and takes care of each customer. She has a good heart and I know I will be back to see her. My nails look great and I left content and wanted to praise her for taking care of me. read more

I use to love how Michelle did my nails until recently. I had been going to her for about 1yr in a half and this last time I went I was so disappointed. I went in for a fill, not only did she do a crappy job but she over charged me with out letting me know. She increased her prices on me. You can definitely see the difference vs when she does a great job. So sad to write this and now I have to find a new nail lady. read more

I usually like her work, however the last few times she has cut my cuticles so much that they bleed. At one point while filing my nails, she stopped to file her own nail with the same nail file, which was weird. Now my cut from her cutting my cuticles is infected. I dont think I'll go going back... this isn't the first time. read more

Melissa did my dip and she did a GREAT job! It's thin, even & so pretty. I called them at 6:38 (they close at 7) and she came to open the shop just for me. I really appreciate that because my work schedule makes it hard to get to any nail shop. I would definitely recommend this place. There is a lot of selection for polish, dip and new trends. read more

I loved coming to Michelle's nails. I felt every time I came her prices fluctuated. I thought it was just me, but I see in previous reviews that it was happened to others. She is rude and gets upset if you tell her to fix something you do not like. My previous experience with callus removal is they scrub for a long time. Twice Michelle just barely scrubs and touches your feet. She always lies about your time and takes whoever is there and does not respect your appt time. She has canceled, rescheduled, cancel again appointments with me. Even if no one is waiting, she is fast and hurts you and even if you tell her she continues. No empathy at all to her paying customers needs. I have seen her multiple times fight with customers because the customer wants something fixed and she tells them no and tells them to leave and they can't come back. Today will be my last day coming here. No one is waiting she's being fast, hurting me and rude moving my foot back with the metal callus removal scrubber by pushing my foot in the middle with that instead of telling me to move my foot or move it with her hand. A pedicure should be relaxing and stress free, not feeling tense and irritated. read more

I stopped by without an appointment to get a nail repaired. I worked in El Monte that day. My nails had been done at a different establishment. They took me in, and did a great job on the repair. I was greeted and helped right away. Even without an appointment. read more

Michelle is very meticulous and she does nails exactly as you want them! I got my nails done here like 2-3 days ago. The lady was in a rush and did a mediocre job. She was rough as well. I called a day before my i went in to see how much it is. Gave her the description of what i wanted i know she understood what i said because she repeated it to me. She said 20. I walk in, wanting the exact same thing, and she charged 25. Idc about the money. Its the principal that youre gonna change the price after 1 day.. Im willing to give them another chance. Maybe i need to go when its not busy. read more

I just want to start off by saying THANK YOU "Michelle Nails" on Valley at El Monte, for the AMAZING transformation you did to my nails on the damn exact day that "Caliente Nails" on Peck at El Monte decided to Eff' them up! The picture on the left is the disgusting work that the employee at Caliente nails did on me, I walked out very disappointed 70$ worth for a shitty ass job for two pedicures mine and my friend and my full set nails. I refused to go home to my sweetheart boyfriend who gave me the money to get my nails done for a date tonight so I went on yelp right away and decided to go to MICHELLE NAILS. The picture on the right IS Definitely RIGHT lol. As soon as we walked in to her salon we showed her the work that caliente nails had done and asked for her help to fixing them. Her face was SPEECHLESS I was able to tell by the look at her face that my nails were a mess. But she didn't hesitated she right away said "I will fix for you" and Waallaaaa she transformed my nails from Fiona to Princess Fiona lol. But seriously people if you want to save your money and time, come to Michelle nails. I HIGHLY recommend her! my fiend and I finally found a nails salon that we will be visiting very often! read more

Michelle Nails - I love my nails! The price is good and affordable for a job well done. - Nail Salons Near Me - El Monte, California

Walked in to see if I can get a pedicure. No hi no welcome. Nothing. I asked how much, and she told me since I'm a guy she's gonna charge more! I walked right out. Where is the equality??? Smh. I would not recommend it. Previous review mentioned she does not sanitize her equipment- just saw that since I wanted to leave a review. Glad I did not stay. read more

This place is so underrated. Gets quality nails for a good price vs other places where they charge more for simple designs. Very diligent worker and she goes over minor details and takes her time to make sure everything looks absolutely perfect. read more

I went in today for my first time and had a mani and pedi done. I am very satisfied with the work and the price I paid, however I'm not sure it's the cleanest. I used to go to come here when the shop was owned by Nancy and I noticed that some of the same decor is there. I dont think the current owner has done much for the place in terms of aesthetics. I'm not sure that I can recommend this place. I don't know if I will be back. Sorry. I really hope she cleans up bc her work is good. read more

