We came here for my Birthday Party & I've desperately meaning to write a review about how fabulous this place is. This isn't your typical paint night, these people will put you to work. We're talking hammering, sanding, power tools, and getting down to business. The process is incredibly simple, first you reserve and select your image on therusticbrush.com & then when you arrive, your name will be set up on a table with the image you selected. Then your Rustic Brush Coordinator will come by and walk you step by step. The staff helping each table were incredibly sweet, kind, and helpful. My entire group has a blast! I would've given five stars however there were 2 cons of the evening, the first being the parking. The parking is very limited in the lot and it difficult to find a spot when you're attending a class of 30 people. There is a church lot next door, however I was skepitcal to park there. The 2nd con was the Manager that evening seemed very rushed & rude to her staff. I didn't appreciate the way she was talking to our amazing helpers. Hopefully since it's been a month now they've improved management and put value into their hardworking employees. read more

I went for my sisters bridal party and it was great! I didn't want to go with a standard template so I decided to customize one. I expressed my idea to the designer and they nailed my design! At the actual workshop, our teacher Rima was very helpful. Everyone had their own little project and it even involved alittle teamwork. I love providing input to my sisters and her friend's pieces. It's definitely a lovely memory to take home and enjoy for all your visitors! Rima distributed the colors and gave her expertise and everyone was happy with the result. I booked this for an impromptu get together for my future niece-in-law, we loved the experience overall. There were some minor things that could be fixed and make the experience a lot more memorable. We sat with a large group, as the group arrive earlier than we did, their set up the table just behind us for their drinks and snacks, i felt that we had to move each time they gathered for more drinks and snacks, I would have switches spaces upon seeing this as host. There was a birthday group of about 14 persons on another table and the staff dedicated all of their attention to that group, we had to wait for long periods of time between steps to get assistance and move to the next step, then we were rushed to finish our project at the end, the workshop ended 30 minutes late to accommodate everyone else who had not finished their projects. read more

This was our first visit to The Rustic Brush and it will not be our last! I brought my sister here for her birthday just the two of us and we enjoyed ourselves. As we walked in we were warmly welcomed. There were cubbies to put or bags and of it's also BYOB. We put on aprons and we were introduced to our ladies who would help us through the process. Everything was explained thoroughly and was very easy to do as beginners. Its a timely process but we enjoyed the hands on personal touch with our boards. The owners were nice to always chat and come over and make sure we felt welcomed. I loved this place and can't wait to return! The board I had was a small size and for the price it was well worth it. My experience here was just ok. Upon arrival, they didn't have me or my sister's projects printed and ready to go. In fact, they were questioning whether I was even registered. Luckily, I had my receipt. I guess between the time I registered and the time I came in to do my project, they switched systems and my reservation was still in the old system. The ladies were nice / helpful while we were doing our projects. It's also nice to be able to bring your own drinks and snacks. I was a little disappointed in their sign selection, but perhaps there are more options that weren't listed on their website. I was hoping to do a Fall or Christmas option, but they weren't available when I signed up in July. read more

I had scheduled a private event with The Rustic Brush, and spoke to an associate about booking the event. The associate mentioned probably a "group discount" that the owner may be able to give us since we were booking a private event. The Owner didn't seem friendly at all when I asked her about it and pretty much told us no, which should've been my first clue right there. Because my friend wanted her event there, I was going to let that go and just book the place. I told her that we were looking at a certain time and she made the event 30 minutes earlier so I told my group to please arrive within 30 minutes of the start time. One of my other friends and I got there early and she immediately made us start sanding our project and was completely rude about it. I'm not sure if that's just how she was but we all thought there was absolutely no customer service. The Owner was also rude to her worker, who was there to help. All the projects seemed rushed, especially for the price we paid. She guided me with drilling, but somehow it still got messed up. So there's a piece of the wood that has the screw hanging out. Overall, I wouldn't go here b/c of the expensive price and the rude Owner. It just seemed she wanted to get us out of there for her next party. We also didn't even get to all be together or she didn't put us next to each other so we really didn't get to mingle as much as we wanted. Also, it's a byob and snacks, but for being this type of establishment, there was nothing for us to put ice in nor did they supply any cups. For the price we paid, they could've at least provide such items. read more

This place is incredible!! My husband and I booked a session for our anniversary, and we both agree it was an amazing experience! You do it all - from laying out your boards, hammering them together, sanding, staining, sticking, and painting! BYO wines and foods like at any Pinot's Palette, but expect to have a MUCH better time! I love that you can pick your own design and all be working on something different at your own pace. The artists there are incredibly helpful and skilled. I beyond recommend this to anyone from friends to dates to anniversaries to birthdays. There was even a large children's party going on while we were there, and it was not at all a distraction. Can not say enough good things!! read more
