Worse store manager this store can have. I've shopped here for many years. Seen a couple of store Managers go. The best 2 managers John and Cassandra are no longer there. Worse mistake Michael's did was let them walk out. They always went out of their way to help me find what I was looking for or give suggestions if the item was not available. very friendly and welcoming me when I entered the store. The new store manager Tommy does NOT know what he is doing , much less manage a store, he's rude and condescending, hardly there. Always gone by 3pm. He is never available when needed.Michaels if you want to keep this location up and running you need to get rid of him. when your assistant manager leaves abruptly after being there for over 5 years, that says a lot about your store manager! Such a disappointment. What is Michael's? Like, what is it? I mean, I was in there, I know what it is NOW. I wanted fabric. I don't need crafting things yet. I haven't made it that far in life! I just made it to need fabric! So anyway. The two starsis for customer service I walked around the store twice. This Michael's is close to home and is so clean and well organized. Not gonna lie, I forget about Michael's in general, but I'm always so happy to browse the aisles when I remember their existence. Check sales ads for coupons or download the Shopular app. Michael's typically has a 40% off and occasionally 50% off coupon (one-day only) in every ad. It can be used on regular priced items and expires about a week out. This trip I scored a really cool science experiment kit to package as a birthday gift for my Godson turning 8. This location will be my go-to...as long as I have a coupon . There's something for everyone here and crafts make me happy. read more

Michael's let me down. This was the store I'd come to for a superb selection of children's crafts and art supplies when my children were growing up. I'd also buy many of my own craft supplies here, too. While their adult craft selection is very extensive (many scrapbooking, hobby, ribbon and framing supplies), their children's selection was meager. Very few Crayola markers and only a few choices of Play-Doh (of course, the very expensive sets - no individual tubs or small packages). Disappointing! I ended up going to Target, who had an large selection of Play-Doh and Play-Doh accessories. I couldn't believe they carried what used to be Michael's specialty! read more

This Michael's is close to my home, I always come in here for toddler crafts. The teachers are so sweet, they're very patient with the kids. I love coming in here for my crafts as well. Love using the coupons they send in the mail, email and the rewards. read more

I swear this craft store violates all ADA regulations with regards to their lack of space between isles, displays, stacks of merchandise. Which let me just admit that is one way to get me thoroughly annoyed while shopping. Nothing like being a human Tetris piece, do I fit, do me and the other patron fit? They have already miniaturized their shopping carts. I know I'm tall but I shouldn't be hunched over just to push the cart, I guess I could use my hips? It's always hit and miss service when shopping at Michaels. I'll have stellar service on the floor and on checkout I might as well not bother. I'm not a Black Friday fan, and I'll usually wait a day or two in hopes the workers tarnished by the battering of the shopping frenzy have regained themselves and the thought of destroying every shopping patron has somewhat dissipated. But, I guess I didn't wait long enough. With Michaels generally you can just use coupons off your smart phone, so I didn't even think to cut out the coupon in their paper advertisement. But upon checkout I asked if I needed to, holy hell I should have not even asked. Because I was greeted with a snide Yes, pair of scissors, and the remark of I have to take it from you. Now call me perplexed but how are you "taking" all the smart phone coupons? Granted I would have loved to start this discussion but the sheer fact of "we are getting in trouble for not taking them from customers," my bullshit meter was already running and I don't do well after that point. So I kindly cut it out stated, it expired in an hour and I wouldn't be back to use it a second time (granted I could pull it up on my smartphone all the same), and handed it over. Oh, holiday shopping how I loathe the bitter taste you place in workers mouths. Look I did my retail hell, wore the shoes, heard the complaints, it sucks! But literally, you signed up for it, as I did for two holidays in a row, sometimes being nice hurts but can make your day a HELL of a lot better! read more

I think the fact I was able to get my Chanukah house says it all!!!! It was a fun project with my one year old son. I love how you can get creative here. The women at the register was awesome. She optimized on all my coupons and I was able to pay like almost nothing for the thing. Always happy with my shopping here. read more

This store is great. They have tons of arts and crafts supplies, pretty much everything you could imagine. There is always lots of holiday decorations and accessories. Big selection of decorative flowers and the like. Michael's has a big selection of picture frames and supplies and they even build custom frames to order. They had a wide assortment of different Halloween decorations there when I visited. If you are in to arts and crafts you will be very happy here. read more

Very poor customer service! 8 to 10 people in line waiting for one cashier . Asked Manager Didn't care just like when she walked bye line twice. If you need craft supplies or buttons with good customer service shop elsewhere! If you like poor customer service and managers who don't care this is the store for you!!!! Had called in looking for certain item. The employee was very nice and very prompt. They had what I was looking for and to my surprise he ask what color was I needing. It didn't occur for me to ask . He again went to check and they didn't have that color in stock. It saved me a trip!!! Great job in hiring people that are helpful... something rare now days. read more
