This Michaels is super nice, clean store to shop for all your arts and crafts needs. I especially like the Christmas decor this time of year, but I prefer to order online and get free shipping. This year I found the cutest pencill tree for a tight area in my home. It arrived a day later and it is so easy to assemble. It's so pretty ad exactly what I was lookiing for. I haven't decorated it yet but I couldn't wait to share my pictures with you all. I highly recommend this beautiful prelit slim tree. It's perfect and I love it. I am newer to this area, and wanted to check out the craft/art selection at Michaels. I do a lot of shopping as I sell hand crafted items as local venues. For the most part, I was pleased with their selection. The 40% off of Christmas items was a nice plus. When I approached the cashier; I asked if I could apply for their credit card as I would have gotten another 40% off. The cashier had not offered that when my items were totaled. The gal said it would not count on that days visit. I was disappointed as my total was over $250. She did not offer anymore details, and seemed put out at my request. I later found out that I COULD have saved 40% and an extra 20%. Needless to say; this led to my 1 star review. I can't say that I will never return there, but it certainly won't be my "go to" place. I love Michaels, usually. I can't go to this one anymore because I've been twice and each time I go the only woman at the checkout is so aggressive. I just want to buy my item, I don't want to sign up for anything and I get "so you don't like saving money?" "You know everyone already has your information anyway?"...WTH? I had to defend myself at length twice to this woman when I'm just trying to buy some dang felt. Maybe it's the stores fault for making her hit quotas, I don't know. But I'm uncomfortable ever going to that location again because there is no one else to check out with. read more

This is a great Michaels store. Lots of selection, everything is well-organized, and I can always get some great finds for super cheap or on clearance. Near the front checkout lanes there are bins and bins of really awesome $1 stationery and other goodies. Fun to go with no agenda, and just wander from aisle to aisle and catching new ideas. Matthew in the framing section was SO nice and helpful. There was an issue with one of my pieces and he really went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I appreciated that. Service like that goes very far in my book. His overall vibe and attitude are stellar. I hope Michael's takes care of employees like him. I would steal him to work at my company in a second lol it's hard to find people like that and it's rare for employees like him to be compensated and treated fairly at large corporate box stores. read more

I want to thank this store and specifically Carol for an unbelievably amazing experience. My mother was recently there and made a major purchase with many items. Unfortunately one of the items did not make it home (either not packaged or left in the cart) and it was fairly pricey. My mother went back and was ready to repurchase the item and Carol remembered her and her purchase. Who does this??? They looked up her past purchase and refunded her money no questions asked. wow, i love Michaels. they have a good selection of everything, it is very well organized, and if your not sure on what to do wandering from aisle to aisle you find and idea. some things are up there on the price, but normally the items are good for what they are. they have a HUGE selection of one dollar things. and well Michaels is always my choice for an arts and crafts store!! and its near many other things. i give it an A! read more
