Stopped in for lunch because there wasn't many dine in options in the area. My co-worker and I both ordered veggie omelets. It was nothing special, we just wanted to go somewhere where we could sit down. read more

We normally hit up Andy's for off-hours dining, but decided to check this place out for a bit of variety. I just had a grilled cheese sandwich, nothing special, but I was in love with the fries they came with. The boyfriend had French toast but didn't share, which is usually a good sign. Our server was bubbly and attentive and did a great job with refills. So it's a little tacky and outdated (the tableside juke boxes all have handwritten signs in poor English that say something like "use at your own risk"), but the prices are reasonable and it's open 24 hours, so I'm willing to cut them some slack. read more

Food was good. Waitress Tonya was very nice . Other waitress, Maryann definitely needs some tips on how customer service works.

Very unpleased. Not a good place to eat at all. Food overcooked. Slow service. This place use to be on point......not no more !! read more

Michaels - Hibiscus it is ! - Diners Near Me - Wyncote, Pennsylvania

I go to school nearby so I've been there many times at 3 am. Their omelettes are great, decent wraps and sandwiches for a diner. I am a french fry lover, and if I could eat their French fries for the rest of my life, I would until I died of heart disease. The fries are crunchy, golden brown, not too potato-ey with a light flour coating. The service is usually semi slow, but I'm usually not in a hurry when I'm there. The waitstaff is usually kind and personable. The place is usually deserted from about 2pm to 5 pm and then from 5am to 7am. Kind of a little outdated hole in the wall, but nice. read more

The food was really good and the menu had many options to choose from including all day breakfast. My boyfriend and I had the steak quesadilla, cheesesteaks, french toast, bacon, and milkshakes. I got vanilla and he got a creme sickle and we both enjoyed them. The only problem was my order wasn't right. They forgot the cheese on my cheesesteak and mayo. The waitress took it back and came back with cheese slices that had been toasted on top and mayo in a small cup on the side. Also, another waitress near by was so giving her table an attitude and once they left she searched the table for a tip and was livid when she didn't find one. Our waitress was great and her name was Shirlie I think. read more

Well first the service was decent . The food was good but a little slow. My waitress was pleasant and professional. The only issue was getting moved out of our seats after being seated . So the senior with a cane had to move after ordering her food. Sad to treat the elderly this way . read more

Michaels - Good open face Ruben - Diners Near Me - Wyncote, Pennsylvania

This diner is a great diner for the area. I recently moved to Olney from the NE where there was an abundance of diners. I was happy when I mapped the route to find out this was only a 7 minute drive from my house! The food is good and the staff are always nice. It always seems to be busy but I never wait for a table and the staff ensure that your food comes out quickly! read more

I'm used to the Michaels in Bensalem which is so much better than this one. No one knows what they are doing. The service is sub-par and food is ok. It's the closest diner but I will drive to a further one because I'm not coming back anymore. I can't even call in an order to pick up. The guy had no clue what the menu was. Put me on hold every two seconds to check something. Took me about ten minutes to order two things. Awful, just awful. Please work on hiring people who can do their job effectively. And again, we won't be back. read more

My bf and I freq here. This place is nice and affordable. It's very easy access to healthy food too. The entrees all comes with salad bar and it has a good variety. Considering the highest price you can get for an entree is less than 20, you get a salad bar, a main dish and a dessert(certain times), this is a good deal. Some of the entrees are not good, I agree with another reviewer about chicken croquettes, don't order it! But the sandwiches are really good. Oh and their breakfast, I love their waffles! It gets super crowded lunch time over the weekend esp Sunday. Servers can be a little busy sometimes but mostly great. read more

Now... I have never been during normal AM hours.... I am typically visiting between 12AM and 3AM... the service is ALWAYS PATHETIC! I dont care its 2 AM....are u in the business of service or not???! The hostess is busy doing nothing and yet we are consistently made to wait to seat anywhere from 5 to 10 mins. She is NEVER PLEASANT OR POLITE! Never greets; just rude! The food is sub-par and I'm usually there as a last resort. I am just done with it! I will be finding a new diner! New digs dont matter with the same ole' BS! read more

Had the early bird special. Salad bar, soup, entre, and dessert. Fair salad bar, good entire'. Lobster bisque had the fake fish in it. Slow service. Large menu and quite a few early bird specials that include the salad bar. read more