Would not recommend. She is very rude and unprofessional. She stopped doing my nails to talk on the phone. Not to mention my nail broke not even an hour after they were done. read more

I've been here twice. My sister insisted I try out Michelle's nails. I had gone to a place in pasadena and my gel manicure completely lifted in 3 days. So she suggested I give it a try. I came in and Michelle was so nice asked me what I needed and asked if I minded waiting a bit. So I did and loved my first manicure. I came for the 2nd time and I got my color changed and she fixed a chipped nail. This is a must try. Michelle is so patient and cautious with her work I love that no matter if she has clients she will never rush thru anyone. read more

Only my 2nd time here and NEVER going back.. The first time was a pleasant visit.. got a gel manicure and I was happy with my nails! 3 weeks later my nails still looking good but it was time for my gel manicure and fill.. on my 2nd visit today, I Walked in and told her I was happy with her work! I told her after 3 weeks my nails looked good yet she still managed to be rude!!! She doesn't hold back her frustration and when I mistakenly gave her the wrong number for the color nail polish her attitude started... Then when I chose a different color she says "Are you sure?" With mean attitude!! I had to tell her not to be so mean considering I walked in complimenting her! While I like her work I will definitely not be coming back to be treated this way! She is so unprofessional and absolutely NO customer service skills! She's lucky I left her a tip.. even if it was only $1.00! She didnt deserve it! read more

As much as I love Michelle's work I will not be returning. Michelle is very rude and has no customer service skills. She was impatient, offered no input when asked about nail polish colors and when I accidentally smeared a nail in the gel dryer she told me she did not have time to fix it because she was very busy. It's unfortunate because she is really good at her craft. read more

Michelle is great she gets your nails done quickly it's rarely busy when i go and i always leave LOVING my nails. I've recommended her to friends and those friends stuck w going to her as well. I had such a hard timing Loving a nail tech and loving the prices not the cheapest of course but for the work It is well worth the pay especially bc i am VERY picky about my nails and who i am willing to pay to do them. I recommend her 100%, i also recommend to make an appointment w Michelle, another lady did my nails one time when i went and i honestly hated how they came out luckily Michelle fixed them for me read more

She's rude and disrespectful she increases her prices on you depending on the mood she is in! She was having trouble gluing on white tips on me so I could see her frustration obviously she doesn't glue that type of material very often because they kept coming off, And started blaming me for moving my hands and even when I stood still the tips would come off. So then she started telling me how much she was going to charge me so for a regular pedicure and just white tips she said she was going to charge me $80, she was trying to paint the white tips on me instead of giving me the actual white tips already because I guess it's easier for her. And then she just finally had the guts to say she didn't want to do my nails because I was picky and all I had asked her for, was white tips! ‍ I had always paid her with Zell and today she told me no zelle only cash for you! Then when she was finally done with my nails and her frustration of not being able to glue the tips quick enough was over then she said I could pay with Zell!!! So I said no it's ok I have cash! She does a good job most of the time however, she lost my business! read more

michelle was very very rude and snotty! i tried making conversation and asking about different gel colors and nail styles and every time she replied it looked like i was bothering her and she made an ugly face. this was my first time here. she cut me a lot while working on my nails. i did them this past monday and by the second day the color had chipped and it looks like i need a fill already. i had mentioned i wanted a pedicure at the start of my fill but after she was done with my fill i told her never mind! there was no way i was going to let her cut up my toes too. definitely will never be back. sticking to paula's nails across the street from the dairy on lower azusa!! read more

I am only giving her a one star because I don't have the option to put no star. I have been going to Michelle for a while and I won't be going back, not even if its the last nail place open. She is very talented but EXTREMELY RUDE! Usually people that want to have clients are nice and give their clients feedback. I had to walk out of her salon because I was about to loose it and blow up on her. I don't think its ok for me to spend my time and money with someone that has such a horrible attitude. Please avoid going here, unless you want to be disappointed. read more

My nails came off after ONLY 2 weeks one broke off & I didn't even realize it neither did I feel any pain, I didn't go with the owner Michelle I'm not sure if the other lady's aren't experienced I did see the owner coming over to check & see what they were doing but that was towards the end so I didn't pay too much attention , I ended up taking off the rest of my nails & they easily came off like stickers they are really nice though but still 25 bucks down the drain . My nails were very uneven and you could see traces of the filer very lumpy , I unpainted them & they looked better when I did them I did notice but I felt bad saying something because I didn't want to be mean . Soooo I guess I'll keep looking for a new nail place ‍ read more
