Kirkland's is Located in a sleepy strip mall off of 45 on the feeder road.. This store to some (not me) might be a 5 star kinda place.. And While this is harsh... Somebody's gotta say it...To walk into a store and choke and gag on the obnoxious fumes of overpowering sachets and scents is 1 word - disgusting. Ok, 2 more words - not healthy. Who in the world believes that shit smells pleasant and is conducive to shopping? I dunno .. What's the priority - shopping or saving precious brain cells and lungs? Kirkland's has various home decor .. Mirrors, lamps, pictures, holiday decor, curtains, small cheap case goods, hostess/birthday gifts and 9,999,999 small packets of room sachets and spray .. My heart was heavy for the employees, but I bolted for the front door after quick lap around the store...the thick spring pollinated air was refreshing. Will I be back? most likely not.

Baking and grilling set up ;)....got that at a fabulous price! Really came in handy!!!

Just found this shop today and they have a great selection of modern, vintage and contemporary…read morefurniture and home decor at affordable prices. I bought a nightstand and a metal bed frame and the price was reasonable. I could have spent much more time and money there, but had a tight schedule. Robin assisted me and she was really friendly and helpful. I'll be back soon, probably for a couch.

Since purchasing our house I've been on a consignment/vintage kick. Vintage doors, hardware,…read morefurniture, and pre-loved favorites have been my jam. Lucky for me, this spot is truly a consignment gem. Don't judge a book by its cover, the interior of this place is pretty sizable, and bonus, the prices are pretty solid. Additionally, the quality of their furniture is great. It is quite literally everywhere you look. Light fixtures are hung above your head, seating options are displayed everywhere and art paints the walls. Headboards, tables, unique seating, prints, patio furniture, and even jewelry, they have quite a selection. That being said, the only feedback I'd have is better attention to customer service. I think I was acknowledged once, if that. That acknowledgement was a glance, and a response to my "good morning". I'd love to be welcomed into the store, a nice hello, and a check in while shopping, but everyone has off days and it's possible that I experienced a one off. Given the stacked furniture, I think they've outgrown their current warehouse space, which is not their fault, but it can make it a bit difficult to see and appreciate all of their offerings. I can't wait for them to expand to a larger space, but for now, I'm very happy that they're part of the neighborhood.

Greetings The Hand Me Up Shop, as someone who enjoys doing…read more"spring cleaning" all year 'round I appreciate having your store in our community. My kids and I live in a small home where we do not have a lot of storage space, so holding onto items for nostalgic purposes just is not feasible. We do not have a junk drawer, nor do we have a lot of space in the laundry room or the garage. The attic space is small and holds our holiday decorations and not much else fits in there. We clean out our closets often as kids grow out of clothes and shoes and change their style a little to fast for my wallet to keep up. I enjoy changing up the decor in the house and rather than hold onto items, I bag them up and take them to your store. For spring break we took 11 paper grocery bags to your store to donate full of clothing, shoes, kitchen and housewares. It's only March, so who knows how many more bags we will bring to you the remainder of the year. I'm happy to donate to a place that already has great reviews about your low prices. I think this is a great place for parents who are budget-conscience to have an affordable place to purchase necessities for their children. It is even a great option for anyone who is starting out on their own, on a tight budget, and it's also a great option for the bargain hunter and treasure hunter, too. Your staff is friendly and always helpful each time we have visited the store and its nice to see, based on other reviews, that so many other people feel the same way and enjoy their experience shopping in your store. You seem to have many repeat customers and that speaks to the selection and value of your store. After looking at your website it makes this an even better choice to donate and shop at your store since you are so involved in assisting the community between child care assistance, school supplies, senior assistance, meals, and food pantries. All the churches involved with Interfaith have a far reach with the community and your store is a helpful resource for all of them. Donating to your store and shopping in your store makes us feel like we are in a full circle moment of helping others and receiving, as well. You are there in a time of need for others and that is very much appreciated by many in the neighborhood and throughout the community. Once again, thank you so much from one small family in The Woodlands who is happy to have a store like The Hand Me Up Shop in the area and for the affiliation you have with so many congregations who all together help out so many people and give them a positive experience and positive self worth. It is easy to spread the word about this place to friends and family looking to donate their items and feel like they are helping some people and families out with affordable items for themselves and their families. And also it is easy to gush about all the fun items we find in your store, as well. Thank you.

In my few transactions/visits to the physical store, it hasn't been "that bad." The first time I…read morewent, I wasn't greeted - it was almost as if I was deliberately ignored... Maybe my love of shopping in sweats, sneakers/flip flops, and a teeshirt just doesn't ring "$$$" for such an expensive establishment. That being said - maybe it was just a bad day to visit, because after that - the experiences changed and my same demeanor/shopping attire hasn't changed, but the male reps I've dealt with have been super helpful and professional... Can't say the same for the ladies I've had the pleasure (or maybe displeasure) in encountering. Either way - I give this location 4 stars. Mainly because I LOVE Arhaus and because it's the closest location to me. It's tastefully decorated, staged accordingly and if I am looking for something in particular, usually I can find it in this store. I love Arhaus products and the warmth they emit in my home....I don't think the products are OVERLY priced - although some pieces (relics) can cost a pretty penny. If you like one-offs, you will probably find a few here collecting some dust at a reasonable price... you just gotta dig and sometimes wait it out.... Overall, the furniture I have purchased in the past and most recently has lived up to my expectations and the concierge support has also. I most recently had a table arrive damaged (after a 16 week order lead time no less) and they were super helpful in getting that addressed and rushed on the re-order. For that - they've earned a keep from my business. Like I said - the pieces are beautiful, well crafted, and handled with care (for the most part). I can't complain - I've not had a bad experience yet with my orders...knock on wood. ;) I'll keep buying. lol

I left and came back and managed to pick up another item on my list (reed diffusers that smell like glorious pine needles). I also was looking for dining table crackers (the ones that make a popping sound) and they were ALL OUT. CVS actually carried Panatella for way cheap like $5. My advice...all the stores in the Woodlands like Kirklands, Home Goods/Marshalls, etc will be always OUT OF EVERYTHING during any holiday. EVERYONE IN THE WOODLANDS DECORATES AND ENTERTAINS..LOL. So go to Conroe or somewhere else and your items will be in stock in the store.

However the rest of their products, like furniture, wall art, kitchen and dining products have had a huge decline in quality. As well as a huge decline in the countries of origin of their products. It used to be very global, now it's mostly China and other Asian countries who are not known for their quality or human rights and labor protection laws. Now that Pier One is dead and gone, the lack of competition seems to have lowered their standards and increase their prices. They are still good for certain, limited products, but they are clearly a shallow, empty shell of what they used to be