Been coming to this diner for the past 5 years and I usually always go away happy. Just this past week I had my typical breakfast at 3PM and got a really nice short stack of pancakes, some scrapple and some home fries. Everything cooked well as usual and the waitress staff was VERY cordial. I will say, the service was slightly slow, but overall it's usually a great experience when I visit and definitely my go to diner whenever I'm in the area. I also ordered a slice of the Baclava (did I spell that right? and it was awesome! Definitely have some unique desserts here! Next time I'll try some of the sandwich's and see how we do with that! Breakfast is pretty much right on target though! read more

Food ok, nothing special, but good Service standard at this visit I come here whenever I come into town Service is usual way above average Today, the server (male) was a half step below average But, I will be back... read more

Good diner food. Good price and good people. Lots of people come at least pre-Covid and it's a family restaurant. So it's not Gordon Ramsey. You pay a fair price for a filling tasty meal read more

We love coming here for brunch. Every few weeks, my girlfriend and I come here for a nice casual brunch. There is always a line of people waiting, but the longest we've had to wait was 15 minutes. It was worth it. All of the other customers are very friendly and most of the staff is great. We have had an unfriendly waitress (which is why I'm giving this 4 stars), but other than her, the staff is wonderful. Food comes out FAST and is always hot and delicious. I'm a bacon lover and the kitchen is very generous in their helpings. The food is very reasonably priced and is worth more than you pay. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a nice, quick, delicious brunch. read more

Best diner in the Philadelphia area. Extensive menu, have had the gyro, Reuben and tuna melt, all tasty and a great value, come with super delicious fries, fried lightly in clean oil. Also have had diner classics like meatloaf, broiled flounder and chicken croquettes. Great prices and entrees come with a well stocked fresh salad bar and tasty homemade soups as well as hot fresh rolls. Cream of broccoli tonight was delicious. We live in Mt Airy near the way over priced and under cleaned Trolley Car, and definitely prefer to drive 10 minutes to Glenside. read more

Good severs at breakfast, VERY simple menu. The interior decorator need to be shot in the face. Cream chip beef has no favor at all I WAS VERY disappointed!!!!!!!! EVRYTHING else was good. read more

If you want poor slow service this is the place to go. Took forever to take our beverage order. Free refills limit of 4 where do they do that? Don't drink your beverage too fast the waitress will let you know. The taste of the food was just ok. I had my favorite rueben with the tuffest corn beef I ever had in my life. One thing I can they were slow with EVERYONE. We saw one group of about six just leave because they took entirely too long to bring their food. We will not be going back. My friend said it not the first time they got poor service. Well that is our first and last time! read more

A diner where everything on the menu is good!! I've had French toast, pancakes, steak and eggs, fish and chips, and pasta. All absolutely delicious! read more

The food and service here are horrible! I typically visit after hours and between the unpleasant hostess and the slow and unprofessional servers, I will NOT be returning! They need chik-fil-a customer service training and a serious course in cooking. It's a shame too because it's a nearby diner and would be convenient if it were a viable place of business. I hope the management team reviews this and really takes a look at staff and product served. It's hard to make a complaint at such a late/early shift but they absolutely made this easy! Do better folks! read more

From a former Arcadia student's point of view, Michael's is the epitome of convenience, seeing that it is right across the street from campus. It's great if you want a place that serves breakfast all day or just want to go and get a milkshake or a piece of pie late at night between studying and doing homework. They also have a full salad bar, a variety of desserts, and a take-out option. read more

The food is overpriced and under seasoned. The portion sizes are that of a French Resteraunt....and it's extremely far from that. Extremely disappointed .i came three years ago and the food was delicious!!! What happened michaels???? read more

Good staff, tidy place. Amazing breakfasts. Everything you could ask for in a great salad bar. Very reasonable prices. Not much "wow" worthy (although I have to mention the weekend crab omelette special before 11 is totally worth it) but it's still a great diner. Reminds me of the ones I went to as a kid. read more

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!! Can't tell you how the food is. Why, you ask? Because the waitress argued with me before I could place my order. Wanted onion rings in place of fries. She went all the way in to tell me they don't substitute. I said that's fine just bring the onion rings and not the fries. She went further in to tell me they will not substitute. I told her I understood and will pay the additional price for the onion rings, I just don't want the fries. She went in yet again! So I said, "That's fine, I'll go somewhere else." SMH read more

Came here when I first moved here because I didn't know where else to go and everywhere here closes so damn early. I will probably only ever come here if I'm drunk or if I want a milkshake in the middle of the night (this is probably the same scenario). My friend had a burger here that was gray once, so that grosses me out. Waitstaff is usually nice/passable, had a guy once that had the deepest radio voice I'd ever heard, so five stars to him. read more

