This gentleman showed up 10 minutes early and was ready to get to work at 7 AM sharp! He worked all by himself and completed a fantastic job on two of my over grown trees. I have used him once before and I will continue annually. read more

Prompt and efficient! Reasonably priced. Pleased to find a someone to maintain our trees who is a knowledgeable small business person.

" Michael Was Unbelievable " I called Michaels Tree Service to come out and trim two of my fast growing trees. Michael was not the cheapest tree trimmer, but I picked him to trim my trees because of all the reviews I read. Michaels knowledge about the type of fast growing trees I had from Africa in my yard, and his dangerous step by step maneuvers he took to make sure my trees were trimmed the best possible professional way, was amazing. He also made sure that he cleaned up everything very well after he trimmed the trees. Just look at the pictures I took, as Michael trimmed my trees. Michael did a great job and my trees now are growing back well. read more

Michael was recommended to us, and we would definitely recommend as well. Very accommodating for both scheduling and pricing. We had to trim several large branches from our tree that started drooping toward the street, and he made sure to make the end result look as natural as possible and made sure to leave enough so the branches could still grow and produce leaves. Knowledgeable, cares about his work, cares about trees, cares about his customers. read more

Very prompt getting back to me when I left a message. Michael did good work cutting down my tree that was close to my house. After the job he cleaned up the yard and left the nearby bushes unharmed. The price he quoted was reasonable. Glad that I saw him in my neighbors yard. read more

Mike is very personable and returns calls promptly. he gave me a fair price to remove two limbs from an oak and his work is great. I would definitely use him again for future jobs. Linda C. Palm Bay, Fl L read more

Michael and his crew are real pros. Michael came out and gave me a quote on trimming eight trees and solving a root encroachment issue with a Cottonwood tree. When they came back to perform the work Michael was there to supervise his crew of three. They did a great job and did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves. They were very knowledgeable and safety conscious. read more

I can heartily recommend this business as being reliable and very reasonable in their pricing. We had a 30 year old Hollywood Juniper that unfortunately was dying because of bark beetle. Michael provided a fair estimate for removal. He also kindly gave us a senior discount. Michael and his crew arrived exactly on time and within about an hour had removed the tree down to the stump and hauled it away. They did a great job in cleanup. Without hesitation I would recommend Michaels tree service. read more

From the time I requested an initial estimate, to the clean up after their job yesterday, it has been a smooth process getting our trees trimmed. Mike is punctual, thorough, and honest. He did not butcher our trees because he's extremely knowledgeable about what he does. He explained to us what needed to be done and how he would do it. He gets to the point and gets the job done. We are happy with the work and customer service, we look forward to using his company in the future. Many thanks! read more

Michael did an Excellent job on trimming my walnut tree, a neighbor's oak that was hanging over my roof & AC unit, and a branch from a deodar cedar. He was on time & cleaned up the ensuing tree mess. I am extremely picky & hard to please, and will definitely use him again! Highly recommended!!! read more

Got our trees trimmed a couple weeks back by Michael and he did an amazing job. The trees look so much more healthier than what they where. Thank you for taking care of us as quickly as you did. 5 star rating does not do him justice. read more

What can I say about a business person who does what he says he's going to do, when he says he's going to do it, and takes the time to even send you a thank you card for providing him with your business!! The first clue I was calling the right guy was when I called, someone immediately answered the phone (no voicemail as with other businesses of this type). He gave me a date and time and was even early! He came the following day, when he said he would, and removed a cumbersome tree off my front yard (the tree that Don Tiss Lawn Service never called me back on..), covered the hole and left it all clean and neat. He was punctual and dependable. I have to say, I admire his work ethic. The thank you card was such a nice touch. Never expected that, but I guess when you take pride in your work it shows in all aspects of your job. He was honest and was even nice enough to lend us his chain saw and time to cut off some True Date Palm heads, so my husband could remove them without getting a thousands stab wounds ;-) Definitely recommend him. Please give this guy a call and give him your business!! read more

I needed to have a tree trimmed in my front yard. As there were no reviews for a local tree service on here, I had to take a chance on calling someone without any prior information. Boy did I make the right call. Mike was very professional, very fast, and left the lawn in the front yard looking neater than it was before he started cutting and chipping. Please, support this local businessman, you won't regret it. read more

Michael's tree service is straight up professional. He showed up on time for the estimate, removed my tree on the days scheduled and left my yard clean their prices was very reasonable and he is a local small business Now you might say that is what is expected but I was not home at the time to check the work,or keep an eye on the work at hand. This was so easy and smooth from start to finish. I went to work with a large tree in my front yard and came home to see the front of my house and no trace of the large pepper tree I would recommend Michaels tree service to anyone looking for a true professional. read more

