I actually had decision burn-out, as I went in sleepy, not knowing how they expanded this store greatly since my last visit! I left with some super cute accessories but I am considering going back before I had back up North to buy something else while I am not half-asleep! And maybe a super cute and soft towel even though there's no good beaches up north, but the towels were just that beautiful and buttery soft! There's a really dope Halloween design, amongst other awesome designs, and you can put them on a variety of shirt styles! Awesome music was playing, and staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Especially the two ladies who were helping me; if every retail employee was modeled after these girls, the world would be a happier place and stores could certainly boost their sales too honestly! Went & purchased them (right after my aunt just made a $108 purchase at this place) & realized immediately after she ran my card an ornament is damaged. Her response "oh I wish I didn't already run it." It was the only one so I couldn't replace it, & apparently there's no refunds. Ok so I'm standing right here, you know your product is damaged because I haven't moved, know I can't afford to waste money since I'm out of work with my injury, but won't refund me $7 after BOTH of our purchases? She said I could pick out anything in the store for an equal price to exchange, but I didn't want anything else in there, I'd looked. Between the two of us we spent $135 & she couldn't refund me $7. Ya know, if YOUR business is in the wrong & you clearly sold damaged goods.. you change your policy for the situation. Nope, not here. She could've cared less. This lady is all about her money. No heart. My mother, grandmother, & other aunt wanted to come back tomorrow since we went without them today, but my entire family is sick to their stomach this lady was so about her policy & not any compassion. Be careful, she'll sell you broken stuff. She'll put on a good show like she cares though in the beginning though. Thanks for "helping" my anxiety.

Currently there are 408 stores in 28 states, several of which are in Florida. Ollie's purchases company liquidations, overstocks, and older items that haven't sold, and resells them in their stores for a discount. You can expect to see name brand items. Ollie's sells a little of everything, cleaning supplies, garden items, books, toys, food, health and beauty, automotive, holiday decorations, home improvements, electronics, flooring, housewares, and so much more. I had previously shopped in the West Palm Beach and Delray stores and they were great for stocking up on hurricane supplies. Easily the best place to go for affordable home goods, rugs, even some clothes, random food items and especially for holiday shopping or any kind of gift shopping. The store has been more organized recently - good job on that end, employees! Now, on to the criticism... Recently every time I've been in here, I've been hearing the employees complaining very loudly about how they want to quit, can't wait to leave, etc. It's really beginning to show in their attitudes on the job. The last time I went the lady Trisha was so rude. My husband commented lovingly on how she shared the same name has his sister (who is deceased, by the way) and she scoffed at him. She was cursing loudly and proudly on the job, a surefire sign of serious unprofessionalism. I get that you hate your job but when you're being paid to be at a location, the least you can do is hold your tongue to all of the foul words you consider saying and work the job with a good attitude. If there's one thing I've learned through my years working similar jobs in my youth, it's that you should never take your home troubles and bring them into your work attitude. She was very unpleasant, short tempered, and absolutely pissed off to have anyone shopping in this Ollie's Outlet. Of course, I love Ollie's so I'll bear through it. Another time, I was ringed up incorrectly and when I pointed out that my discounts never came off, a different lady showed me a lot of attitude in trying to fix it. There are some sweet folks who work here - I'm not saying all of them are bad. But recently I've really been noticing how negative the work environment has become there. Some of the employees really need to show up to work and just have a good attitude. Some are fine. Either way I love this Ollie's and I'll come back, but it has been pretty bad on that end recently. I would give this 5 stars but a star is getting knocked off for a handful of the employees issues, and if I keep showing up and these issues continue spiraling down, I'll come back and knock another star off.

In 2007 she purchased the previous Gumbo Limbo and kept the home decor items and store name. She opened her store in 2008 and added purses and Alex and Ani jewlery. I was searching for presents for some hard to buy for friends and I made the rounds of the gift shops in historic downtown Stuart. This was the second store I visited. Gumbo Limbo bills themselves as coastal chic. Store sections are grouped by the type of event you are shopping for making it very easy to buy gifts. For example some of the sections they have are wedding, mother's day, and birthday. They also carry tropical decor, art, and jewelry. Brands they offer include Roost, Zodax, Dash & Albert, Napa Home & Garden, Vance Kitira, HomArt and Michel's Design Works. Some items they carry are specific to Stuart if you want to bring home a vacation memento. I didn't end up buying anything this trip but I had fun shopping. Customer service was excellent. I was enthusiastically greeted and then left alone to browse. The items I was drawn to were a higher ticket than I could afford to spend since I had a few people to buy for. If I was looking for just one special gift or money was no object I would definitely come back and select something. This is really beautiful store with many unique items. Right now they are selling tickets to the spring Stuart and Stroll. It is an open house walking stroll through the shops and restaurants in the historic downtown.