I love this diner. It is open 24 hours and for those of us that are occasionally nocturnal it is awesome to be able to find someplace to get super cheap coffee or eats at any hour. The staff is always sweet too. Food is hit or miss but mostly good and for the price I have no complaints. read more

The cakes and other pastries in the front case look good, but nothing we ate actually was. The salad bar is lackluster, and the dinner rolls in the nearby case cold as stone. The late-day breakfast foods others were eating looked good, but the dinner items we had -- meatloaf, chicken croquettes -- were subpar. Mashed potatoes were tasteless, mac and cheese one-note and average at best. Soup wasn't very good, either. Service is friendly and quick, though. Overall, low-end diner food. read more

Been here couple times, went with good friend of mine, stopped here, while running errands. It's got neon sign, the place is OK, the service average, food -Ehh-average, nothing spectacular, near B.K.A. Beaver College, now Arcadia..its not the best..but not too much in that area. I got breakfast..alright. read more

i stopped in for Lunch. Nothing like a diner that serves mostly frozen food. I'm a sucker for good old fashioned diner food, so i ordered the chicken croquettes. I grew up eating them and they remind me of back in the day. Well, they were not good. You can tell they were bought frozen from the frozen diner food supplier. Mashed potatoes were definitely instant and no flavor and the gravy was right out of the can. They did have collard greens that were blah as well. Cut the fricking big ass stems out of them like grandma used to. Oh well, should have went to a fast food joint. read more

Avoid this place. The food is meh at best. The service is usually grumpy. And the decor is dingy. After leaving disappointed multiple times I won't go back. It's hard to fail with a diner especially in the Glenside area where they're few and far between for some reason. Michael's fails. read more

Wonderful diner with great staff. Food is great for hangovers and comfort. Under renovations now so it doesn't look the best.

Was here over the weekend with friends, Love it, because it is open 24 hours, very convenient. Their burgers are amazing, the fries are stupendous, and the wings are pretty decent. Remembering that this is a diner, and the area that it is located in, you can't expect top notch service, but it's passable. The prices are also fair, if only they would open one closer to where I live. read more

I used to love coming here, especially after hours. The food here is of very poor quality. Everything tastes old. Today I had the roast beef sandwich... It was very salty and was more on the old school cafeteria level, just nasty. I then had ice cream for dessert. It tastes like it's been in the freezer since the beginning of the year. I will not be visiting here anymore, so sad. read more

Sorry hate to say it but this place is no good! Got food poisoning! Thought I would be safe ordering the french toast with country sausage but nope! read more

Wasn't a busy Sunday, and the service was slow. Our waitress was adorable and super kind, but didn't pay much attention to the table. My eggs Benedict was awful. The eggs were cooked to the center, and not runny- how eggs Benedict is supposed to be. Onions are almost raw when they were asked to be put in the homefries. They pay very good attention and service their regular quickly. Hard to watch when you need a knife or a refill on a drink and they're treating their regulars like Kings/queens. I probably won't go back unfortunately. read more

I've been wanting to try this place. It's right across Arcadia University and right off PA309. Service started off being really slow. No drinks, water or waiter. Menu is typical for a diner: lots of choices. The salad bar was good and a decent selection. The waiter problem apparently was a result of miscommunication. Clam chowder was good. Had the fried shrimp and scallops with generous portions. The scallops didn't have much flavor which is okay, the natural sweet flavor was able to come out. I didn't care for the shrimp. French fries is the kind with a batter coating. The meatloaf was okay, mashed potatoes were good. Had to try the desserts. Either there's a problem with the refrig they have them kept or they don't sell much desserts. The exposed sides were dried out for both the lemon meringue and light side of the moon. Both desserts were great, just the freshness problem. read more

Ordered twos eggs n sausages to go for 8 bucks and when I got home, they forgot to put the fucking sausages. So I basically paid $8 for a $4 breakfast. I'm really mad. read more

Great, reliable diner. You don't come here to get gourmet or unusual ethnic food. This is the place for your all American, filling, weekend morning, greasy spoon, diner food. Pancakes and French toast are awesome. Nice thick pancakes. Service is generally good. Fries are crispy on outside, chewy inside. Coffee is average to good. If you haven't had your salt and fat allotment for the week and are going for true diner cuisine, this is it. read more

I went out to breakfast here with my mom and we loved it! The breakfast specials were well priced. We were able to get a little bit of everything without spending a lot of money. The omelets and pancakes hit the spot. Coffee and tea were complimentary with the specials which was nice. The service was very fast and friendly; being new to the area I was given advice as to where different shopping centers could be found. Overall it was a morning well spent! read more
