I went with my 4 year old niece. Cara (the owner) was very nice and patient. She helped us pick out our pottery and colors. She helped set up my niece with her palette and paintbrushes. We had fun painting and drying, then adding glitter. They spray your work with gloss when you are done and you get to take it home the same day if you don't require it to be food safe - otherwise, they keep it for a week or two and apply glaze finish on it. Overall, we had a great experience because the ladies were nice and attentive; the process was seamless and smooth; and it wasn't too expensive. They have a variety of ceramic sculptures (including Sesame Street & Disney characters for the kids), cups, plates, and canvas. PS. They let my niece play with paint and finger paint on the paper-covered table while we waited for our pottery to be ready. They were so nice!

I stayed here for several hours combing through their back issue bins, and I still didn't get through all of them. The place is split into two buildings--one for toys and the other for comics. I only went into the comic building, which, although small, it's undoubtedly mighty in terms of service and selection. I was highly impressed by the staff that day, which made me feel welcome and even chatted with me about various books and storylines, just like the best local comic book shops do. So we had to come up with a backup plan for Christmas due to the lack of professionalism. The initial contact I made was returned days later, so I should have known to choose someone else to complete the job. Prices were also on the higher side but I was initially drawn to her to give business to a local home/faith based business. My recommendation - consider a place with a storefront, there are many local reliable options available that are also more cost effective.

Recently, I have purchased a statue from this place only to come home and find out that the serial number on the statue's box did not match the statue. They also told me that it was the only statue they had in stock prior to purchasing it. I collect statues for many years now, and shop at many different stores and this has never happened to me before. Had I known about the unmatching serial numbers, I would have not purchased this item. In addition, I felt that their customer service was truly abysmal. I did not feel welcomed when I first stepped in and the guys who worked there were less than helpful. If TemDee would like to stay in business and maintain new customers, they should really reevaluate themselves. I have been to many other comic book stores before and they have a more friendlier staff that are always willing to help.

They very rarely offer any assistance at all even if you mister the courage to ask for it. They will give you a very vague unhelpful answer to any question you ask them. They do have an excellent selection of both new and used comic books. There back issue collection is incredible and reasonably priced. If you are going. There for the back issues and you don't care about the staff then by all means this is the place for you. The store is a lot more then comics but I can't really attest to the rest of the store. They seem to have a lot of toys of statues as well as counts baseball cards and other collectables. But I can't attest to their selection or value because that's not really my thing. Overall they seem to have good products but a definite employee problem.