We have a large tree in our front lawn that needed to be trimmed. We called Michael's Tree Service. We were so pleased with Michaels work and professionalism. His fee was reasonable, prompt and a very nice guy. We will use Michael's Tree Service again. I highly recommend Michael's Tree Service. read more

First time customer with Michael; we've had memorable experiences with tree groomers, trust me they weren't good, they're lack of knowledge can cause long term damaged and take years to remedy. called Michael out to look at to our 36 year old magnolia that previously been damaged by last landscaper, Mike worked his magic and did a amazing job!!! couldn't be happier with results. Highly recommend read more

I've used Michael on and off as needed for 6 years. He is very reliable, fair priced, appreciative of your patronage, and courteous. In addition, I've never yet heard a word slip out that I wish my kids didn't hear (and I have two of them that just want to hang out and watch the cool stuff he does). His hard work and positive attitude make you want to get out there and work beside him on whatever your project is. I've just hired him to take out two trees and haul it away... after turning away three other quotes by locals coming door-to-door that I neither had a good feeling about, nor liked their prices. read more

Everything you could ask for in a tree service. Michael and Craig were on time, professional and very hard working. Michael said the job would be done in 2 hours and it was done in 2 hours to the minute. Our palm trees have never looked better. I highly recommend this company!!!! A++++ read more

Big Thanks to Michael. I just moved to Beaumont. I had a few large trees that needed some attention. Michael came out on Friday to give me an estimate and was back the next morning to do the job. He doesn't typically work on a Saturday but knew I had guests coming over so he made an exception. Not only did he trim the trees in the initial estimate but also edged up the front lawn and leveled off some bushes. Customer service was on point. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. read more

Michael was punctual, and assessed the tree work needing to be done in an honest, knowledgeable manner. He was courteous and friendly, while taking the time to explain different options with our overgrown plum and Pali verde trees. He was in several neighbors yards while completing the work and they commented on his cordial & capable demeanor as well. We thought his rates were reasonable. He is conscientious about safety and has workers safety insurance that protects homeowners as well. read more

Michael got here on time, he was friendly, polite, and asked how much we wanted trimmed from the tree. Michael got straight to work and finished the job pretty fast. He cleaned up well afterwards and we loved how much cleaner our tree in our front yard looked. We will definitely call Michael's Tree Services for trees we have in our backyard later in the future! read more

Not sure this is the same guy! My experience so very different! Older guy with a pronounced limp? He did answer his phone, he was pretty prompt but after that???? He tried to flatter, then when I told him that I was going to get another quote, he was aggressive and dropped the F bomb twice referring to himself as a f...in Mexican. I was glad to have my son with me. He came down in his price by almost half but said he was honest. I checked his license and has not been active since 2002. Same guy??? read more

I called Michael yesterday for a quote on removing a HUGE queen palm. He came out later that same day and was prompt, courteous and just an all around fantastic guy! I hired him on the spot and I am so thankful that I did. He did an amazing job. Not only did he remove that palm, but the cleanup was so great that it looked like I never had a tree to begin with. Thank You Michael for everything you did. You saved my house from a disaster. God Bless You. read more

I had a very large tree removed in my front yard and I wanted to replace it with a smaller tree. But the person I hired (Mike's Tree Service) didn't grind the stump completely and left roots growing across the grass. So I found Michael's Tree Service on Yelp. I called, he came out, gave me an estimate and the next day he removed the stump and all the roots that the other guy left. Everything was raked clean and neat. I can't say enough good things about him. His excellent service goes to prove that you get what you pay for. He may not be the cheapest guy in town but he certainly is the best. I highly recommend. read more

Great service, gave a quote a few weeks back. When I called him for the job remembered who I was. Took out two fan Palms and hauled everything out. With stump grinder used its hard to tell we ever had two trees removed. No problem recommending his services. read more

Awesome service! My phone call was answered right away. Michael came out and gave me a quote within a couple hours of my call. He left the quote with me and gave me several options. I called him soon after he left and told him we wanted to move foward with the tree removal. He was back at my house an hour later to remove it. I was shocked at how fast he worked. His prices were very reasonable. We will be using him again in a couple of weeks. He's also very knowledgeable about different types of trees. Honest and dependable! So glad we found him! read more

While we were on vacation, one of our mulberry trees lost a large branch. We had been thinking about trimming, topping or removing them for awhile, and now that one was quite lopsided, it was time to do something. My husband called Michael and he came the same day for a quote. They decided that both trees would be removed and stumps ground. He also trimmed up our birch. He did a wonderful job, and was there when he said he would be. Sure enough, the one mulberry was diseased and would have been a problem if we had left it. We would hire Michael again in a heart beat! read more

I had a great experience with this business! The birch tree in the front yard of our new (to us) home was completely dead. I called and Michael came two days later to chop down the tree and grind the stump. He worked fast and now my yard looks great!! I paid him cash and received a receipt in the mail with a nice thank you note and his business card. I was pleased and have scheduled to use him to prune my birch tree that is still living. :) read more

