This is a well-organized, well-lit store with lots of materials to pick from. They also have most of the notions and supplies to finish up your project too. I basically spent half an hour hemming and hawing over if I wanted something specific. An employee saw me (probably with a scrunched up face that happens in my perpetual state of questioning myself and everything around me) and asked if I needed any help. I let him know I was just not able to make decisions and wasn't sure if I found the fabric to inspire me. He was super nice and friendly, and let me know he'd be there the rest of the afternoon. The prices are okay; I wouldn't call it a bargain store but also not unaffordable high-end. The location is great and my experience was positive. I just happened to not find something that spoke to me that day.

The pics that I saw…read moreonline made this place look far bigger than it is and I was expecting some decent prices, since it is located in the middle of a farmer's market. There were upholstery fabrics that were $30-$35 yard that my local fabric store would have sold for $7. There are some decent deals on trim and check the sale bins, but even those are not really a bargain. The positives:, the staff is very helpful and, if you need foam rubber cut for cushions, this is probably the place...I think they make covers to order as well. I just didn't find the selection of fabric to be worth the trek.

It was my first time there, so they showed us around the many rooms of their shop. The shop offers classes and the occasional retreat in their upstairs space. The store is a quilter's dream - its saturated from head to toe in fabric, patterns, kits, and more. Virtually every single surface was covered in quilt related items for sale, but it doesn't look messy or chaotic. They have a great selection of reproduction fabrics as well, and entire sections for nursery quilts, batiks, flannel, and seasonal items. You can buy fabrics from many major designers. The staff helped us choose fabrics for our project and also provided helpful information about the material (we almost bought one rayon print when the rest of our material was cotton). I really enjoyed visiting this store and without a doubt I will come back, especially because they carry so many things I can usually only get online. Hopefully in the future I can take a long arm class or two!

You will find everything you need. My only complaint was that we went on an extremely hot day and there isn't central air so some of the rooms are very hot. Overall it's a great quilt shop!
