I brought my mom there one time and as we're walking around she said she felt suffocated. I was like "IT'S NOT JUST ME!!" I once pulled into the parking lot to shop, and then I saw the window crowded with everything I ended up just leaving. The young co-owner was just lovely. She and her Dad recently opened the store and you could see the pride in her face as she explained the work of each Artisan's items. I really impressed with her knowledge of the different woods and how they were finished. I found myself intrigued by a Mesquite wood side table which was absolutely stunning. The legs were contemporary, which is not my style at all, but this piece is one I really think I could work in with existing decor. Who says things have to match anymore anyway? I felt the pricing on the side table was extremely reasonable given the size it was and quality. Actually, nothing in the shop was overly priced, in my opinion. The dining tables, sofa or coffee tables were just fabulous. The shop owner showed me many of the items they were also creating in shop. Her dad seems to be a talented Artisan himself and his daughter is sharing his passion by learning the craft herself. A Jewelry display made for the store, was just beautiful. I asked if custom orders were considered in a larger size and she said a number of people have brought in a picture of what they have in mind and Artisanat has made it for the customer. So custom orders are a plus. There wasn't one item in the shop, be it large or small, I did not touch. So many beautiful and unique gift and items for persons of all ages. My daughter and I walked into this book store on a weekday, looking for a couple books (children's…read morebooks) and they had it all. In the children section is labeled specifically, Disney, tv/movies and so forth. Everything else in the store is labeled the same and accurate for the most part. There's also a couple chairs and seats as well as a table if you have a need for that and not to mention they have restrooms in the back. As far as service, nobody really stood out or greeted us, I guess we were just busy looking for our books to notice. As far as pricing, it may very well be half price books, but some books seem a bit pricy. They have very old beat up books that go for the same price as newer gentler used books so not always fairly priced I'd say.