Michael is second to none. Answered my 1st phone call and explained what he can do and made an appointment to come and see the trees to be removed the same day. I was lucky. I had him remove 4 fruit trees and roots at my Mom's new house (in Dec 2015, 2 days before Christmas) and cut down another to a stump. He arrived right on time even as they day looked as if it could be a rain-out. Very nice to talk with and knows his business well. I give 10 stars because I can and he is worth it. thank you Michael read more

Michael is a man of integrity and keeps his word. How refreshing it is in this day to find someone like that. I needed a lot of work done on my property. I live in East Highlands Ranch. I had called about five or six different tree service in this area to do the work and they all made promises and never showed; no call back, no explanations, so unprofessional. I called Michael's Tree Service and spoke to Tammy who explained that Michael does not usually work in my area but would see what she could do. She called back the same day and said he would look at my property. He came that same Thursday to asses and gave me a reasonable price. He had estimated he would come the following Wednesday but followed-up with a phone call on Saturday morning to confirm for Thursday before 8:am. On Thursday before 8:am he and his crew were at my home as promised and did a fantastic job. Michael's Tree Service is the most professional tree service/landscaping business I have dealt with and it was a pleasure to work with him. read more

Had Michael out about three weeks ago for a stump removal. He showed up on time and did great work! In about a hour he had it sawed down, grinded, and the area cleaned up. All for cheaper than what it would have cost me to do myself in rental and my labor. Highly recommend his service! read more

He came out the next morning...early.. Did the work for the price he quoted..He cut tree and hauled it away in less than two hours.. He did such a good and honest job I gave him extra money,, He is one of the very few good and honest businesses in the area..I can not praise him enough..Thanks Michael,, Oh yes..he left my back yard cleaner than when he arrived :) read more

We were very pleased with the competitive rates, professionalism, honesty, promptness and attention to detail! The only way that you can tell that he was even here is--- the tree is now gone. We would definitely use him again. read more

Michael came out and trimmed a large overgrown tree in my yard for a reasonable price. Now it is beautiful! He then took out a nuisance tree on the side yard with surface roots, ground the stump and roots completely while he was out here. Got a large pile of wood chips for landscaping thrown in as well. One of the hardest working crews I have seen. And Michael is an American success story by doing it the right way! Great service at a great price and in a timely manner! Kudos to you, Michael! read more

We are very glad that we found Michael. We've used several tree services in the area over the years-some have been ok, some not ok-some had rates we felt were unreasonable, others had workers I'd rather not have on our property, you know the story. I remember the foreman of one local company informing me that a call he had to take was from one of his workers, who was in jail! There would also be services that were great the first time out, but then the next time something would not be right. We had Michael out to give us a quote on the trimming of a large tree. We ultimately decided to wait because it was far from the house and a dangerous job, but after meeting him we totally wanted him to help us with other projects. He came with references and copies of his insurance, workers' comp in hand, was pleasant, honest and candid about what he could and couldn't do, so we basically found something else for him to do. It was a big, unpleasant job involving many wild Pyracantha bushes grown to trees, and he trimmed them beautifully for a very reasonable price. He's very skilled, and managed to trim them four feet back without having them look butchered at all. He is knowledgeable about where is best to trim so that the tree is not compromised (no topping here.) He kept checking to see if what he was doing was ok with us, and wasn't happy until he did it just right. He left our backyard and driveway absolutely spotless. Most importantly, I felt comfortable having him around our place/kids/etc. and he's a nice guy that's easy to communicate with. We hope to keep him very busy! read more

I have a mixed opinion on this one. Michael did show up on time, he was personable, and seemed knowledgeable about his craft. He did a good job of cleaning up after himself. My gripe stems from the fact that he only did a portion of the original trimming he said he was going to do, and that is what the estimate was based on. He told me what he was going to trim. I asked about how many feet that was, he confirmed, and showed me where the new top of the tree would be in relationship to the house. I wanted to be very clear about what he was going to do. I did some rough calculations in my head as to how long I thought this project might take him, I looked at this estimate and approved the amount. When he was done, I paid him, and the area looked clean and tidy. A few days later I got to take a closer look at what he did because my wife was not happy with the results. He left about 8 feet more of the tree height than he said he would, and the upper side portion of the tree was still hanging notably over my neighbors yard, which is the main reason he was called out to trim in the first place. He trimmed up to a certain height, and everything over that height is still hanging over my neighbors yard. He performed about half of the estimated work, but still charged me the full amount of the estimate. I have paid less per hour for an attorney than I did for Michael's services. I left one message for him, but never heard back. He could have charged me 1/2 of what he did and still made well above average wages for this type of work. read more
